The GRKST04 installaon kit allows for the retenon of the vehicle’s steering wheel controls and helps maintain
the original aesthec of the interior when installing a new car stereo. The GRKST04 gives you everything you
need for a complete install in one box. The components of this kit are compable for the Seat Ibiza (6P, 2015-
2017) & Leon (5F, 2012-2015) with MIB II systems. The wiring harness and interface will retain the steering
wheel controls and factory phone buons (if vehicle is equipped). It also helps retain vehicle sengs, parking
sensor graphics and climate control visualisaon which would have been lost with a regular installaon kit. The
interface supplied features a Quadlock connector.


Installaons should be carried out by, or under the guidance of an experienced installer. If you do encounter any

1. Use a panel removal tool to release the plasc trim that surrounds the main display and air vents.
2. With the brackets now aached to the fascia plate, proceed to feed the new stereo in between the
brackets. Adjust in accordance to the front of the fascia panel and screw into place with the provided 4x
at ended bolts.
3. Once the “Stereo Installaon” process is complete, push the stereo into the dashboard, and complete
the installaon by placing the original fascia trim over top and reassembling the dashboard in reverse
order.
2. Using a set of radio release keys (or a pick tool), undo the 4x spring clips holding the main display into
place and remove it completely whilst disconnecng all of the wiring.
1. Using the 4x phillips screws within the kit, aach the brackets to the appropriate sides of the new fascia
plate.
3. Again, using a set of radio release keys (or a pick tool), head into the glovebox and undo the 2x spring
clips holding the main head unit into place and remove it completely whilst disconnecng all of the wiring.
Note: at this point, any/all wiring will need to be re-directed over to the main display aperture, ready
for the installaon of the new head unit.
7. Aach the antenna adapter to the vehicles pre-exisng connecon and the back of new stereo.
2. Take the steering wheel control interface and aach the 14-way steering wheel harness connector to
the relevant side.

3. Make a cut within the orange and purple loops on the back of the patch lead connector. Then proceed
to aach ‘Key 1’ to the light blue ‘SWC Remote’ wire on the stereo. When done, connect the 12-way
connector to the steering wheel control interface.
4. Aach the 4-way camera extension harness to the steering wheel control interface.
5. Connect the male yellow RCA to the ‘reverse camera input’ on the back of the new stereo.
1. Take the interface and set the dipswitches accordingly (note that these are default to o):

6. Connect the aermarket reverse camera (if required) to the female yellow RCA on the camera extension
harness.
Note: ensure the ‘Camera Connected’ opon in the ‘Preferences’ menu is set to ‘Yes’ for the camera to
funcon correctly.

In addion, the ‘Driving Mode’ buon can be used as normal. The graphic for the mode will be shown on
the new stereo’s display. Also, the ‘Park Assist’ buon can be used as normal to acvate/deacvate park
assist. Again, the graphic for this mode will be show on the new stereo’s display.
*Note: pressing and holding MUTE or VOICE may acvate the voice assistant (e.g. SIRI) in some vehicles.
If this occurs, double press the buon instead.
- Short press MUTE  or SPEECH  to enter a sub-menu or conrm an opon within a menu.
- Long press MUTE  or SPEECH  to return to the previous menu.
- Press TRACK + to scroll up through the menu items, or to increment an opon within a menu.
- Press TRACK - to scroll down through the menu item, or to decrement an opon within a menu.



8. Aach the addional wiring on the harness to the back of the stereo:
- Speed Pulse  - Park Brake  - Reverse Grey - Mute
9. When all the above wires (and any addional accessories) have been connected, nally make the power
connecons between the stereo and the vehicles pre-exisng connector.

Press and hold (or double press)  or
to enter into the conguraon menu.
From here you will then be able to use the
steering wheel controls to navigate through
the various opons and sengs below.

This interface retains the ability to adjust
selected vehicle sengs* on the new stereo
that were present when the original head unit
was installed.
The opons available will depend on the
individual vehicle and system specicaon.
These might include lights, locks, mirrors, me
& date and much more.
*See the vehicle handbook for more informaon
regarding these features and how they operate.

These sengs allows you to edit the layout/
look of the menu screens. These opons
include:

Change the horizontal and vercal screen size/
posion to align on the new stereo display.

Adjust the brightness, contrast and colour
saturaon.

Change opons based on vehicle funconality
and specicaon (see page 6).
