Mountingthe
BrushBrackets
GreensmasterFlexModelsonly
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface,engage
theparkingbrake,removethekey(ifequipped),
disconnectthebattery,andshutoffthemachine.
2.Removetheboltandwashersecuringtheleft
endofthefrontframetothetabontopofthe
cuttingunit(Figure1).

Note:Ensurethatthebrushspringismounted
withthebumptotheoutside.Thebrushrod

rotatedupward,intothestorageposition.

1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface,engage
theparkingbrake,removethekey(ifequipped)
andshutoffthemachine.
2.Removethe2boltsandwasherssecuringthe
grassbasketmountingrodtotheleftsideplate
(Figure4).Discardtheboltsbutretainthe
washers.

(M8).PositionthetabsasshowninFigure
7.Usetheouterholesforinstallationona21
inchcuttingunitandtheinnerholesfor18inch
cuttingunit.
Note:Thebrushbristlesarecutatanangle.
Mountthebrushsothelongerbristlesare
closesttothemachinewhenmowing.

brushtabwith2angeheadbolts(M6x20mm)
andangenuts(M6)(Figure7).

levelitbylooseningthejamnuts,rotatingthe
adjustmentscrewstothedesiredpositionand
tighteningthejamnuts.
Note:Theendsofthebrushbristlesshouldbe
atonthegroundduringthemowingoperation.
Ifthebrushhopsduringoperation,rotatethe
brushsothatonlythefrontbristlestouchthe
surfaceandtherearbristlesarelessthan1/2
inchabovethesurface.
5.Rotatethebrushupwardandsecuretherods
intothebrushspringswhenthebrushisnot
required.
