Introduction
This product integrates four-beam infrared sensors, widely used as
a perimeter guarding device in gated houses, shops and indoor
garages. The product requires to be paired to the K1/K2 hub. When
an intruder walks past the detection area and two or more light
beams have been blocked, the sensors will immediately send a
warning signal to the K1/K2 hub.

Pairing to the K1/K2 Hub
The sensors need to be paired to the K1/K2 Hub rst before use. To
pair the sensors, please refer to the smanos home app accessories
page, press the "+" button on the top right corner to add a new
accessory and follow the in-app instructions.
Once the sensors are added, you can check its status (the
connection with the K1/K2 Hub and battery status) on the
accessories page. You can customize your sensor by renaming,
selecting a location category in the IR beam sensors page of the
smanos home app.
You can select an alarm zone for your sensor by enabling Alarm
When Home Armed, Alarm Regardless of State (24/7) or setting
Alarm Delay Time. You may also adjust Alarm Time Settings (how
long the sensor alerts when it’s triggered).
Settings
Remove the upper installation caps (marked UP) and waterproof
rubber plugs on both the transmitter and the receiver, pull out
both circuit boards (marked UP) gently and insert the batteries
(pay attention to the “+” “-” polarity).
Power Output Setting
This setting is in the transmitter unit only.
The distance between the transmitter and receiver is suggested
to be less than 6 meters and the default power out setting is high
output. If the distance is less than 3 meters, you could adjust the
power out setting by sliding switch 1 down.

Removing Sensors from the K1/K2 Hub
In the smanos home app accessories page, slide the sensor from
right to left. Then tap on the ashbin icon to remove sensor from the
hub.
Installation Mode
To initiate installation, set the Sensors to installation mode from
the smanos home app on the IR beam sensors page or press the
installation mode button in the receiver circuit board, then put it
back into the beam bar. Insert the waterproof rubber plug and
cover the installation cap.
After pressing the installation mode button, the receiver will beep
accordingly to signal strength. Higher frequencies indicate a
stronger signal. A beep every 3 seconds indicate no signal.
The device will exit installation mode after the receiver receives a
stable connection signal between transmitter and receiver (duration
varies by signal strength) or automatically after 30 minutes. You can
also exit manually by setting the installation mode to off.
Fixation
1. Activate installation mode. Put the transmitter to the target place
and adjust the distance between the transmitter and receiver. We
recommend installing the IR sensors on doors or windows, within
the range of the K1/K2 Hub. The gap between the transmitter and
receiver should be no more than 6 meters apart.
Note: The transmitter and receiver must be aligned to each other,
and maintain the same distance from the ground.
2. Mark the screw holes of the transmitter, then use the hole punch
to punch two screw holes. Insert the expansion bolt, then x the
transmitter with screws.
3. Adjust the receiver on the other side of the detection area. Make
sure the buzzer rate is high (2-3 beeps within 1 second intervals).
Fix the receiver as necessary after adjusting.

4. When the buzzer stops, arm the K1/K2 system. If the system
alarms when walking in between the transmitter and receiver that
means the installation is successful and the sensors are functional.
5. Do not install the sensors at the following locations:
1. Areas where pets are active.
2. Dusty and muddy areas.
3. Within a 50 cm radius from power cables or network cables.
4. Near trees or plants, as leaves or trunks may block the infrared
beam.
Changing Batteries
You can check the battery status via the app. The LED light on the
receiver will also blink once every 3 seconds to indicate low battery.
When this happens, please change the batteries.

device and all its components together to a center of electronical and electrotechnical
waste recycling center, designated by your local authorities.
