LimbSling is designed to comfortably and conveniently assist lifting of a patient’s leg or arm, for example, when dressing
sores. The sling is applied by placing it under the limb and connecting the strap loops to the slingbar. This model is
manufactured in disposables.
LimbSling is one of a series of different sling models. The choice of model and material is determined by the patient’s
functional capacity and the situations in which the product is to be used.
RoMedic’s slings and lifts are part of the SystemRoMedic concept, which takes a holistic approach to patient transfers.
SystemRoMedic has four categories of transfers: transfer, repositioning, support and lifting.
Visual inspection
Check the condition and function regularly. LimbSling must not be used if it has been laundered. Check to ensure that
the fabric is not worn, damaged or bleached. If there are signs of wear, the product must be discarded.
Read instructions for all assistive devices used in connection with transfers.
To prevent discomfort and the risk of the patient sliding out of the sling, exercise care and caution when using lifting
devices.
The LimbSling is only intended for lifting one arm or one leg at a time.
Before lifting, ensure that the lift straps are correctly connected to the slingbar.

Application of LimbSling under one leg:
Apply the LimbSling by placing your hand at the edge of the sling and guiding it under the limb that is to be lifted.
Pull it out on the opposite side and connect the strap loops to the slingbar.
Start raising the lift, and then stop to ensure that everything is as it should be before lifting to the desired position.

Non-Vowen, polyester.
Care of the product:
Read the product label.
Do not launder. Discard the product if it is soiled or if there is a need to use another product.
