1 Introducon
Read these instrucons completely before you use the
mul-point locks.
To safely use the mul-point locks BS 2100 and
BS 2800, adhere to the dened operang instrucons
in order to prevent funconal disorders or damage.
Follow the notes in Chapter 2 "Safety", in order to
prevent personal injury or damage.

1.2 Target group of this documentaon
These instrucons are intended for end users.
1.3 Intended use
• The mul-point lock is suitable for use in single-sash
and double-sash doors in permanent buildings.
• The mul-point lock may only be installed in doors
that have been ed in a technically sound manner.
• The door design must permit use of the mul-point
lock.
1.4 Locking part and hardware
• Repair of the mul-point lock is not permissible.
If the mul-point lock is damaged, it must be repai-
red or replaced by KFV or by a specialist company.
• Use only KFV frame parts.
1.5 Improper use
• The mul-point lock must not be used for escape
doors.
• The mul-point lock must not be used in doors for
wet rooms or rooms in which the air contains
aggressive or corrosive components.
• Foreign objects and/or materials which impede or
prevent proper use must not be placed within the
opening range, the locking system or the striker
plates.
• Do not interfere with and/or make any
modicaons to the mul-point lock.
1.6 Service notes
• Check that all moving components are funconing
properly once a year.
• Please get in touch with your contractual partner if
you noce malfuncon or damage.

All measurements are given in mm.

1.9 Appropriate disposal
• The mul-point lock and the oponal accessories
should not be disposed of with household waste.
Comply with the current local and naonal

recycled and can be taken to the local waste paper
disposal site.
