概要
DSBK-1801/1802/1803/1601/1602は、ソニーデジタルビデオカセットレ
コーダー/プレーヤーDSR-1800/1600用の別売り基板です。各基板の特
長は以下のとおりです。
SDI(シリアルデジタルインターフェース)/AES/EBUインプット/アウト
プットボードDSBK-1801
デジタルビデオカセットレコーダーDSR-1800に装着すると、D1フォーマッ
トのデジタルビデオ/ オーディオ信号の入出力が可能になります。また、
AES/EBUフォーマットの デジタル オーディオ信号の入出力も可能になりま
す。
SDTI(QSDI)インプット/アウトプットボードDSBK-1802
デジタルビデオカセットレコーダーDSR-1800に装着すると、ソニーエディッ
トステーションとの 間 で 、SDTI(QSDI)フォーマットのビデオ/オーディオ/タ
イムコード信 号を標 準 速 度 で やり取りできるようになります。また、DSR-
1800と他のDVCAMVTRとの間で、圧縮信号をそのままコピーすること
が可能になります。

デジタルビデオカセットレコーダーDSR-1800およびデジタルビデオカセッ
トプレーヤーDSR-1600に装着すると、i.LINKに準拠したDV端子付きの
他のソニー製機器との間で、デジタル信号による編集やダビングを行うこ
とができます。

DSBK-1601
デジタルビデオカセットプレーヤーDSR-1600に装着すると、D1フォーマッ
トのデジタルビデオ/オーディオ信号の出力が可能になります。また、
AES/EBUフォーマットのデジタルオーディオ信号の出力も可能になりま
す。
SDTI(QSDI)アウトプットボードDSBK-1602
デジタルビデオカセットプレーヤーDSR-1600に装着すると、ソニーエディッ
トステーションに対して、SDTI(QSDI)フォーマットのビデオ/オーディオ/タ
イムコード信号を標準速度で転送できるようになります。また、DSR-1600か
ら他のDVCAMVTRに対して、圧縮信号をそのまま転送することが可能
になります。

取り付け
DSR-1801/1802/1803/1601/1602をDSR-1800/1600(以下、「本体」とい
います)に取り付ける手順は、次のとおりです。
ご注意
取り付け作業を開始する前に、本体および基板の保護のため、必ず本体
の電源を切ってください。
1本体の天板を外す。
2本体の後面パネルからブランクパネルを外す。
どのブランクパネルを外 すかは、取り付ける基板によって異なります。
DSBK-1801 の場合は、ブランクパネル 2 枚を外します。(下図参照)
本体の後面パネル DSBK-1801/1601を取り付けるときに外す。
DSBK-1802/1602を取り付けるときに外す。
DSBK-1803を取り付けるときに外す。

4基板中央部を押して、基板下側にある端子と本体側の端子を結合さ
せてから、基板に付属のネジで基板を固定する。
5本体の天板を取り付ける。

Overview
The DSBK-1801/1802/1803/1601/1602 are optional boards for
the Sony DSR-1800/1800P Digital Videocassette Recorder and
DSR-1600/1600P Digital Videocassette Player. They have the
following features.
DSBK-1801 SDI (Serial Digital Interface)/AES/EBU Input/Output
Board
When installed in the DSR-1800/1800P, enables input and
output of digital video and audio signals in the D1 format, and
also enables input and output of AES/EBU-format digital audio
signals.

DSBK-1802 SDTI (QSDI) Input/Output Board
When installed in the DSR-1800/1800P, allows SDTI (QSDI)-
format video, audio, and timecode signals to be exchanged at
normal speed with the Sony EditStationTM. This board also
allows compressed signals to be copied between the DSR-
1800/1800P and other DVCAM VCRs.
DSBK-1803 i.LINK1)/DV Input/Output Board
When installed in the DSR-1800/1800P/1600/1600P, allows
the videocassette recorder or player to be connected to the
i.LINK compatible DV connectors of other Sony devices to
perform editing and dubbing of digital signals.
DSBK-1601 SDI/AES/EBU Output Board
When installed in the DSR-1600/1600P, enables output of
digital video and audio signals in the D1 format, and also
enables output of AES/EBU-format digital audio signals.
DSBK-1602 SDTI (QSDI) Output Board
When installed in the DSR-1600/1600P, allows SDTI (QSDI)-
format video, audio, and timecode signals to be output at
normal speed to the Sony EditStation. This board also allows
compressed signals to be output from the DSR-1600/1600P to
other DVCAM VCRs.

Cautions
• If this option is installed incorrectly, personal injury or
damage to peripheral items may occur due to fire, shock, or
other accidental circumstances. To avoid such risks,
installation should be performed by qualified service
personnel.
• Before starting the installation operation, be sure to switch off
the power of the videocassette recorder or player.
Proceed as follows to install an optional DSBK-1801/1802/
1803/1601/1602 board in the DSR-1800/1800P/1600/1600P
(called “the unit” below).
1Remove the top panel of the unit.

2Remove the appropriate blank panel from the rear panel of
the unit.
The blank panel to remove depends on the optional board
you are installing.
To install the DSBK-1801 or DSBK-1601, you need to
remove two blank panels (see the figure below).

Remove to install the DSBK-1802/1602.

3Align the attachment screw holes on the board with the
attachment screw holes of the unit.

4Press down on the center of the board to connect the
connector of the board to the connector of the unit, and
then fasten the board in place with the supplied screws.
5Replace the top panel of the unit.

Les cartes DSBK-1801/1802/1803/1601/1602 sont des cartes
optionnelles destinées aux magnétoscopes enregistreurs
numériques DSR-1800/1800P et aux magnétoscopes lecteurs
numériques DSR-1600/1600P Sony. Voici leurs
caractéristiques.
Carte d’entrée/sortie SDI (interface numérique série)/AES/EBU
DSBK-1801
Installée dans un DSR-1800/1800P, cette carte permet l’entrée
et sortie de signaux vidéo et audio numériques en format D1, et
également celle de signaux audio numériques de format AES/
EBU.
Carte d’entrée/sortie SDTI (QSDI) DSBK-1802
Installée dans un DSR-1800/1800P, cette carte permet
l’échange de signaux vidéo, audio de format SDTI (QSDI) et
de signaux de code temporel àvitesse normale avec
l’EditStationMD Sony. Elle permet également la copie de
signaux comprimés entre le DSR-1800/1800P et d’autres
magnétoscopes DVCAM.

permet la connexion du magnétoscope enregistreur ou lecteur à
des connecteurs DV compatibles i.LINK d’autres appareils
Sony pour permettre le montage et la copie de signaux
numériques.
Carte de sortie SDI/AES/EBU DSBK-1601
Installée dans un DSR-1600/1600P, elle permet la sortie de
signaux vidéo et audio numériques en format D1, et celle de
signaux audio numériques de format AES/EBU.
Carte de sortie SDTI (QSDI) DSBK-1602
Installée dans un DSR-1600/1600P, elle permet la sortie de
signaux vidéo, audio de format SDTI (QSDI) et de signaux de
code temporel àvitesse normale àl’EditStation Sony. Cette
carte permet également la sortie de signaux comprimés du
DSR-1600/1600P àd’autres magnétoscopes DVCAM.

Attention
•L’installation incorrecte de cette option pourra engendrer un
feu, une décharge électrique ou d’autres circonstances
accidentelles, qui pourraient donner lieu àdes blessures ou à
des dommages pour les éléments périphériques. Pour éviter
de tels risques, faites faire l’installation par un personnel de
service qualifié.
•Avant de commencer l’installation, n’oubliez pas de mettre le
magnétoscope enregistreur ou lecteur hors tension.
Procédez comme suit pour installer une carte DSBK-1801/
1802/1803/1601/1602 dans un DSR-1800/1800P/1600/1600P
(appeléci-dessous “l’appareil”).
1Retirez le panneau supérieur de l’appareil.

2Retirez la plaque de suppression adaptée du panneau
arrière de l’appareil.
La plaque de suppression àretirer dépend de la carte en
option àinstaller.
Pour installer la DSBK-1801 ou DSBK-1601, retirez deux
plaques de suppression (voir la figure ci-dessous).
