- Remove the packing and make sure that the appliance is intact. The appliance must be intact without
visible damages which could be caused by transport in case of doubt, do not use it and contact our After-
Sales service. Do not leave packaging materials like plastic bag, foam polystyrene, buttons and staples
within reach of children.
- Before connecting the appliance check if the electrical voltage and frequency of the circuit correspond to
those indicated on the appliance.
- Use the appliance only for the mentioned purpose, namely for heating for domestic use. Do not use it far
any other application as it could get dangerous. The manufacturer is not responsible for any eventual
damages caused by improper or faulty use.
- The use of every electrical appliance calls for the awareness of some basic rules, such as:
- Never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands or feel.
- Do not use extension cords in rooms with bath or shower unless you adopt particular prudence.
- Never unplug the appliance by pulling the power cord or the appliance and never expose the appliance
to atmospheric conditions (rain, sun, etc.)
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Before cleaning the appliance or carrying out any maintenance switch off the whole system or disconnect
the appliance.
- If the appliance malfunctions or is not working switch it off without tampering with it If any repair is
required please contact your local authorized service center and ask for original spare parts. Otherwise
safety of the appliance may be compromised.
- When the appliance is not in use switch it off and unplug it. Remove parts of the appliance which could be
handled hazardously by children for playing.
- To avoid overheating risks unwind the cord completely.
- Do not obstruct the ventilation or heating louver.
- Keep a minimum distance of 50 cm from walls and objects avoiding the air flow to be directed towards
them. Ensure that between the appliance and the wall corners there is a distance which is lower than 15
cm.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- Avoid warm contact and ensure that the cord is not in front of warm air outlet grill.
- Do not use the appliance near bath-tubs, showers, wash—basin or swimming pools (minimum distance I
meter).
- Use the appliance in horizontal position.
- Keep the exhaust grill clean. 20. Never install and use the appliance immediately below a fixed outlet.
- Do not use the appliance near liquids or inflammable matters.
OPERATION:
- Plug in the appliance. Check that the outlet has at least a 10 AMPERE current carrying capacity.
- Turn the thermostat knob in a clockwise direction.
- „cold air“: turn the knob to setting
- Heating at reduced power: turn the knob to setting I (1000 W).
- Heating at full power: turn the knob to setting II (2000 W).
- Switching off: turn the knob to setting 0.
When using the „cold air” ( ) function, the thermostat switch should be set to its maximum setting. The
thermostat switch can be used to set the ambient temperature of the room. In modes I and II, the appliance
will switch on when the ambient air temperature falls below the value set. As the set temperature is reached,
the fan and heating elements turn off. If you would like to set a higher temperature, turn the thermostat
switch clockwise, if you want to set it lower, then turn it counterclockwise. The power indicator light will
illuminate if the appliance is operating in mode I or II. If the thermostat switches the appliance off, the
indicator light will turn off. If you notice that the operation indicator light is on in mode I or II and the fan is
on but the appliance is not heating, the overheating protection has activated. Set the thermostat switch to
the “0” position then power off the unit by unplugging it from the electric outlet. Allow the appliance to cool
(for at least 30 minutes). Check whether the air inlets and outlets are obstructed or not, and clean them if
necessary. Switch on the unit again. If the overheating protection activates again, power off the unit by
