Riding a bicycle is associated with certain risks and increased hazards. To
minimize the risk, we recommend you to follow trafc rules, as well as to
comply with the basic safety requirements related to the specics of riding
a bicycle. It should be understood, however, that there are no precautions
that can eliminate all risks.
1. The cyclist must wear a helmet according to the trafc rules.
2. We strongly recommend the use of cycling gloves with a
palm pad. They will protect your palms from injury in case of
an accidental fall and provide a more secure grip on the
handlebars and reduce vibrations from the ground through the
bike fork to the handlebar. The latter is very important, even if
you have a bike with a suspension fork. Remember that
vibration in the hands can lead to repetitive stress injuries,
so-called «tunnel syndrome», which causes pain in the wrist
joints.
3. Do not ride a bicycle while listening to music or other audio
signals through headphones, doing so may impair your ability
to hear what is happening around you and quickly react. This
requirement is especially important when riding on public
roads. In many states, such riding is prohibited by law.
4. When riding on public roads, strictly follow all requirements
of the Road Trafc Regulations. Remember that a cyclist is a
full-edged participant in road trafc and, along with the legal
rights to drive on public roads, must follow the trafc rules.
5. Make sure your bike brakes are working effectively, and
always keep your bike in good mechanical condition.
1. Safety rules when using a bicycle
2. General driving rules
When braking, control the force without applying too much force
to the front brake. Use the same intensity when applying
both brakes, and if you just need to slow down, use the
rear brake only.
6. Watch out for potholes, ditches, and other dangerous
objects on the road. If you suddenly nd an obstacle on the
road, never go around it on the left. Remember, a driver in
a car behind you is often not able to change direction fast
enough to avoid a collision with a cyclist darting to the side.
7. Wear bright, noticeable clothes when riding a bicycle.
This will improve your visibility to other road users. Clear
cyclist visibility provides maximum opportunities for drivers
to pass cyclists in a safe manner. Clothing should not
hinder movement, nor should it be very loose, in order to
avoid entanglement in the moving parts of the bike:
sprockets, cranks, and spokes. We advise buying
specialized cycling clothing from shops.
8. It is strictly forbidden to dismantle the reector
(reectors) from bicycles, even if you rarely go on public
roads. The bike must have a white front reector, a red rear
reector, and yellow side reectors.
9. Cross rail or tram tracks only at right angles.
WARNING! The risk of injuries and accidents increases
with incorrect use of the bicycle. Also, misuse may lead to
malfunction of parts due to deterioration

Riding in rainy or wet conditions
Remember that brakes lose some of their effectiveness in wet
weather, so always keep this in mind when operating the
bicycle. It is also worth remembering that a wet road is more
slippery than a dry one, so when riding on a humid or wet road,
control your speed, avoid sudden maneuvers and hard braking.
Riding on rough terrain and in recreational areas
The growing popularity of the mountain bike as a cycling vehicle for off-
road riding creates additional requirements for cyclists operating on rough
terrain, including forest parks, recreation areas, ski and other sports tracks.
We strongly recommend you to follow these guidelines:
• Keep your eyes on the road and respond appropriately to other road
users, whether they are pedestrians, other cyclists or horse riders.
• Avoid conict situations, reduce speed when overtaking or passing with
other road users.
• Control your riding speed according to road conditions and your
experience. A modern off-road bike can accelerate downhill to 60 km/h or
more, which in rough terrain conditions can cause loss of control, falls and
serious injury. We strongly recommend that for any off-road riding, be sure
to wear a helmet and gloves, and in conditions of high-speed, also use a
set of additional body protection: elbow pads, knee pads, spine protection
(shell).
• Carry a set of tools for simple eld repairs (spare inner tube or bicycle rst
aid kit with patches and glue, pump, set of keys, spare brake pads, shift
and brake cables, chain wringer).
• For long autonomous trips outside populated places, make sure that the
trip is safe and that emergency contact with rescue services is possible. Try
not to go on long trips alone.
A modern bicycle has a rather complex construction, but in fact
it has not changed signicantly over two hundred years of its
history. There is a frame in the middle of the bike, on which all
parts of the bike are mounted. The main ones are listed below.

How to use the speed switch
WARNING! Switching speeds must be
carried out using switches (they are also
shifters) and only when the PEDALS are
rotated. Do not use the switches without
pedaling, even if the bike is in motion.
IMPORTANT: Failure to comply with
these rules will result in premature
stretching of the switch drive cables and
cannot be repaired under warranty. The
correct use of shifting is described below.
The combination of the largest rear gear and the smallest front gear (see
picture) is used for the steepest climbs. The combination of the smallest
rear gear and the largest front gear is used to achieve maximum speed. It
is not necessary to change gears sequentially. Choose the «starting gear»
that best suits your current level of training, i.e. a combination of gears
that is difcult to use for quick acceleration and jerk, but allows you to
start moving easily. Experiment with up and down gears until you can
freely shift them in any combination. First, practice shifting gears without
obstacles, or hazards, or any other vehicles. Learn to change gears in
advance, for example, before starting a steep climb. If you nd it difcult to
shift, the shift mechanism may not be properly adjusted. Contact your
authorized dealer for assistance.
WARNING! Never switch the drivetrain between the outer gears at a time.
Also do not use gear combinations «Top front (largest sprocket on the
crank arm) / Top rear (largest sprocket on the rear wheel)» or «Lower front
(smallest sprocket on the crank arm) / Lower rear (smallest sprocket on the
rear wheel)» and those close to them (see picture).
4. Battery operation
Battery Charging Instructions
Turn on the power by attaching connectors located on the battery.
The source of energy for the electric motor is a lithium-ion or lead-acid
battery, depending on the electric bike model conguration. Movement
is possible in several modes: 1) assistance in movement when pedaling
(Pass), 2) movement only due to rotation of the pedals, and 3) movement
only from the battery with control of the throttle stick (like a motorcycle).
The electric motor develops sufcient driving force; however, pedaling is
recommended when starting to move from a standstill, especially on an
uphill. Before using the e-bike, you need to charge the battery, even if the
button of the «battery status» indicator is pressed, the indicator shows a
full charge (see Charging instructions in this manual).
General charging requirements:
1. Charge the battery fully before rst use (Follow the charging instructions
in this manual).
2. Prevent accidental ingress of water into the battery.
3. Charge before storing. In winter, store the battery in a warm room, and
do not store at temperatures below 0C. Charge every 30 days when not in
use or when storing the e-bike during winter.
4. Charge the battery for 4-5 hours until the indicator on the charger
changes color from red to green.
5. Avoid deep discharge of the battery to zero while riding the electric bike.
6. For safety reasons, do not charge for more than 24 hours.
7. Turn off the power to the e-bike when not in use.

10 11
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS WILL VIOLATE
THE WARRANTY CONDITIONS AND MAY RESULT IN DAMAGE
TO THE ELECTRIC BIKE!
It is recommended to charge the battery after each ride. Please read the
following instructions carefully before charging. Attention! Use only the
original charger supplied with the e-bike to charge the battery. Do not use
the battery to supply power to any device other than the e-bike it came
with. Do not disassemble or modify the battery. To charge the battery,
connect the rounded end of the charger to the battery socket. The charger
must be switched off before connecting to the battery. Then plug it in. It is
recommended to switch off the charger after charging. The charging time
of the lithium-ion rechargeable battery can be up to 5-6 hours. To avoid
ingress of water, we recommend you to make it waterproof in special
services for the repair of electric vehicles or in the store from which you
purchased this e-bike.
Charger indicator lights
The charger has one or two indicators (depending on the charger model).
When the charger is connected to a discharged battery, the LED on the
charger will turn red. When the battery is fully charged, the LED will turn
green. For safety reasons, do not disconnect the power cord from the
battery and the mains while charging. It is necessary to charge the battery
until the indicator on the charger turns green.
Storing and transporting the battery
It is necessary to store the battery and the charger separately from each
other in a clean, dry and ventilated place away from re and heat, at an
ambient temperature of +5 to 25C and an air humidity of 40 to 60%. Avoid
contact with water. Once a month, even if you do not use your bike, is sure
to charge the battery with the standard charger for 4-5 hours until the
Winter storage of the battery
In winter store the lithium-ion battery in a cool, dry place with a temperature
of +5 to 25 degrees and a relative humidity of 40-60%, separate from the
bike. If you leave the battery on your bike, be sure to turn off the power.
During transportation, the battery should be packed in a box and should
not be exposed to impact, vibration and pressure. The packaged battery
can be transported in any vehicle, such as a car, plane, etc
green indicator appears on the charger. Attention: Using a non-standard
charger to charge the lithium-ion battery is PROHIBITED!

Electric bike washing and maintenance
1. Wash your bike with chemically neutral detergents (such as car
shampoos) and wipe with a dry cloth.
2. Use a grease or similar liquid motor oil to lubricate the chain, brake
cables, shift control cables, rear wheel caliper, steering wheel eccentric
clamps and front wheel.
3. When operating in climates with high humidity and frequent ingress
of water on the bike, it is recommended to lubricate more often. Never
lubricate wheel rims, brake pads or discs to avoid getting grease on the
working surfaces of the brakes
4. Never wash the electric bike using Karcher type high pressure washers.
Doing so will result in damage to the bike and will void the warranty. Use a
soft, damp cloth to clean the frame and accessories.
Range and riding modes
he range of an electric bike is not constant; it ranges from 30 km on an
electric motor without additional assistance, and up to 60 km (or more)
with active pedal assistance in economy mode. The mileage is inuenced
by the total mass (the weight of the electric bike, the weight of the rider, the
weight of the cargo carried on the trunk), the type of road surface (asphalt,
concrete, gravel, crushed stone, etc.), the terrain (uphill, downhill, plain),
wind speed and direction relative to the direction of travel (headwind,
or vice versa, tailwind), ambient air temperature (in cold weather, the
battery capacity decreases), the amount of battery charge, riding style (for
example, starting speed, braking intensity, etc.), tire pressure and so on.
Please take this information into account when traveling. When operating
solely on the power of the battery, you can reach a maximum speed of
up to 30 km / h. In a mixed cycle (the engine is running and you pedal
intensively), you can reach speeds of up to 35-45 km / h.
Brakes control, gear shifting, speed change knob
The rear brake lever is located on the left handlebar. The right handlebar
contains a Shimano shift mechanism and a front brake lever. Always start
braking with the rear brake. Slightly assist general braking with the front
brake.
5. Basic rules for using a bicycle
Attention! To avoid technical problems, you must adhere to the
following rules for using your bike:
1. Keep your bike clean. After riding in dusty, wet or muddy conditions, be
sure to wash your bike, paying particular attention to the cleanliness of
the chain, sprockets, derailleurs, telescopic suspension forks and wheel
hubs. It is permissible to wash the bike with a pressure washer, but avoid
directing the water ow into the area of the moving joints (steering column,
suspension joints, suspension fork oil seals, wheel bushings).
2. After washing the bike, as well as after riding in high humidity conditions,
be sure to wipe the chain and then lubricate. Use specialized bicycle chain
grease The greased chain should be left at rest for 10-15 minutes to let the
grease saturate the chain joints. Then you should wipe the chain down to
avoid the adhesion of dirt and dust. Never use other grease types for chain
lubrication (Litol, Tsiatim, etc.)
3. Do not immerse the bike in water to a depth higher than the middle of
the wheel; immersion of this sort may lead to damage from water getting
into the bearings of the hubs. If this happens, you need to visit a specialized
workshop as soon as possible, where a qualied bicycle mechanic will
recycle the bushings for new grease and remove the remaining water.
We also recommend that after “bathing” the bike, you make sure there is
no water between the tire and the rim. Fluid can enter there through the
spoke holes in the rims.

4. After 1-2 rides, or no later than 14 days after the purchase of the bike, you
must contact the service center for control maintenance. Subsequently, it
is recommended to carry out maintenance at least once a year. A visit to
the workshop is also necessary in case of issues with the bike components
during operation, such as: excessive play in the bottom bracket assembly,
steering column and wheel hubs, excessive play in the connecting rods
relative to the carriage axis, fuzzy and difcult gear shifting, crunches and
any other metal sounds when the bike moves, drop in brake performance;
and difcult bike control. Continued use of the bike with any of the above
malfunctions may result in further damage to other parts of the bike, as
well as possible injury to the bike operator.
5. Do not use the bike for other purposes. Remember that the bike
is designed for one person. Also remember that using the bike in a
competition with increased loads on the bike’s components may void your
manufacturer’s warranty support.
