CONNESSIONI ELETTRICHE
Questi fari sono stati progettati per l’utilizzo di lampade
alogene a bassa tensione (24V) e con potenza di 150W.
• Il modello MI PR LW/CT ha l’alimentatore incorporato
e può essere collegato alla rete a 220-240V, 50-60
Hz. Il cavo di alimentazione risponde alle norme CEI
20-35.
• Il modello MI PR LW richiede l’uso di trasformatore
esterno; vericare che sia un trasformatore di
sicurezza a norme CE, con tensione di ingresso
corrispondente a quella di rete, tensione in uscita
non superiore a 24V, potenza continua non inferiore
a 150W, e che la sezione minima dei cavi tra
trasformatore ed apparecchio sia di 1,5 mm2 o
maggiore a seconda della distanza dal trasformatore.
Fare comunque riferimento alle istruzioni proprie del
trasformatore per il collegamento elettrico e la messa
a terra del sistema.
Prima e durante l’installazione osservare le seguenti norme:
• Vericare sempre l’efcienza del collegamento a terra
della linea in uso.
• Vericare che il voltaggio di ingresso corrisponda al
voltaggio di rete per il modello con trasformatore
incorporato.
• Non impiegare lampade diverse da quelle indicate
nella tabella lampade (24V 150W max).
• Sull’apparecchio non sono montati fusibili che se necessari
dovranno essere installati sulla linea di alimentazione.
• Questi modelli possono essere collegati a un dimmer
alle seguenti condizioni:
- per il modello con trasformatore esterno (MI PR LW)
vericare che il tipo di trasformatore impiegato possa
lavorare con il dimmer e vericare che il dimmer
stesso possa funzionare con il trasformatore scelto.
- per il modello con trasformatore interno (MI PR LW/CT)
vericare semplicemente che il dimmer impiegato sia
adatto a regolare carichi con trasformatori.
DESCRIZIONE DEL PROIETTORE

INDICAZIONI GENERALI
Il proiettore ora in Vs possesso risponde alle direttive
73/23 CEE in quanto conforme alle norme EN 60598-1
e EN 60598-2-1. Le targhette sistemate sul anco del
proiettore contengono le seguenti informazioni:
• Modello
• Tensione di alimentazione in V
• Potenza della lampada in W
• Indice di protezione IP
• Massima temperatura ambiente ammissibile in °C
• Massima temperatura del corpo del proiettore in °C
• Distanza minima da ogni supercie inammabile
• Informazioni per riconoscere la posizione 0° del faro:
quando la punta della freccia è rivolta verso l’alto.
• angolo massimo di inclinazione verso l’alto e verso
il basso. Questi limiti, imposti dal costruttore
della lampada, non devono essere superati, pena
una riduzione della vita utile della lampada o il
deterioramento del faro.
INSTALLAZIONE
• I proiettori sono progettati esclusivamente per
impiego professionale e quindi vanno installati ed
usati da personale qualicato.
• Gli apparecchi sono previsti per uso all’interno:
pertanto devono essere protetti dall’umidità e dalla
pioggia se usati in condizioni diverse (IP 20)
• Non installare il proiettore a contatto o vicino ad una
supercie inammabile.
• Si prega di prestare la dovuta attenzione alle note
riportate sulle etichette degli apparecchi.
• Ricordarsi di collegare la fune di sicurezza, se previsto
dalle norme di sicurezza locali.
• ll proiettore può essere usato sia sospeso, sia montato
su cavalletto o basetta di appoggio, ribaltando la
forcella.
ATTENZIONE:
Gli apparecchi MI PR LW/CT devono essere
sempre collegati a terra
ATTENZIONE: sostituire immediatamente
la lampada e/o la lente se visibilmente
danneggiate, anche se ancora funzionanti.

INSTALLAZIONE E CAMBIO DELLA LAMPADA
Avvertenza: Non toccare mai il bulbo della lampada
con le mani nude: in tale eventualità pulire il bulbo
con un batuffolo impregnato d’alcool.
Aprire il tettuccio del faro ruotando i pomelli ②.
Rimuovere la lampada da sostituire.
Vericare che la nuova lampada sia conforme alle
speciche riportate nella tabella lampade di questo
manuale.
Montare la nuova lampada .
Riposizionare il tettuccio ed avvitare i pomelli ②.
Ricollegare il faro alla rete.
ACCENSIONE E PUNTAMENTO
I proiettori devono essere collocati rispettando la
distanza minima dall’oggetto che si deve illuminare,
indicata sulle etichette dei fari.
Tramite la maniglia laterale ⑥ si può allentare il
bloccaggio del faro e modicare la sua inclinazione.
Lo stesso si può fare riguardo alla rotazione dell’asse
verticale, facendolo ruotare sul perno di aggancio.
Allentando e facendo scorrere il pomello ⑤ si può far
avanzare e retrocedere l’obiettivo per regolare la messa
a fuoco.
Tramite le quattro lamelle sagomatrici ⑧ si può
sagomare il fascio di luce per ottenere forme speciali.
Ruotando l’obbiettivo ⑦, ruoterà l’intero gruppo di
lamelle sagomatrici.
Per ottenere fasci luminosi più larghi o più stretti
dell’obiettivo standard utilizzare l’obiettivo a fascio
largo (40°) cod. O/MINI 40 o a fascio stretto (8°) cod.
O/MINI 08.
Per la sostituzione dell’obiettivo svitare completamente
il pomello ⑤, inserire il nuovo obiettivo, riposizionare e
riavvitare il pomello ⑤ (vedi g. pag. 2).
L’obiettivo O/MINI 08 può essere ssato con il foro più
arretrato per la messa a fuoco su corte distanze e con
il foro più avanzato per una messa a fuoco su grandi
distanze.
PULIZIA
Per una maggiore resa del faro, occorre tener puliti il
più possibile la lente e lo specchio.
Per fare questo:
• Scollegare il faro dalla rete di alimentazione
• Aprire il tettuccio copertura faro ruotando i pomelli ②.
• Rimuovere l’obiettivo ⑦.
• Rimuovere la lampada e con uno straccio inumidito di
alcool, pulire sia le lenti che lo specchio.
• Reinserire l’obiettivo ⑦ nelle apposite guide ④.
• Reinserire la lampada e riposizionare il tettuccio di
copertura faro riavvitando i pomelli ②.
• Ricollegare il faro alla rete di alimentazione.
MANUTENZIONE
Sottoporre il faro a revisione almeno una volta
all’anno per controllare l’integrità delle parti elettriche
e meccaniche. A tal ne utilizzare solo rivenditori
qualicati, a garanzia di un corretto e completo
intervento.
RICICLAGGIO
Il prodotto deve essere riciclato o smaltito
secondo la direttiva 2002/96/CE
ATTENZIONE: Per motivi di sicurezza, scollegare
sempre l'apparecchio dalla rete di alimentazione
prima di aprirlo per cambiare la lampada.

DESCRIPTION OF THE LUMINAIRE
Please refer to the pictures on page 2:

INTRODUCTION
The luminaire you have bought conforms to 73/23/EEC,
EN 60598-1 and EN 60598-2-1 directives and
regulations.
The labels on the side of the luminaire list the following
information:
• model
• mains supply voltage (V)
• lamp wattage (W)
• protection index IP
• maximum allowed ambient temperature in °C
• maximum temperature of the body in °C
• minimum distance from ammable surface
• information to nd the position 0° of the luminaire:
when the tip of the arrow points upwards
• maximum tilt angle range. These limits, imposed by
the lamp manufacturer, should not be exceeded as
they would reduce the luminaire’s useful life or lead
to its deterioration.
INSTALLATION
• The luminaires are intended for professional use only
so they have to be installed and used by qualied
technicians.
• The products are intended for indoor use:
consequently they have to be protected from humidity
and rain, if used in different conditions (IP 20)
• Do not mount the luminaire on or near a ammable
surface
• Please note carefully the notes written on the labels
of the luminaires.
• Do not forget to connect a safety rope, if required by
local country safety regulations
• The luminaires can be either suspended, or mounted
on a stand, by turning the yoke upside-down.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Your luminaires have been designed to use low voltage
150W-24V halogen lamps.
• The MI PR LW/CT model has an internal transformer
and can be connected to a 220-240V, 50-60 Hz
mains power supply. The power cable conforms to CEI
regulations 20-35.
• The MI PR LW model requires the use of an
external transformer; please check it is a “safety CE
tranformer” with input voltage corresponding to the
mains one, output voltage not over 24V, continuous
wattage at least 150W, and the minimum size of the
wires between the transformer and the luminaire is
1,5 mm2 or more according to the distance from the
transformer.
Please refer to the relevant transformer instructions
about the electrical wiring and the earth of the
system.
Before and during the installation, follow the
instructions below:
• Always check the earth wiring for the line being used.
• Ensure the required voltage of the unit is the
same as the mains one for the model with internal
transformer.
• Do not use lamps other than indicated on the lamp
table (24V 150W max).
• There are no fuses inside the unit, if it is necessary
they should be installed in the mains
• The luminaires can be connected to a dimmer on
the following conditions:
- for external transformer model (MI PR LW)
check if the used transformer can work with
the dimmer and that the dimmer can work with
the chosen transformer.
- for the model with internal transformer
(MI PR LW/CT) please check just that the used
dimmer is suitable to deal with charges with
transformers.
WARNING: replace immediately the lamp
and/or the lens if visibly damaged, even
if still working.
WARNING: The luminaires MI PR LW/CT must
always be earthed

INSERTING AND CHANGING THE LAMP
Notice: Never touch the lamp bulb with bare hands:
should this happen, clean the bulb with a cloth
dampened with alcohol.
Open the luminaire top cover by acting on its knobs ②.
Firstly remove the old bulb.
Please, check the new lamp complies with the
specications mentioned on the lamps table in this
manual.
Insert the new lamp into the socket.
Reinstall the cover and tighten the knobs ②.
Reconnect the luminaire to the mains.
SWITCHING ON AND FOCUSING
The luminaire should be at the minimum distance from
the object it is illuminating, as indicated on the label.
Using the handle on the side ⑥ it is possible to loosen
the luminaire blocking it when it is locked and thus
change its inclination. You can rotate the luminaire on
the vertical axis by rotating it on its hook clamp.
By loosening and shifting the knob ⑤ it is possible to
advance or retreat the objective to adjust the focusing.
The beam of light can be cut by the four framing
shutters ⑧ to obtain special shapes.
By tunning the objective ⑦ you can turn the whole
group of framing shutters.
To obtain wider or narrower light beams of the standard
objective, use the wide beam objective (40°) code
O/MINI 40, or the narrow beam objective (8°) code
O/MINI 08.
For the objective replacement release the knob ⑤
completely, insert the new objective, set and screw back
the knob ⑤ (see picture on page 2).
The O/MINI 08 objective can be xed having the most
rear hole for focusing adjustment on short distances,
and having the other hole for focusing adjustement on
large distances.
CLEANING
For the best results, it is important to ensure that both
the lens and the reector are kept clean.
To do so:
• Disconnect the unit from the mains:
• Open the luminaire top cover by loosening the knobs ②.
• Remove the objective ⑦.
• Remove the lamp and clean the lens and the reector
using a soft cloth dampened with alcohol.
• Insert the objective ⑦ in the relevant guides ④
• Insert the lamp and reinstall the luminaire cover by
tightening the knobs ②.
• Reconnect the luminaire to the mains.
MAINTENANCE
At least once a year, the luminaire should be serviced
to ensure the integrity of the electrical and mechanical
components. For this purpose, please address only to
qualied dealer to ensure proper service.
RECYCLING
The product must be recycled or disposed of,
according to Directive 2002/96/CE.
WARNING: For safety reasons, always disconnect
from the mains supply prior to opening the units
to change the lamp or servicing.
