FUNCTIONS AND EFFICACY OF THE HIGH-CONCENTRATION OXYGEN SUPPLIER
The concentration of oxygen, which is about 21% of atmospheric air,
is increased to about 30% before being supplied through the unit.
Air with high concentrations of oxygen is produced by taking advantage of the fact that oxygen molecules
pass through the membrane more rapidly than nitrogen molecules, which separates air.
General efficacy of high oxygen concentration of 30%
High concentration oxygen is effective for recuperating from fatigue caused by sports, work, and study.
It also helps refresh and recover your concentration.
✽Efficacy of high-concentration oxygen varies from person to person.
¡The Air Purifier with the high-concentration oxygen supplier is for home use. The Oxygen Generation
mode is exclusively for the purpose of oxygen inhalation. Do not use the mode for other purposes.
¡This product is not a medical device. It is recommended that those in bad health or pregnant women
consult a physician before using this unit for oxygen inhalation.
¡Do not put aromatherapy products or air freshener in the Joint Tank or the mouth when using the unit.
(Cracks and/or color changes in the resin may result.)
¡Stop using the unit immediately if you experience anything unusual while inhaling oxygen.
¡Do not use this product when exhaust gas is present. (Concentration of gas may result.)
¡Replace the activated carbon filter when foul or unpleasant odors are present.
¡When water builds up in the Joint Tank, drain the water. Wipe off any water drops. (Otherwise, water
may be blown out of the mouth or foul odors may result. Do not drink the water.)
¡Do not spray substances like insecticides or cosmetic items into the main unit. (Oxygen-enriching
membranes may be clogged, causing degradation in performance.)
¡Do not use the unit while smoking. (This may result in foul odors.)

HOW TO INSTALL THE FILTERS
(Be sure to assemble Filters before using the Air Purifier.)
1
1Pull the front panel toward you and remove it while
pressing the right and left buttons at the bottom of the
main unit.
2
2Remove the Prefilter.
3
3Remove the HEPA Type filter and activated carbon
filter in the bag from the main unit.
4
4Take the HEPA Type filter and activated carbon filter
out of the bag and put the thinner activated carbon
filter behind the HEPA Type filter, then mount the
HEPA Type filter to the main unit according to the
mounting direction
with the green-cloth side to the
front. Mount the Prefilter, too.
5
5Align the nails located at the top of the front panel to
the main unit, and hang the front panel onto the right
and left hooks at the lower part.
★If the HEPA Type filter and activated carbon filter are mounted incorrectly, the filters will not
work properly. Make sure that the green-cloth side of the HEPA Type filter is in front.
★Dirty HEPA Type filters and activated carbon filters cannot be reused even if they are
washed. Be sure to replace them.
★The HEPA Type filter should be replaced about five years after opening the package. The
activated carbon filter should be replaced about two years after opening the package. The
replacement frequency depends on how long they are used or where they are installed.
¡The lifetime of the filters will become very short in cases where they absorb oily smoke or
carbonized substances such as soot.

¡How to effectively install the Air Purifier
Install the Air Purifier in a high place (on a table) when cleaning relatively small-sized dust such as
Heavy smoke. Install the unit in a low place (on the floor) when cleaning large-sized dust such as
pollen.
¡When installing it on the floor or on a table
Place it on the floor or table approximately 1 FT. (30 cm) away
from the surrounding walls.
Open the rear cover for batteries by sliding it down and place them
in position. Do not place the batteries to the wrong poles (+and
-
).
2
HOW TO INSTALL AIR PURIFIER (Choose a place where indoor air circulates well.)
3
HOW TO INSERT BATTERIES INTO THE REMOTE CONTROL
¡The Remote Control is to be carefully used. If the Remote Control is dropped to the floor or
spilled with water, it may not be able to transmit the signal to the Air Purifier.
¡The maximum signal range is about 23 FT. (7 m)(front).
¡If the Remote Control operation does not actuate the Air Purifier, replace both two batteries
(AAA/R03)D3 with the new ones. If the operation of the Air Purifier is still not normal,
remove batteries and, after an elapse of more than 5 seconds, return them into the Remote
Control.
¡The estimated life of the battery is approximately one year, if used with the normal
condition, provided that the battery of which service period is close to "recommended
using period" will have to be replaced shortly.
¡The use of the wrong batteries may cause such dangers as liquid leakage and collapse.
Carefully read the precautions provided on the battery and take special care of the
following points for use.
¡Care is to be taken not to mix old and new batteries nor to use the wrong kinds.
¡If the Remote Control is not used for long time (more than one month), remove the
batteries from it. Should any liquid leakage be caused, remove the leakage completely
and replace with the new batteries.

The temperature of the room where the Air Purifier is used should be between 50˚F (10˚C) and 86˚F (30˚C).
At lower temperatures, oxygen concentration is higher and air blower speed will be slower, and at a
higher temperature the oxygen concentration will be lower and the air blower speed will be faster,
though such differences are insignificant.
