Observe allterminalratings.Donot applyavoltagetoanyinput that exceedsthemaximum ratingof that
input. Refer to the bodyof theinstrument for maximum input ratings.
Use onlythe powercordshippedwiththe instrument andcertified for the countryof use.
Keepproduct surfacescleananddry. SeeCleaning.
Donot remove thecoversorinside parts.Referallmaintenancetoqualifiedservicepersonnel.

Cooling
Theinstrument relieson forced air cooling with internalfansandvents. Take careto avoid restrictingthe
airflow toanypart. Inabenchtopconfiguration,leavea minimum of 15cm (6inches) aroundthesides
betweentheinstrument andthenearest object.Thefeet provideadequatebottom clearance.Follow
rackmount instructionsfor proper rackspacing.
Caution:Donot blockthecoolingvents.
Theinstrument alsohasinternalfancontrolcircuitrythat regulatesthefanspeedbasedontheambient
temperature. This isperformedautomatically after start-up.
Cleaning
Clean onlythe exterior of the instrumentusing asoft cloth moistened with water or anisopropylalcohol
solution. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive elements. Under nocircumstancessubmergethe
instrument or allow moisture to penetrate it. Dry thoroughlybeforeconnectinga live voltagesource.
Caution:Unplugthepowercordbeforecleaning.Donot attempt tocleaninternalparts.
