– Passthecablethroughpropercableglandtoavoid
ingressofmaterial.
– Connectthecablesandtightenthescrewsrmly.

– Settherelaytoratedcurrentmentionedonmotor

themotorandwaittillitreachestonormalspeed.
Reducetherelaysettingstillittrips.
– Settherelayatslightlyhighervalue.
– Allowaresettimeapprox4min.andrelayresetsonits
own.
– Restartthemotor.Iftherelaydoesnottrip,consider
therelayasproperlyset.Ifittrips,setitatlittlehigher
valueandrecheck.
– Presstheredknob(Fig.2)ontheoverloadrelayto
stopthemotor
– Fixthefrontcover.TorquefortheInstrumentHead
Screwsis80to140N-cm.
Operation:
• ON/OFFOperation
– RotatetheLatchawayfromOFFpushbutton
– Switch‘ON’thestarterbypressingthegreenpush
button(marked‘I’)(Fig.1)onthestartercover.
– Switch‘OFF’thestarterbypressingtheredpush
button(marked‘O’)(Fig.1)onthestartercover.
• ResetOperation
– Iftheoverloadrelaytrips,itresetsautomatically.
(*Allowaresettimeofapprox.4min.)
Maintenance:
• Switchoffthestarteranddisconnectthemainsupply
byswitchingthemainswitchbeforedoingany
maintenance.
• Keeptheinteriordustfree.
• Re-tightentheterminalscrewsfromtimetotime.
• Nomaintenanceisneededforoverloadrelay.Pleasedo
notopentherelay.
• Replacethecontactors/contactsofthecontactorsifthey
wereseverelypittedorwhenonly40%oftheoriginal
contacttipsremains.
• ReplacementofoverloadRelay
I. Disconnectthemotorwiresconnectedtotherelay
terminals.
II. Loosentheoutgoingterminalsscrewsofthecontactor
(Fig.3)
III.Disengagetherelayterminals&hookfromcontactor
IV.Taketheoverloadrelayofsamerange
V. Connect&tightentherelayterminals(L1L2L3)tothe
contactorterminals(T1T2T3)
VI.Ensurethattherelayhook(Fig.3)isengagedinthe
slotofthecontactorandslidetherelayinwardstillthe
coverisushwithcontactorribs.
VII.Reconnectthedisconnectedmotorwirestorelayand
checkthecorrectnessofthestarterwiringbyreferring
tothewiringdiagram.
