3.Shutoffthemachineandremovethekey.
4.Waitfortheenginetocoolcompletely(ifapplicable).
5.Disconnectthenegative(-)batterycablefromthebatterypost.

Procedure
Gatherthepartsthatyouneedtoinstallthehourmetertoyourmachine(Figure1).
Toinstallthehourmetertotheinsideofthemachine,use3cableties.Toinstallthehourmeterintothe
machinewall,use1mountassemblyanditsfasteners.
Note:Therearclipmountisnotrequiredformostapplications.

Cuttingormodifyinganypartofthemachine
maydamagehiddenwiresand/orobjects.
Damagedwiresand/orobjectscouldimpede
thefunctionandsafetyofthemachine,
resultinginpossibleinjuryorevendeath.
Ensurethatinstallingthehourmeterdoesnot
impedeorinterferewiththenormaloperation
ofthemachine.
1.Determinetheinstallationlocationforthe
wirelesshourmeterbaseduponapplication
(e.g.,inthemachinewall).
2.Inspectbehindtheareathatyouwishtoinstall
thehourmetertoensurethattherearenowires
orotherobjectspresent.
3.Cutaholeinthemachinetocreateenoughroom
forthehourmeterandthemountassembly.
4.Connectthewirelesshourmeterconnectorto
themachinewireharnessconnector(Figure2).
