modelyear2018oroldertractionunits,youmust
rstinstallkitModelNo.139-6479.
•Ifyouareinstallingthiskitonanew,dieselor
eTriextractionunitwithoutaseat,removethe2
carriagebolts,2angebolts,and4nutssecuring
theshippingbrackettotheseatpanandarmrest
(Figure1).Discardtheshippingbracketandseat
panfasteners.Savethearmrestfasteners.
Important:Ensurethatyousupportthe
armrestafterremovingitsothatitdoesnot
crimporhangbythecablesandwires.

•Ifyouareinstallingapremiumseatonatraction
unitwithastandardseatinstalled,completethe
followingprocedure:
1.Parkthemachineonlevelground,shutoff
theengine(ifequipped),engagetheparking
brake,andremovetheignitionkey.
2.Removethe2angeboltsandnutssecuring
thearmresttotheseat(Figure2).Savethe
fasteners.
Important:Ensurethatyousupportthe
armrestafterremovingitsothatitdoes
notcrimporhangbythecablesand
wires.

Operation
SeatControls
Seat-AdjustingLever
Theseat-adjustingleverislocatedonthefront,left
corneroftheseat(Figure9).Twistingthehandleup
allowsyoutoadjusttheseatforwardandrearward.

movetheseattothesecondsetofmountingholes
provided(Figure4).

andmoveadjustitsposition(Figure8).

Youcanadjusttheseatforyourweighttoprovidea
smoothandcomfortableride.
Important:Toadjusttheseat,thedrivermustbe
seated.
Adjusttheseatforyourweightbypullingoutthelever
andthenpumpingituptoincreasethesuspensionor
downtodecreaseit(Figure10).
Whenthearrowisinthemiddleclearareaofthe
viewingwindow,youhaveadjustedtheseatcorrectly
foryourweight.
Whenyoureachtheminimum/maximumweight
adjustment,youcanhearitreachingtheupperor
lowerendstop.
Important:Topreventinjurytoyouand/or
damagetothemachine,checkthesettingforyour
weightandadjustitbeforeoperatingthemachine.

andacustomizedlumbarsupportforyourlowerback.
Turntheadjustmentknobupwardtoadjustthe
curvatureintheupperpartofthebackrestcushion.
Turntheknobdownwardtoadjustthecurvatureinthe
lowerpartofthebackrestcushion(Figure11).

Youcanadjustthebackoftheseattoprovideamore
comfortableride.
Pullupthelockinglevertoreleasethebackrestcatch
(Figure11).Whenreleasingthebackrestcatch,do
notapplyloadtothebackrestbypressingagainstit.
Byexertingpressureonoroffthefrontorrearofthe
seatyoucanmoveittothedesiredposition.Release
thelockinglevertolockthebackrest.
Note:Thebackrestshouldnotbeabletomoveinto
anotherpositionafterithasbeenlocked.
