Note: This series of through-wall unit has two kinds of grille. One is the grille equipped with the enclosure
provided by Gree, which is applicable to the enclosure provided by Gree and shown in Fig.（Left）;
another is the grille equipped with the complete unit, which is applicable to any other enclosure except
the enclosure provided by Gree and shown in Fig. （Right）
Please install it according to the specification.

Standard Wall Sleeve

1. Remove the outside enclosure panel from the wallsleeve.
2. Slide the wall sleeve into the wall opening. Do not distortthecabinetshapeto
fitthewallopening;theunit chassis must fit snugly and uniformly into the wall sleeve.
3.Locatethesleevewithintherangeofminimumprojections,sobothsides are at least
theminimum projectionfrom thewall.
4. Checkthelevelofthewallsleeve. Forproperdrainage, the sleeve should be level from
side to side and one-quarter bubble front to back (outside).
5. Drill two holes in both sides of the wall sleeve so mounting screws can be secured
towallsupports. DONOT DRILLTHROUGHBOTTOM OF SLEEVE.
6.Checkthelevelofthewallsleeveandadjustifnecessary.
7.Caulkorsealaroundtheoutsideoftheentiresleeve.
8.Iftheunitchassisisnottobeinstalledimmediately, replacetheenclosurepanelonthe
outsideopeningof thesleevetolimitweatherdamagetothebuilding interior.
9.Recycleordisposeofpackagingmaterialsaccordingto localcodes.
