When are the SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips available?The
SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips will be available to purchase
on 9th February 2022.
How much do SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips cost?
SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips are sold as a pair (set of
two) for $149 AUD
Are SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips sold individually or
in pairs?
Wireless Blips are sold as a pair. They have a single
identifiable serial number for each Blip.
Are SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips rechargeable?
No, SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips are not rechargeable.
How long do SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips last?
SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips have a battery life well
beyond 2 years. Our testing shows that depending on level
of use, batteries can last from 4 to more than 7 years.
Wireless Blips are built with new batteries that are able to
be dormant for several years between uses. Use the SRAM
AXS Mobile App to see battery levels for all SRAM AXS
components, including Wireless Blips.
Why can’t you recharge SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips?
In order to make the Wireless Blips as small as possible
and also pass IPX7 waterproof standards, we eliminated a
charging port.
How long is the warranty coverage for SRAM eTap AXS
Wireless Blips?
The warranty period for Wireless Blips is 2 years from
purchase date for the original owner, same as all SRAM
product. Warranty is not transferable for any used SRAM
product.

Are dead batteries covered within the two-year warranty for
SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips?
Yes. SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips are covered under a 2-
year warranty period, which includes batteries for this
product.
How do you mount SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips?
You can mount a Wireless Blip by using the Wireless Blip
bracket which clamps to a handlebar, directly to a handlebar
by using the included mounting tape, or underneath a
portion of handlebar tape when using drop bars.
Where can you mount SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips?
For traditional road or tri style handlebars, the eTap AXS
Wireless Blip remote shift buttons can be mounted to any
location on aero handlebars and extensions, drop
handlebars with aero extensions, or drop handlebars. They
can also be mounted to custom grips, alternate frame
mount locations, in a position that is most suitable for the
rider.

Can I mount SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips on a tandem in
the stoker position to shift the bike?
You can mount SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips anywhere on
your bike, even on a tandem.
How do I set up SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips to work
with my AXS groupset?
SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blip remote shift buttons must
be paired with the main controller(s) into the AXS System:
BlipBox, drop bar controllers, MTB controllers, or Zipp
VukaShift. For pairing instructions, consult the Pairing
section of the
user manual.
Do I need to use the AXS Mobile App to use SRAM eTap
AXS Wireless Blips?
Yes. Use the AXS Mobile App to set up Wireless Blips,
customize controls, and check battery life. All default
actions assigned at pairing can be customized in the AXS
App after the system has been paired.
How do I recycle SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips once
the batteries are dead?
SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips contain a non-replaceable
coin cell battery. Damaged or no longer functioning eTap
AXS Wireless Blips must be recycled or disposed of in
accordance with the applicable local, federal, and/or EU
regulations. Recycle the product in guidance with your
local electronics recycling program.
How do you know how much battery is left on an eTap
AXS Wireless Blip?
The SRAM AXS Mobile App will show the battery life of
the Wireless Blip, similar to eTap and eTap AXS shifter/
controller batteries.

Can I pair more than two SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips to
my bike?
You can pair up to six eTap AXS Wireless Blips (3 pairs) can
be connected into the system at once. A total number of 8
individual controllers can be used with the AXS system: this
can be six units (3 pairs) of Wireless Blips with drop bar
controllers, or 7 units of Wireless Blips paired to a BlipBox
(as the BlipBox counts as one controller).
Can I pair my SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips to more than
one bike at a time?
You can pair eTap AXS Wireless Blips to one bike at a time
only. SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips need to be paired into
the new AXS drivetrain when moved from bike to bike.
Can I use SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips with my
RockShox Reverb AXS seatpost?
No, the eTap AXS Wireless Blips are not compatible with
RockShox Reverb AXS seatposts. The Reverb AXS requires
a shift button that sends a constant signal while actuating
the post. The eTap AXS Wireless Blip do not feature
continuous press or multi-shift function which is required
for Reverb AXS.
Are SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips compatible with eTap
11-speed controls?
No. SRAM AXS components are only compatible with other
components in the SRAM AXS ecosystem. Refer to the AXS
Components Compatibility Map for compatibility
information.
Can SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips be used with Eagle
AXS derailleurs and Eagle AXS controllers?
Yes. As long a there is a primary controller in the system,
Wireless Blips can be paired to the MTB controller or a
BlipBox.
Which eTap AXS systems work with SRAM eTap AXS
Wireless Blips?
SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips work with SRAM RED eTap
AXS, Force eTap AXS, and Rival eTap AXS systems as well
as XX1 Eagle AXS, X01 Eagle AXS, and GX Eagle AXS
systems. All derailleurs in the AXS system simply need to be
updated to the latest firmware utilizing the AXS Mobile App
to enable Wireless Blip use.

Why don’t SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips have a battery
indicator status light?
To keep the size of the eTap AXS Wireless Blip incredibly
small, there are no indicator lights on the Wireless Blip.
Battery status is available by connecting to the AXS Mobile
App with your smartphone.
Are SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips waterproof
or sweatproof?
Yes, SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips have an IPX7
waterproof rating. Be sure to wipe or clean your Wireless
Blip if you are a prolific sweater.
Do SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips require any
maintenance?
No, SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips do not require
any maintenance.
Is the shift button of a Wireless Blip replaceable? Do you
have a crash replacement program if I crash my shifter
outside of warranty?
No, the shift button is not replaceable. The eTap AXS
Wireless Blip will need to be replaced if damaged.
Are the Wireless Blip clamps available separately so I
can swap them between bikes?
Yes, clamps for eTap AXS Wireless Blips will be available
separately for purchase.
