•Allelectricalconnectionsmustbecarriedoutbyanauthorizedinstallerandinaccordancewith
localrulesandregulations.
•Whencarryingoutwork/serviceonthecoolingcircuit(s),thepowermustbedisconnected,andthe
workonlyperformedbyauthorisedpersonnel.
Warning
•Bewareofsharpedgesduringmountingandmaintenance.Useprotectiveclothing.
•Skincontactwiththerefrigerantmustbeavoided.Useprotectiveequipmentsuchasprotective
goggles,glovesandsuitableclothing.Goodventilationmustbearranged.
•Ifrefrigerantmakescontactwithskin,carefullywashtheexposedpartofthebody.
•Incaseoffrostbite,treatanydamagedskinareaandseekmedicaltreatment.
•Ifrefrigerantmakescontactwiththeeyes,immediatelyuseeyewashorlukewarmwaterandvisita
doctor.
•Astherefrigerantisheavierthanair,therefrigerantmaydisplacetheairandcauseasphyxiationin
unfavorableconditions.
Caution
•Forsafetyreasons,onlypersonnelwithrelevanttechnicalcompetencemayperforminstallationwork.
Theinstallationinstructionssuppliedmustbefollowed.
•TherefrigerantforthiscoolingunitisR410Aandcannotbereplacedwithanyothertypeofrefrigerant
withoutwrittenapprovalfromthesupplier.
•Serviceswitchesarelockedtopreventunauthorizedstart-upduringmaintenancework.Where
condensationwaterneedstobedrainedaway,correctconnectiontothedrainmustensurethis.The
installermustequiptheunitwithoperatingandmaintenanceinstructions.
•ThesesafetyregulationsonlyapplytoproductssuppliedbySystemairUAB.Itistheinstaller’s
responsibilitytocarryoutacomprehensivesafetyassessmentoftheunit,aswellaspreparing
safetyregulationssothatuserisabletosecuretheunitsuchthatitdoesnotcauseharmtopeople,
animals,materialorenvironment.Ifthereisanydoubtabouthowtointerprettheregulationscovering
safety,installation,operationandmaintenance,itisoftheutmostimportancethatadviceissought
fromSystemairUABoritsdistributors.

DVCompactDXRcomespre-lledwithR410A(50%R-32/50%R-125)refrigerant.
DVCompactDXRunitsbelongtothegroups“pieceunitscontainingmorethan3kgrefrigerantspercircuit“
and“equipmentthatcontainsuorinatedgreenhousegasesinquantitiesof5tonesofCO2equivalent
ormore”anditmustbecheckedforleaks.Leakagecontrolwithrecordkeepingshallbedoneonce
peryear.Refrigerantcontrolreportmustbealwaysestablishedbyacoolingcertiedpersonbefore
commissioningoftheunit.Anyquantitiesaddedorrecoveredduringmaintenance,servicingandnal
disposalwillneedtoberecordedalongwith:
•leakchecks
•actionstaken
•thenameoftheserviceCompany,theengineer/technicianwhoperformedtheservicingand
maintenance
•dates
•resultsofinspections
Theserecordshavetobemadeavailabletothecompetentauthorityuponrequest.Differentregulations
canbevalidindifferentcountries.Checkwithyourlocalgovernment.

6Transportationandstorage
TheDVCompactDXRshouldbestoredandtransportedinsuchawaythatitisprotectedagainstphysical
damagethatcanharmpanels,handlesetc.Itshouldbecoveredsothatdust,rainandsnowcannotenter
anddamagetheunitanditscomponents.Eachsectioniswrappedinplasticcontainingallnecessary
components.
Warning
Theunitisheavy.Becarefulduringtransportandmounting.Riskofinjurythroughpinching.Use
protectiveclothing.
DVCompactDXRunitmustbeprotectedfromtheweatherandaccidentalimpact.Plasticpackagingmust
beremovedandunitcoveredwithtarpaulinorsimilarmaterials.Inordertominimizecondensation,
sufcientaircirculationmustbeensuredbetweenthecoveringandtheunit.Duringtransportationtheunit
mustbeintheuprightposition.
Note:
Necessarypartslikecontrolpanel,smokesensor,handles,mountingfeet,drainagepipewithdraintrap
andelectricalsafetyswitchareplacedlooselyinsidetheunit.Theunitmustnotbeputintooperation
beforetheenclosedpartsareremovedandinstalledproperly.
6.1Unloadingonthesite
Theairhandlingunit–AHU-isdeliveredasonesectionorinseveralsections,whicharetobeassembled
onsite.TheAHUisdeliveredontransportpallets,legsoronabaseframe.Loadingandunloadingaswell
astransportonthesiteispossiblebyfork-lifttruckorbycraneusingsuitableliftingstraps.
Important
Makesurethattheupperpartoftheunitwillnotbedamagedbystraps.
6.1.1Unloadingbyfork-lifttruck
TheforksofthetruckmustbesufcientlylongtoavoidanydamagetotheAHUunderside.

AHUdeliveredwithlegsmustbeliftedbystrapssecuredtothelegsasshownintheillustration.

Whenliftingtheunitmountedonthebaseframewithholes,usemetaltubesinsertedthroughtheholesin
theframeandsuspendtheunitbysoftcables.
