A - SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Important: Your camera is frequently updated,
and the list of the available features offered by
the camera and its application is sure to grow. We
encourage you to update the application regularly
and to check updates to these instructions in order to
enjoy all the features.
1 - OPERATING PRECAUTIONS
• The cameras must not be installed where the
lens lter may be vulnerable to scratching and
dirt.
• Do not allow children to operate the product.
• When drilling, take care not to damage pipes
or electric cables under the surface.
• Do not expose the lens to direct sunlight or any
reected light source.
• Do not install near acidic chemicals, ammonia
or sources of toxic gases.
• The camera uses high-precision motors; do not
manually move the camera’s horizontal motor.
• The installation and use of the camera must
comply with local laws.
2 - MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Disconnect from the mains before carrying out
any work on the system.
• Never use abrasive or corrosive substances to
clean the products.
• Use a soft, slightly damp cloth.
• Never use an aerosol to spray the product as
this may damage the internal workings.
3 - RECYCLING
This logo denotes that devices no
longer in use should not be disposed of
as household waste.
They are likely to contain hazardous substances that
are dangerous to both health and the environment.
Return the equipment to your local distributor or use
the collection service provided by your local council.
Disposing of used batteries in household waste
is strictly forbidden. Batteries/accumulators
containing harmful substances are marked with
symbols (shown opposite) which indicate that it is
forbidden to discard them in the household waste.
The corresponding heavy metals are referred to as
follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. You
can dispose of these used batteries/accumulators
at local waste treatment centres (centres for sorting
recyclable materials), which are required to accept
them. Keep batteries / button cells / accumulators
out of reach of children and store them in a
safe place not accessible to them. They could be
swallowed by children or pets. May be fatal if
swallowed! In the event that a battery is swallowed,
consult a doctor or go to A&E immediately. Never
short-circuit the batteries and do not burn or
recharge them. They may explode!

C - INSTALLATION
1 - INSTALLING THE CAMERA
The camera is designed to be mounted on the wall
at a minimum height of 1.6 m.
160cm
The camera can be installed in the place of an
existing light xture. It requires connection to phase
(L) and neutral (N) conductors and earth (yellow/
green safety conductor)
Loosen the screw under the camera, using the key
provided, to remove the camera from its wall base.
The connection terminal block is unscrewed to
release the camera. To make installation easier,
unscrew the 2 screws so that only the base remains.
Mount the camera’s base using screws and wall
plugs suitable for the type of supporting surface
(the screws and plugs included are suitable for solid
walls).
A drilling template is provided to facilitate
installation. If the surface of the wall is uneven,
insert the provided sealing foam between the wall
and wall base.
2 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
WARNING: for obvious safety reasons, the power
supply must be switched off during installation
(circuit breaker in OFF position).
Thread the power cable through the base of the
camera, then connect as follows:

Connect and then screw the camera’s connector
back onto the base, then relock the camera onto its
base using the key provided
3 - OPTIONAL: INSERTING A MICROSD CARD
To record, the camera requires a microSD card (not
included) with a capacity of up to 128 GB.
Tilt the mobile part of the camera upwards to
access the slot.
Hold the camera in place using the recessed notch,
then remove the 2 screws to access the slot
Reset
Insert the microSD card into its slot and reinsert
the screws.
4 - CAMERA START-UP
Download the At Home Security app from the
Appstore or Google Play, and launch the app on
your smartphone.
Tap Connexion au compte (Sign in) then Inscription
(Register) to create a free account.
Warning: during the procedure, the application
will ask you to allow access to your location.
This request is in no way related to
your geographic position, or GPS: the
application only uses this permission to read
your WiFi network’s name, which it sends to
your camera. Please accept to continue
camera set-up.

Enter a valid email address and create a password.
An email will be sent to you containing a code that
you must enter into the app to nish creating your
account. The code is valid for 30 min. If you do not
receive it immediately, check your spam folder or
restart the process.
Next, tap the + button to add your camera to your
account. You must scan the QR Code located on
the side of the camera.

The camera should be powered on at this stage.
Switch the power off and back on, if needed. As
your camera has not been congured yet, tap on
Réinitialisation réussie (Successful Reset) to continue.
The camera starts up and plays a tune (two sets of
ve notes), indicating that it is ready to continue.
Enter the SSID (name) of the WiFi network to which
the camera will need to be connected, followed by
its key (password). Click Suivant [Next] to continue.
IMPORTANT: This device is compatible with 2.4 GHz
- WPA/WPA2 networks. Not compatible with 5 GHz
WiFi or with WEP encryption. Please check the WiFi
settings of your router or contact your Internet service
provider if you experience connection difculties.
The smartphone will play a melody that must be
played back to the camera. The camera will beep
once when it recognises the message sent. Then tap
Continuer (Continue).
The camera connects to your WiFi network and then
to the Internet. Once your app has detected that
your camera is online, you will be asked to name
your camera so it can be recognised more easily.
Pairing is now complete.

C - INSTALLATION
The rst time you connect to the camera, you will be
asked to change your password, for better security,
and to update your camera if the rmware is out of
date. Accept this, if applicable.

You account settings. Among the available
settings, you will see how to activate “ne pas
déranger” (do not disturb) mode, which disables
all app notications (without affecting the camera’s
conguration).

To access movement detection settings, go to the
relevant settings page as shown above.

3 - SETTING SILHOUETTE AND
AUTOTRACKING
Your camera is able to detect silhouettes, reliably
ltering out any plant or animal movements and
only warning you if necessary.
To access silhouette detection settings, go to the
relevant settings page as shown above.

only shapes that perfectly resemble a human
silhouette within the camera’s eld of vision will
trigger an alert. If sensitivity is high, any shape that
more or less resembles a silhouette will trigger an

Important:
• If you would like to activate smartphone notications
as well, go to the Paramètres push (Push Settings)
menu to do so.
• When you activate autotracking, the camera’s
current position is saved. This is then considered the
default position. From this point on:
- If a silhouette is detected, the camera will
track this silhouette left or right using its motor.
- After 30 seconds pass without detection, the
camera returns to its default position explained
above and goes back to waiting.
• For maximum effectiveness, the camera needs
to be able to see nearly the entire silhouette of
people within its eld of vision. At distances closer
than 3 m, silhouette detection and autotracking are
less effective.
• You can also control the siren and lighting from the
live view; see the LIVE VIEW section below.
4 - LIGHTING SETTINGS
To access lighting settings, go to Paramètres
avancés (Advanced Settings) and then Réglage de
la lumière (Light Settings).

• When starting up, the camera saves its approximate
geographic location. It uses this to calculate sunrise
and sunset times based on the date. You can use this
information to program your lighting (example: 10
min after sunset until 10 pm), as shown below:

When you want to indicate specic on/off times for
lighting, scroll through the times here to use sunrise
or sunset times instead of set hours.

You can then use this time for turning lights on or
off. The time difference at the right is expressed in
minutes and can be set to between -120 and +120
minutes. For example: if you choose Sunset -10, the
actual triggering time will be 10 minutes before the
sun sets, and the exact time this occurs will change
day to day.

You can access the live video from your camera by
clicking on its thumbnail from the app’s homepage:

• In the ON position (light bulb symbol on), the
lights are forced to turn on, regardless of the
ambient light or programming set up
• In the OFF position (light bulb symbol off), the
lights are forced to remain off
• In the AUTO position, the various programming
set up is applied

Siren control:
• In the AUTO position, movement detection
triggering will be applied (if requested to do so in
the alert settings)
• In the ON position, the siren is triggered
immediately
6 - USING THE PRODUCT WITH GOOGLE
HOME
Your Rheita camera is compatible with Google
Home. The name Google Home will use to discover
your camera can be congured in your camera’s
settings, in the Paramètres avancés (Advanced
Settings) section.
For example, you can use the following commands:
“OK Google, put the video from the garden camera
on the living room TV”
“OK Google, turn on garden camera”
“OK Google, turn off garden camera”
To show the live video, you will need to have
a Chromecast (named “Living room TV” in this
example) or similar device set up.
For more information on device names or creating/
linking a room, please consult Google support.
In order to avoid unwanted commands, if you
connect several devices in one area, we recommend
that you avoid using a group name suggested by
Google Home (bedroom, ofce, living room, etc.)
when naming your control module.
In the event of problems with the Google Home
application or conguration of the device in Google
Home, contact Google support.
The setting up procedure depends on your
smartphone and requires an Internet connection:
The following information may vary depending on
updates to the Google Home app or your operating
system.
If you have an Android smartphone with Google
Assistant:
Your camera need to be linked to the At Home
Security app in order to be controlled by the
Google Assistant. It must be connected to the same
WiFi network.
• On your Android phone or tablet, press and hold
the home button or say “OK Google”.
• In the bottom right corner, press
• Press the icon at the upper right, then Paramètres
(Settings), Assistant (Assistant) and then Contrôle de
la maison (Home Control).
• In the “Devices” tab, press Ajouter des appareils
(Add devices).
• Select the At Home Security app and follow the
instructions.
• Then enter the username and password for your
At Home Security account to authorise the Google
Assistant to add and interact with your camera.
• Your product is now connected in Google Assistant.
Two new devices were detected: the lighting control
and the camera. Rename them at your convenience.
If you have an Android smartphone or iPhone
without the Google Assistant
Your camera need to be linked to the At Home
Security app in order to be controlled by the
Google Assistant. It must be connected to the same
WiFi network.
• On your Android tablet or phone, install and launch
the Google Home app and log in to the relevant
account for your Google Home speaker.
• In the bottom right corner, press Compte (Account)
• Press Congurer ou ajouter (Congure or add),
Congurer un appareil (Set up a device) and Vous
avez déjà conguré des appareils? (Have you already
set up devices?)
• Select the At Home Security app and follow the
instructions.
• Then enter the username and password for your
At Home Security account to authorise the Google
Assistant to add and interact with your camera.

• Your product is now connected to the Google
Assistant, and you can use voice control with it.
7 - USING WITH ALEXA
Your Rheita camera is compatible with Alexa. The
name Alexa will use to discover your camera can
be congured in your camera’s settings, in the
Paramètres avancés (Advanced Settings) section.
For example, you can use the following commands:
“Alexa, put the video from the garden camera on the
living room TV”
To show the live video, you will need to have an
Amazon FireTV (named “Living room TV” in this
example) or Alexa speaker with a screen set up.
Download and install the Amazon Alexa app from
the Play Store or Apple store. Your devices need
to be paired in the At Home Security app to be
controlled with the Amazon Assistant. They must be
connected on the same WiFi network.
• In the Amazon Alexa app, press the menu at the
top left and select Skills et Jeux (Skills and Games).
• Search for At Home Security
• Select the At Home Security skill and Activer pour
utilisation (Activate for Use).
• Then enter the username and password for your
At Home Security account to authorise Alexa to add
and interact with your camera.
• The application then asks you if it can discover
devices. You need to accept for your camera to
appear in the list of devices recognised by Alexa.
You can also ask your Echo speaker to start a search
by saying “Alexa, discover devices”. Two separate
new devices were detected: the lighting and the
camera itself. Rename them at your convenience.
For more information on Amazon Alexa, please
consult Amazon support.
In order to avoid unwanted commands, if you connect
several modules in one area, we recommend that
you avoid using a group name suggested by Alexa
(bedroom, ofce, living room, etc.) when naming
your control module. In the event of a problem with
the Amazon Alexa app or with setting up the device
in Amazon Alexa, please contact Amazon support.
8 - RESET
If there is a problem, the camera can be reset to its
default values by pressing the “Reset” button in the
microSD card slot for 10 seconds.
Doing this also deletes the link between the camera
and the At Home Security account, making it ready
to set back up.

2 - WARRANTY
This product is guaranteed for parts and labour for
2 years from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase
must be retained for the duration of the warranty
period. The warranty does not cover damage
caused by negligence, knocks, or accidents. This
product must not be opened or repaired by any
persons not employed by AVIDSEN. The warranty
will be void if the device is tampered with.
3 - ASSISTANCE AND ADVICE
• If, despite the care we have taken in designing
our products and drafting these instructions, you
do encounter difculties when installing your
product or you have any questions, we urge you
to contact one of our specialists who will be glad
to help.
• If you encounter operating problems during
the installation or a few days afterwards,
it is essential that you are in front of your
installation when contacting us, so that one of
our technicians can diagnose the source of the
problem, as it will probably be the result of a
setting that is incorrect or an installation that is
not to specication. If the problem is caused by
the product itself, the technician will give you an
RMA number so that you can return the unit to
the shop.
Without this RMA number, the shop may refuse to
exchange your product.
