- PlacetheoperatingPCon thewooden console.
•When the message "PressF2to enterSETUP" appears,pressthe"F2"key.
TheCMOS setupmenu appears.
•Selectthe"Main"menu usingthe← →cursorkeys.
•Inthe "Main" menu, use the ↑ ↓ cursorkeystoselectthe submenu "Boot Option".

•Press onthe clamp in the direction ofthe arrow (1/Fig. 3)andremove it (2/Fig.3).
•Pro C5: Remove the lower rear cover (3/Fig. 3).
•Pro C6: Removethe center rear cover (3/Fig. 3).
•Removethe board from thepackaging.
•Slidetheboard horizontallyinthedirection ofthe arrow (1/Fig.4).
Ensurethatthe tipof the anglebracketlocksintotheguide(a/Fig.4).
•Press the board into thecardslot until it locks into place.
•Lockthebracket in the directionofthearrowinorderto securetheboard(2/Fig.4).
•Pro C5: PlugthesuppliedcableintoboardD51.X3.
•Releasethe upper supportby turning the screw onequarter turn (1/Fig.5).
•Liftup the support(2/Fig.5),pullitout in the directionof the arrow (3/Fig.5)andsetit
aside.
•Connectthecableaccordingtothediagram(Fig.6).
•Reinsertthesupportandsecureit.
•Pro C6: Plug the wire marked with "D51 X3" at X3 on the boardD5.
•ReconnectallcablesexcepttheDUEP X51 atPC.
•SwitchthesystemOFF.

Ensurethattheanchorpinson the innersideof the upperpartof the housing lock into
the correspondingguides.
- press inthe direction ofthe arrow (2/Fig. 7),until it noticeably locksintoplace.
•Pushin the drawer;becarefulofthe cable layoutinthe operatingconsole.
•Pushthe operatingPC to theback andrightinthe operatingconsole,so that the ventila-
tionductsarenot blocked.

•The LM control unit mustbescrewedfirmlyontothe drawer.IfaSCENIC ProC5/ProC6
isinstalled, then remove theexistingwoodenconsole.
•Measuretheheightin the controlconsole(1/Fig.1).Ifthedimensionisgreaterthanor
equalto 21 cm,settingthedrawerlowerisnot required.
•Drill 2 holes(4.2 mmdia.) each 15 mm from the upper edge on both sides of the PC
drawer(1/Fig.2).

•Fastenthedrawer to the newlydrilledholes(1/Fig.2).ObtaintheM4nutslocally.
•To be able to reach the rear screws,the drawer must be withdrawn sofar until it can be
liftedoutfromtheguideroller(1/Fig.3).
•Drill4holes of 5.5 mm diameter in the drawer(1/Fig.4).
The horizontal spacing oftheholesis277+ 0.2 mm.Drillthe first row ofholes100 mm
fromthefrontedge.The distancebetweenthefirstandsecondrow of holes is 259mm,
i.e. the secondrow is 359 mm from the front edgeof thedrawer.
•SystemON.
•Duringthedisplay"PressF2toenterSETUP" pressthe"F2"key.
•Enterthepassword"TDRX".
•Pressthe"ENTER"or "Entrée"key.TheCMOS setupmenu appears.
•Selectthe"Main"menu with the cursorkeys"← →".
•Inthe"Main" menu selectwiththecursorkeys"↑ ↓" the "Boot Option" submenu.
•Selectthe"BootSequence"menu with the cursorkeys"↑ ↓".
•Change"BootSequence1."with the"-" key inthenumeric keypad to diskette
(diskette is 1; hard disk is 2).
•Pressthe"Esc"or"Echap" key.
•Selectthe"Advanced"menuwiththecursorkeys"← →".
•Inthe"Advanced"menuselect with the cursor keys "↑ ↓"the"PeripheralConfiguration".

•Pressthe"ENTER"or "Entrée"key.
•In the "Peripheral Configuration" menu select withthe cursor keys "↑ ↓" the
"DisketteController" menu.
•Set the "Diskette Controller" with the "+/-" keys to "DISABLED".
•Pressthe"Esc"or "Echap" key twice.
•Pressthe"ENTER"or "Entrée"keytwice.
•Afterashorttimethe Multilineoperatingsoftwarestartup messageappears:
NoHost Communication.
•SystemOFF.
If "Auto-detect Harddisk" is selected unintentionally in the Bios,
then the setting values are lost without any query and the hard
disk is no longer detected. The values for the hard disk must then
be entered manually.

•Reconnect all cables exceptforDUEP X51to the PC.
•System ON.
•Checkthatthe displayon the boardD51 runsbackfrom"9"to "1".
- Thedisplayremainsfora shorttime at "3"
- "0"= everythingOK
- "1"= no DUEP comes
•System OFF.
•ConnecttheDUEP cableX51.
Close the operating PC 3
•Fastentheuppercontrolunitcoveragain.
•Fasten the control unit to the drawer.
•Pushin the drawerpayingattentiontothecableruninthe console.
