1 Check for Pending Transactions
IMPORTANT NOTE: If there are any pending transactions, reversal or pre-authorisation transactions
on the terminal, YOU MUST ensure that all of these transactions are uploaded from the terminal
prior to upgrading to the latest application via USB flash drive.
However, terminals that are operating on 2015 software that has the pre-authorisation transactions
stored can be upgraded to latest application without affecting any stored pre-authorisation
transactions. Please note any pending transaction or reversal on the terminal
that has 2015 software will need to be cleared prior to upgrading to latest
version.
If you do not upload these transactions from the terminal, you run the risk of corrupting the pending
transactions which will impact your customer. If pending transactions are present during an upgrade
the terminal will automatically deactivate and will need to be returned to Skyzer Service Centre.
Please perform the steps below to determine if there are any pending transactions in the terminal
prior to upgrading.
