安全のために
組み立ての際には、モニターの電源を切って
電源プラグを抜く
モニターの電源を接続したまま、本キットとの組み立てを行
うと、モニターと本キットに電源コードをはさみ、感電の原
因となることがあります。組み立ての際にはモニターの電源
を切り、電源プラグを抜いてください。
油煙、湯気、湿気、ほこりの多い場所には設
置しない
上記のような場所に設置すると、火災や感電の原因となりま
す。取扱説明書に記されている仕様条件以外の環境での使用
は、火災や感電の原因となります。
下記の注意を守らないと、
火災や感電により死亡や大けがに
つながることがあります。

重いモニターは 2人以上で開
梱・運搬する
モニターは、見た目より重量がありま
す。開梱や運搬は、けがや事故を防ぐた
め、必ず 2人以上で行ってください。1
人で行うと、腰を痛めることがありま
す。
転倒、移動防止の処置をする
モニターをラックに取り付け・取りはず
しするときは、転倒・移動防止の処置を
しないと、倒れたり、動いたりして、け
がの原因となることがあります。
安定した姿勢で注意深く作業してくださ
い。
また、ラックの設置状況、強度を充分に
お確かめください。
不安定な場所に設置しない
ぐらついた台の上や傾いたところなどに
設置すると、モニターが落ちたり、倒れ
たりしてけがの原因となることがありま
す。また、設置・取付け場所の強度を充
分にお確かめください。
指定された接続ケーブルを使
う
この取扱説明書に記されている接続ケー
ブルを使わないと、火災や故障の原因と
なることがあります。
組み立ての際には、モニター
のハンドルを持つ
モニターと本キットの組み立ての際にモ
ニターの底面を持つと、モニターと本
キットの間に指や手を挟み、けがをする
ことがあります。組み立ての際は必ずモ
ニターのハンドルを持ってください。
組立て作業は 2 人以上で行な
う
モニターとコントロールユニットを連結
する時は、2 人以上で行なって下さい。
1 人で行なうと、腰を痛めたり、けがの
原因となることがあります。

概要
モニターコントロールユニットアタッチメントキット BKM-
36H は、ソニー BVM-A シリーズの 24 インチモニターとモ
ニターコントロールユニット BKM-15R を連結するための組
み立てキットです。
部品構成
BKM-36H は以下の部品で構成されています。組み立てを始
める前に、部品がすべてそろっていることをお確かめくださ
い。

組み立て

組み立て
1 BKM-15R 底面の足 4 本をはずす。
2 BKM-15R の両側面にベースフレーム（左）（右）を取り
付ける。
各ベースフレームは、ネジ A（4 × 12mm）を 2 本ずつ
使って固定する。
3 ベースフレーム（左）（右）にリアステーを乗せ、ネジ
B（4 × 8mm）2 本とネジ C（4 × 8mm）2 本を使って
固定する。
4 ベースフレーム（左）（右）に、手順 1 ではずした足を 2
本ずつ、はずしたネジを使って取り付ける。
5 ベースフレーム（左）（右）の前面に、スペーサー（大）
または（小）2 個を、ネジ B（4 × 8mm）2 本を使って
取り付ける。
スペーサーの金具の突起をベースフレームの穴にはめ込
んでから、ネジ B で固定します。

◆ スペーサーの選択については、「スペーサーについて」（8 ペー
ジ）をご覧ください。
6 接続ケーブルを、BKM-15R の DC5VIN 端子および LAN
（10 ／100）端子に接続する。
ご注意
DC5VIN 端子にケーブルをつなぐときは、ケーブル両端の
凸凹を確認し、必ず凹側を BKM-15R に接続してください。
つなぐときは、ケーブル先端の形と DC5VIN 端子の形をあ
わせるようにして、差し込んでください。
7 ワイヤーサドル 2 個をベースフレームに取り付け、接続
ケーブルを固定する。
8 リアステー上部の丸穴 2 個にモニター底面の足をはめる
ようにして、モニターを載せる。
ご注意
モニターを載せるときは、必ずモニターのハンドルを持って
ください。
9 ネジ B（4 × 8mm）4 本を使って、モニターとベースフ
レーム（左）（右）を固定する。
10 サイドカバー（左）（右）をネジ D（4 × 8mm）4 本で
ベースフレーム（左）（右）に取り付ける。
（サイドカバーは左右とも同じ形状です。）

組み立て

11 接続ケーブルのコネクターを、モニター後面のモニター
コントロールユニット用端子部の、DC5VOUT 端子お
よび LAN（10 ／100）端子に接続する。
ご注意
DC5VOUT 端子にケーブルをつなぐときは、ケーブル
両端の凸凹を確認し、必ず凸側をモニターに接続してく
ださい。つなぐときは、ケーブル先端の形と DC5V
OUT 端子の形を合わせるようにして、差し込んでくだ
さい。
スペーサーについて
本機には 2 種類のスペーサーが付属しています。
スペーサーによって、モニターの正面デザインが変わりま
す。
スペーサー（大）を使用したとき
スペーサー（小）を使用したとき
スペーサーの交換のしかた
いったん BKM-15R とモニターを連結したあとでも、下記の
手順で簡単にスペーサーを交換することができます。
1 サイドカバーをはずす。
2 スペーサーを固定しているネジをはずす。
3 スペーサーを取りはずす。
4 新しいスペーサーを、逆の手順で取り付ける。

Overview
The BKM-36H Monitor Control Unit Attachment Kit is an
assembly kit for joining a Sony BVM-A series 24 inch
monitor to a BKM-15R Monitor Control Unit.
Components

10 Assembly
Assembly
1 Remove the four legs from the bottom of the BKM-
15R.
2 Attach the right and left base frames to the sides of the
BKM-15R using four screws A (4×12 mm).
Use two screws A for each base frame.
3 Place the rear stay on the right and left base frames and
assemble them using two screws B (4×8 mm) and two
screws C (4×8 mm).
4 Attach the legs removed in Step 1 to the base frames
using the screws removed in Step 1. (Attach two legs
to each base frame.)
5 Attach the large or small spacers to the front of the left
and right base frames, using two screws B (4×8 mm).
First align the projections on the spacer’s plate with the
holes on the base frame, then fasten screw B.

Assembly
For the selection of the spacer, see “Using the
Spacers” on page 12.
6 Connect the supplied connecting cable to the DC 5V
IN and LAN(10/100) connectors on the rear panel of
the BKM-15R.
Be sure to plug the female connector of the cable into the
DC 5V IN connector on the BKM-15R.
7 Attach the two cable holders to the base frame and
extend the connecting cable through them.
8 Place the monitor on the BKM-15R and the base
frames so that the two legs of the monitor can go into
the two holes on the top of the rear stay.
When placing the monitor, be sure to hold the handles of
the monitor.
9 Attach the right and left base frames to the monitor
using four screws B (4×8 mm).
10 Attach the right and left side covers to the monitor
using four screws D (4×8 mm).
(The right and left side covers are in the same shape.)

12 Assembly
11 Plug the connecting cable into the DC 5V OUT and
LAN(10/100) connectors at the rear of the monitor.
Be sure to plug the male connector of the cable into the
DC 5V OUT connector on the monitor.
Using the Spacers
Two types of spacers are supplied with this unit.
The front view of the monitor varies according to the
spacers in use.

Changing the spacers
After the monitor and the BKM-15R have been assembled,
you can change the spacer as follows:
1 Remove the side covers.
2 Remove the screws securing the spacers.
3 Remove the spacers.
4 Attach new spacers in the reversed order.
