IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
KEEP AWAY FROM WATER
Electricity and water are a dangerous combination and can
cause death by electric shock. Do not allow electrical cords to
come into contact with water or other liquids.
ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES ARE ELECTRICALLY LIVE WHEN
PLUGGED IN, EVEN IF TURNED OFF.
To reduce the risk of death by electric shock:
1. Always unplug the appliance immediately after using.
2. Do not use while bathing.
3. Do not place or store the appliance where it can fall or be
pulled into a bath tub or sink.
4. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
5. If the appliance falls into water, unplug it immediately.
Do not reach into the water.

To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire or injury to

1. An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
2. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or

they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
3. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this
manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by
the manufacturer.
4. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug,
if it is not working properly, or if it has been dropped, damaged,
or dropped into water. Return the appliance to a service center
for examination and repair.
5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. Do not wrap the
cord around the appliance. If the supply cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
6. Never use while sleeping.
7. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
8. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products
are being used or where oxygen is being administered.

9. Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.
10.This styling tool is hot when in use. Do not let eyes and bare
skin touch heated surfaces.
11. Burn hazard. Keep appliance out of reach from young children,
particularly during use and cool down;
12. Do not place the heated styling tool directly on any surface
while the wand is hot or plugged in. Always place the appliance
with the stand or on a heat-resistant, stable flat surface.
13. Before plugging in, read the information about world voltage
contained in the Operating Instructions section of this manual.
14.When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use
since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the
appliance is switched off;
15. for additional protection, the installation of a residual current
device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not
exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying
the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
Do not use the appliance near a bath tub, washbasin
or other vessel filled with water. Never place the
appliance in water or any other liquid.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Your appliance is virtually maintenance free. It contains no
user serviceable parts and no lubrication is needed.
2. Keep heated surface clean and free of dust, dirt and
hairspray.
3. If cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect the appliance
from the power source and let it cool. Wipe the exterior with a
damp cloth.
4. If any malfunction occurs, unplug the appliance, allow it to
cool and return it to a service center for repair.
5. Never wrap the cord around the appliance since this will
cause the cord to wear prematurely and break. Store the cord
loosely coiled. If the cord becomes twisted, untwist it prior to
use.
6. Handle the cord carefully for longer life and do not put any
stress on the cord where it enters the handle. Avoid jerking,
twisting or straining, especially at the plug connections. This
could cause the cord to fray and possibly break.
7. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.
STORAGE
When not in use, your styling tool should be disconnected and
stored in a safe, dry location, out of the reach of children. Do not
wrap the cord around the styling tool. Allow the cord to hang or
lie loose and straight at the point of entry into the styling tool.

SERVICING OF DOUBLE-INSULATED APPLIANCES
In a double-insulated appliance, two systems of insulation are
provided instead of earthing. No earthing means is provided on
a double-insulated appliance, nor should a means for earthing
be added to the appliance.
Servicing a double-insulated appliance requires extreme care
and knowledge of the system, and should be done only by
qualified service personnel.
Replacement parts for double-insulated appliances must be
identical to the parts they replace. A double-insulated appliance
is marked with the words “DOUBLE INSULATION” or “DOUBLE
INSULATED”. The symbol (square within a square) may also be
marked on the appliance.
CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THIS PRODUCT
This marking indicates that this product should not be
disposed with other household wastes throughout the EU.
To prevent possible harm to the environment or human
health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it
responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material
resources. To return your used device, please contact the
retailer where the product was purchased or your local
authority to find out how this can be disposed of.

This appliance is intended for household use.
Use on Alternating Current (50-60 Hz).
• Do not let the heated curling barrel or barrel tip touch your
skin as you may get burnt.
• Make sure to remove the plug from the outlet after use.
• Do not use if the plug is loose in the outlet as there may be
risk of fire, electric shock, electrical shortage and burning.

AUTO SHUTOFF
After approximately one hour, the unit will automatically shut
itself off. To reactivate the unit, turn the Power & Temperature
switch once to the right.
AUTO WORLD VOLTAGE
This appliance contains a special electronic circuit that
automatically converts it for worldwide usage from 100-240VAC,
50-60 Hz. Just plug it into the local outlet and use it as normal;
the styler will automatically adjust to the local current. You may
need an adapter to allow the plug to fit into the local outlets,
however.

Turn the Power & Temperature Switch
to the right once to turn the tool on.
Lights will cascade, then turn solid
when the unit is ready to use.
To turn the tool off, turn the Power &
Temperature Switch to the right and
hold for 2 seconds. The lights will
cascade to the left and turn off.
To change the temperature*, turn the
Power & Temperature Switch to the
right again. Continue to turn the switch
to cycle through the temperature
settings.
Release the Power & Temperature
Switch after reaching your desired
temperature. The selected
temperature light(s) will blink, and
lights will cascade left or right to
your selected temperature. Wait for
the lights to turn solid before using
the tool.
NOTE: Each time you turn on this styling tool, it will heat up to your
last set temperature.

settings.
To reactivate the unit, turn the Power & Temperature switch once to
the right.

compatibility. This guarantee does not affect your statutory
warranty rights as a consumer in relation to the products,
including where the products are faulty or misdescribed. To

your warranty claim. You may transfer our guarantee to a person
who has acquired your T3 product, though we may require
that person to provide reasonable evidence that they are now
the owner of the product, for example by providing proof of
purchase. This guarantee only applies to genuine T3 Micro, Inc.
products purchased through T3 authorized retailers and does
not cover products repaired or serviced by anyone other than T3
representatives.
Only genuine T3 products are eligible for warranty. In order to
be eligible for our warranty, please check for the silver T3 serial
number sticker. If the silver T3 serial number sticker is missing or
damaged in any way, please do not purchase this item or return
this item for a refund as it may not be genuine. Warranties can

10. Ce fer à coiffer devient chaud pendant son utilisation. Tenir les
surfaces chaudes loin des yeux et de la peau.
11. Risque de brûlure. Garder l’appareil hors de la portée des jeunes
enfants, en particulier lorsqu’il est allumé ou en train de refroidir.
12. Ne pas placer l’appareil chaud ou branché directement sur une
surface. Toujours le placer sur son support ou sur une surface plane,
stable et résistante à la chaleur.
13. Avant de brancher l’appareil, lire l’information sur la compatibilité
internationale dans la section sur le mode d’emploi du présent
manuel.
14. Lorsque l’appareil est utilisé dans une salle de bain, le débrancher
après l’utilisation, car la proximité de l’eau présente un danger même
quand l’appareil est éteint;
15. Pour une protection accrue, il est conseillé d’ajouter un disjoncteur
différentiel à courant résiduel d’au plus 30 mA au circuit électrique de

1. L’appareil n’exige presque aucun entretien. Il ne comporte
aucune pièce pouvant être réparée par l’utilisateur, et aucune
lubrification n’est nécessaire.
2. Garder la surface chaude exempte de poussière, de saleté et
de fixatif.
3. Si l’appareil a besoin d’être nettoyé, le débrancher de la
source d’alimentation et le laisser refroidir. Essuyer l’appareil
avec un linge humide.
4. En cas de fonctionnement inhabituel, débrancher l’appareil,
le laisser refroidir, puis le confier à un centre d’entretien pour
réparation.
5. Pour éviter l’usure précoce ou la rupture du cordon, ne
jamais l’enrouler autour de l’appareil. Ranger le cordon en
l’enroulant sans serrer. Si le cordon s’entortille, le détortiller
avant de l’utiliser.
6. Manipuler le cordon avec précaution pour qu’il dure
longtemps et n’exercer aucune pression à l’endroit où il entre
dans le manche. Éviter de tirer brusquement sur le cordon,
d’exercer une pression sur celui-ci ou de le tordre, surtout
près de la fiche de raccordement. Le cordon pourrait s’user,
voire se rompre.
7. Ne pas essayer de réparer l’appareil.
RANGEMENT
Lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé, le fer à coiffer doit être débranché et
rangé dans un endroit sûr, sec et hors de la portée des enfants.
Ne pas enrouler le cordon d’alimentation autour du fer à coiffer.
Laisser pendre le cordon à partir de son point d’entrée dans le
fer à coiffer.

ENTRETIEN DES APPAREILS À DOUBLE ISOLATION
Les appareils à double isolation sont dotés de deux systèmes au
lieu d’une mise à la masse. Aucune mise à la masse n’est fournie
sur un appareil à double isolation, et aucune ne doit être ajoutée
à l’appareil.
La réparation d’un appareil à double isolation requiert un soin
particulier et une bonne connaissance du système, et ne doit
être confiée qu’à du personnel qualifié.
Les pièces de rechange des appareils à double isolation doivent
être identiques aux pièces qu’elles remplacent. Un appareil à
double isolation porte la mention « DOUBLE ISOLATION ». Un
carré double peut également figurer sur l’étiquette de l’appareil.

ARRÊT AUTOMATIQUE
Après environ une heure de fonctionnement continu, l’appareil
s’éteint automatiquement. Pour le rallumer, appuyer sur
l’interrupteur-sélecteur de température.
COMPATIBILITÉ INTERNATIONALE AUTOMATIQUE
Cet appareil contient un circuit électronique qui convertit
automatiquement la tension de 100-240VAC, 50-60 Hz. Il suffit
de le brancher dans la prise et de l’utiliser comme d’habitude. Il
s’ajustera automatiquement au courant distribué. Toutefois, un
adaptateur peut s’avérer nécessaire pour brancher la fiche dans
la prise.
