SCSIオプションESBK-7051は、エディットステーション (EditStationTM)
ES-7のISAスロットに取り付ける基板です。本基板を取り付けると、MOド
ライブなどのSCSI機器をES-7に接続できるようになります。これにより、他
の機器とES-7との間でMOを使ったデータの交換が可能になります。
SCSI端子 (50ピン高密度SCSI-2)
別売りのSCSIケーブルESBK-7053を使ってSCSI機器を接続します。
エディットステーションES-7に付属の取扱説明書の「第3章 接続と設定」
の「ISAスロットへ取り付ける」を参照のうえ、本基板を取り付けてください。
ご注意
取り付ける前に、必ずES-7の電源を切ってください。

本基板を使用する前に、ドライバーソフトウェアをインストール する必 要 があ
ります。以下の操作で、ログオンするときは必ずAdministratorsグループ
のメンバーのユーザー名およびパスワードを使ってください。
次の手順に従って操作します。
1ES-7の取扱説明書の「システムを起動する」の手順に従ってログオ
ンを行う。
デスクトップ画面が表示されます。
2ES-7に付属の「WindowsNT1)WorkstationVersion4.0」CD-ROM
ディスクをES-7のCD-ROMドライブに入れる。
3タスクバーの「スタート」ボタンをクリックし、「設定」をポイントして「コ
ントロールパネル」をクリックする。

「コントロールパネル」ウィンドウが開きます。
4「コントロールパネル」ウィンドウの「SCSIアダプタ」アイコンをダブル
クリックする。
次の画面が表示されます。

5「ドライバ」タブをクリックする。
6「追加 (A)」ボタンをクリックする。
次の画面が表示されます。

7「製造元」のリストから「Adaptec1)」を選択する。
次の画面が表示されます。
8「SCSIアダプタ」のリストから「AdaptecAHA-152X/AHA-1510SCSI
HOSTAdapter」を選択し、「OK」ボタンをクリックする。
インストールが 始まり、しばらくすると次の画面が表示されます。
9「WindowsNTWorkstationVersion4.0」CD-ROMディスクを取り
出し、「はい」ボタンをクリックする。
ES-7のシステムがシャットダウンされた後、再び起動され、ESBK-
7051基板が使用できるようになります。

Installing the Driver Software
The ESBK-7051 SCSI Option is an expansion board that
installs in an ISA slot of the ES-7 EditStation™ to enable
connection of MO drives and other external SCSI devices to
the ES-7. You can use MO drives to exchange ES-7 data with
other equipment.
SCSI connector (50-pin high-density SCSI-2)
Connect the SCSI connector to a SCSI device with the optional
ESBK-7053 SCSI cable.

For installation, refer to “Installing Expansion Boards in ISA
Slots” in Chapter 3 “Connections and Settings” in the
Operating Instructions supplied with the ES-7 EditStation.
Note
Be sure to power the ES-7 off before installing this board.
To use the expansion board, you will need to start the system
and install the driver software. When you start the system, be
sure to log on with the user name and password of a member of
the Administrators group.
To install the driver software, proceed as follows.
1Log on following the procedure explained in “Starting the
System” in the ES-7 Operating Instructions.
The desktop appears on the screen.
2Insert the Windows NT1) Workstation Version 4.0 CD-
ROM disc supplied with the ES-7 into the CD-ROM drive
of the
ES-7.

3Click the Start button on the taskbar, point to Settings, then
click Control Panel.
The Control Panel window appears.

4Double click the SCSI Adapters icon in the Control Panel
window.
The SCSI Adapters dialog box appears.

After a few moments, the following dialog box appears.

8Select “Adaptec AHA-152X/AHA-1510 SCSI HOST
Adapter” from the SCSI Adapters drop-down list, and clik
the OK button.
Installation starts. After a few moments, the following
dialog box appears.
9Remove the Windows NT Workstation Version 4.0 CD-
ROM, and click the Yes button.

La carte SCSI Option ESBK-7051 est une carte d’extension qui
s’installe dans un logement ISA de l’ EditStationMD ES-7 pour
permettre le raccordement d’unités MO et d’autres
périphériques SCSI à l’ES-7. Les unités MO peuvent être
employées pour échanger des données ES-7 avec d’autres
appareils.
