The items described on the inverter, the flange mounting kit and their instruction manuals are very important so that you can
use safely the inverter and flange mounting kit, prevent injury to yourself and other people around you as well as to prevent
damage to properly in the area.
Read the instruction manual (E6582062) attached to the inverter to understand the safety precautions, thoroughly
familiarize yourself with the symbols and the indications completely and then continue to read the manual. Make sure that
you observe all warnings given.

WARNING
Prohibited
• Never use this flange mounting kit with any device other than applicable VF-AS3 series inverters below.
- VFAS3-4900PC, VFAS3-4110KPC, VFAS3-4132KPC
- VFAS3-2450P, VFAS3-2550P
(including above type-form followed by any characters)
also applicable with braking unit option PB7-4132K
Use with inapplicable device will result in accident.
WARNING
Prohibited
• Do not install the inverter with this kit in any place with large vibration.
The unit will fall due to the vibration, resulting in injury.
• Do not touch the edge of the parts when installing this kit.
Touch the sharp edge of the parts will result in injury.
Mandatory
action
• Carry this kit by two people or more.
If you carry it alone, this will result in injury.
• Transport the inverter with this kit by a crane.
If you transport a heavy load by hand, this will result in injury.
Please take the utmost care for the operator's safety, and please handle the inverter carefully in order
not to damage the product.

Thank you for purchasing the “Flange mounting kit” for TOSVERT VF-AS3.
This Flange mounting kit is used for following VF-AS3 series Inverter.
• VFAS3-4900PC, VFAS3-4110KPC, VFAS3-4132KPC
• VFAS3-2450P, VFAS3-2550P
And this kit is also available when the braking unit option,
• PB7-4132K
is equipped with the above Inverter.
This manual explains how to install the Flange mounting kit with Inverter.
Refer to VF-AS3 instruction manual (E6582062) and PB7-4132K instruction manual (E6582168) for the operation
procedure, parameters, measures for protective functions (when an alarm/trip occurs), etc what this manual does not
indicate.

This Flange mounting kit is composed of these following part.
Unpack a parcel and check to make sure the contents.
• Installation manual: This manual
• Part (A): Side flange (L)
• Part (B): Side flange (R)
• Part (C): Cover
• Part (D): Grounding bar
• Part (E): Bottom flange
• Part (F): Top duct (L)
• Part (G): Top duct (R)
• Part (H): Gasket (2pcs)
• Fastening parts: Bolt M8x20 (20pcs), Nut M8 (9pcs), Screw M4x16 (13pcs)

In advance, make a cut and holes on panel as the figure below;

Step 2
Remove Top-cover from Inverter with untightening 4pcs M4 screws.
[NOTICE]
Their 4 screws are “pozidriv”.
Please be careful when they are untightened.
Step 3
Remove 3pcs M8 nuts (circled on right figure). Keep these nuts. They must be reused later.
PB7-4132K is equipped:  Go to Step 4A, 5A, and 6A
PB7-4132K is not equipped:  Go to Step 4B, 5B, and 6B

Step 4A
Stick Part (H) on flanges of Inverter.
Step 5A
Place PB7-4132K (the other optional unit, not included with this kit) at the bottom of Inverter to press Part (H).

Step 6A
Fix Part (A) and Part (B) on both sides of Inverter and PB7-4132K by the attached Bolts M8 (20pcs).
Tightening torque of M8 bolts
Circled on bottom figure(4pcs): 7.3Nm
Others (16pcs): 11.8Nm
 Go to Step7

Notice
These bolts must be tightened at 7.3Nm
because they may be broken easily.
