When you maintain this product, always disconnect
the power cable. Do not plug or unplug with a wet
hand.
Servicing on this product with the cable being connected
may cause electric shock. Before detaching the front
panel, disconnect the cable.

Dust should be removed regularly.
If the dust accumulates, moisture may cause an insulation
failure and a fire.

This product does not have capability to purify the

It can not eliminate carbon monoxide gas.

Do not put a water or liquid container near or on this

When it falls down, the water or liquid is spilled into the
product and fire or electric shock may be caused.

You may drop off or fall and be injured.

This appliance is not intended for use by person
(including children) with reduce physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.

When you do not use for a long period, disconnect the
cable from the plug outlet.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
Whenever you maintain, disconnect the power cable
from the plug outlet.
When you clean the product, use a solution of neutral
detergent for kitchen use. If you use alkaline synthetic
detergent, thinner, benzine, lamp oil, benzol or alcohol,
they may cause a transformation or damage.
Do not rub with a chemical rag or leave a chemical rag
touching the product for a long time as it may transform
the product.

Control Panel
About the Function of Sensor
Dirt sensor (odor, smoke)
•The dirt sensor detect the odor of tobacco, pet, cooking, alcohol, cosmetics and spray.
∗Note It may reacts to a quick change of temperature and humidity by opening and shutting a door.
When the odor lingers in a room constantly or depending upon the main component of the odor, the dirt sensor
may not react.
As sense of smell differs in individuals, odor may be smelled even after the indication of the AIR MONITOR turns to
be CLEAN.
Replace filter indicator
This shows the time to
replace filter unit.
Air Volume monitor lamp
The amount of air volume is shown
here by illuminating lamps in 3
scales when this product is in
operattion.
Memorizing Clean Air
Plug the cable while the air is clean.
•A green lamp far to the left of the AIR MONITOR brinks for 5 minute, and the product will memorize the air at the time as
the clean air.
•After the 5 minutes elapsed, the AIR MONITOR lamps will show the level of dirt of the air.

•The product does not stop and keep
running with “low” even after the air
becomes clean, and keeps the air clean.

BEFORE USING
How to Mount the Filter Unit
1Detach the panel.
1Hold fingers at the ledges on
both sides,
2Pull to the front.
3Pull out the filter unit.
HOW TO INSTALL
When You Install on Furniture
The place to install should be chosen from the place
where air in the room circulates and a smoker is
nearby.
ATTENTION
•Do not cover the air intake or the air outlet. The purified air
will not circulate around the room and this may be the
cause of the deterioration of performance or a breakdown.
•Install the product at least 2 m away from a TV or stereo
set. In order to prevent noise and picture noise, if the
receiving sensitivity is not good, move this product
farther away till the noise diminishes. If the direction,
length, shape of the antenna is changed, sometimes the
noise may diminish.
•Do not use this product in place of a fan in the kitchen.
The life of filter will become extremely short, or may be
the cause of transformation.
2Bring the filter unit and
deodorant filter out of
the plastic bag and
mount it to the body.
•Remove the plastic bag
completely.
•Pay attention to the orientation
of the filter.
•It would be convenient to fill in
the mounting month.
3Bring the Pre Filter
mount it to the body.
Flow of air
•Do not use in the kitchen. Sensor will be tarnished with
oily smoke and the sensitivity of the sensor will become
unstable.
•Do not install the product near heating equipment.
Plastic parts can be transformed, or fire may be winded
which may pose danger.
•Do not operate without filter unit mounted. This does not
have purifying effect. This is also the cause of a
breakdown.
•As time goes by, the installed place or walls may get dirty.
•Do not use at the place with flammable gas, corrosive gas
or metal dust. They may be the cause of breakdown.
4Attach the panel.

FILTER SET REPLACEMENT
Filter Replacement Time
Replace the filter regularly as its air purifying effect drops if it is used for a long period of time.
Standard replacement time is approximately once every 5 year [based on JEM standard (Standards of
the Japan Electrical Manufacturer’s Association)]. Replacement time, however, varies depending on how
and where the filter is used.
•Make sure to replace the filter with a new one if the “FILTER REPLACE” indicator
lights up.
•Even if the “FILTER REPLACE” indicator does not light up, replace the filter with
a new one of you feel any odor from the filter or when there is a difficulty in
eliminating dirt, odor and/or smell.
How to Replace
•Disconnect the cable from the plug outlet.
•Bring out the filter unit after detaching the panel.
•Attached to the new filter unit.
•After replacing the filter unit, plug the cable, press the
FILTER RESET button, and make sure the FILTER
REPLACE indicator turns off.
•Attach the panel.
ATTENTION
•When the REPLACE FILTER indicator turns off,
a microcomputer starts counting for the timing to
replace the filter.
•Do not press the reset button except when the filter
unit has been replaced. It makes difficult to count
accurately.
Filter Unit
Purchase the filter unit at the shop from which you bought this product with designating the model.
NOTICE
•The filter set connot be reused even if it is
washed.
•Classify the type of waste on filter set, in order
to discard.

MAINTENANCE Disconnect the power cable whenever you
maintain this product.
Main Body
Wipe it with a damp cloth and neutral detergent. Wipe it
again with a damp cloth to remove the detergent.
Sensor Hole approximately once a month
The sensitivity of the sensor becomes unstable when the
sensor hole gets dirty or stacked with objects. Vacuum the
dust on the surface of the sensor approximately once a
month.
Filter Unit
Detach the panel and vacuum with a nozzle of a vacuum
cleaner.
Be careful not to tear
the surface of the filter
by pushing the nozzle
of a vacuum cleaner.
Use the vacuum
cleaner with a low
power.

Deodorant filter
Fill water and mix the neutral detergent for
kitchen use.
•Do not use other detergent
except the neutral detergent
for kitchen use.
Immerse entirely for
30 minutes and wash it.
Rinse well with water to wash away the
detergent.
•Odor may be remained if the
rinsing is incomplete.
Remove the water content well with the towel,
and dry it in a ventilated place.
•Attach after well dried.
