• This appliance is not intended to be used by persons (including

or instructions concerning the use of the appliance by a person that is

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the
stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
• Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the
voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage
before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V 50/60Hz)
• Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of
10 cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for
installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
• Before the first use boil a full kettle of water to clean the kettle and
discard this water.
USE
• Always remove the kettle from the base (No. 4) when filling it, this to
avoid water dripping into the base.
• Make sure the water level will never exceed the maximum level marker.
• If not enough water is used, the kettle will switch off, with too much
water it may boil over. Switch the device on by pressing at the on/
off switch. The indicator light will be illuminated. Once the water has
boiled, the on/off switch returns automatically to the off position.
• If the appliance is accidentally switched on when empty, the boil-dry
protection will automatically switch it off. Adding cool water will cool
the boil-dry protection mechanism which enables you to use the kettle
as normal.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to
cool down.
• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive
cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
• Use a soft damp cloth to clean the housing of the device.
• Never immerse the kettle and base in water or any other liquids.
• The device should be regularly decalcified. Use a descaling product
which is suitable for household appliances.
• Rinse the kettle several times with clean water after descaling.
GUARANTEE
• This product is guaranteed for 24 months granted. Your warranty is
valid if the product is used in accordance to the instructions and for
the purpose for which it was created. In addition, the original purchase
(invoice, sales slip or receipt) is to be submitted with the date of
purchase, the name of the retailer and the item number of the product.

VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
• Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig door voordat u het apparaat voor
het eerst gebruikt. Bewaar de gebruiksaanwijzing, het garantiecertificaat,

verpakking om deze indien nodig later te kunnen raadplegen.
• Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (waaronder
kinderen) met verminderde lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke
vermogens, of die gebrek aan ervaring of kennis hebben, tenzij iemand

Gebruiksaanwijzing
• Verplaats het apparaat nooit door aan het snoer te trekken en zorg
ervoor dat het snoer nergens in verstrikt kan raken.
• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat afgekoeld is voordat u het schoonmaakt
en opbergt.
• Dompel het snoer, de stekker en/of het apparaat nooit in het water of een
andere vloeistof, dit om u te beschermen tegen een elektrische schok.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet indien de stekker, het netsnoer of het
apparaat zelf beschadigd is. Indien het netsnoer beschadigd is, moet u
het laten vervangen door een bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst(*) om
gevaar te voorkomen.
• Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer het apparaat niet gebruikt
wordt.
• Let op: om gevaar te voorkomen door het onbedoeld terugstellen van
de thermische beveiliging mag dit apparaat niet gevoed worden via
een extern schakelapparaat, zoals een timer, of aangesloten zijn op een
circuit dat regelmatig uit en aangezet wordt door het voorwerp.
• Gebruik het apparaat nooit in de buurt van directe hittebronnen.
• Zorg dat het snoer niet in aanraking komt met de warme onderdelen
van het apparaat.
• Gebruik het apparaat nooit in de buurt van een met water gevulde
gootsteen of iets dergelijks. Pak een apparaat dat in het water is gevallen
nooit zomaar vast, maar trek eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact.
• Gebruik voor het ontkalken azijn of een speciaal hiertoe bestemd
product. Gebruik geen ammoniak of andere stof die uw gezondheid
zou kunnen schaden.
• Zorg dat u het maximumpeil bij het vullen niet overschrijdt.
• Laat het snoer niet over de rand van de tafel hangen of tegen hete
oppervlakken. Plaats het product niet onder of dicht bij de gordijnen,
raambekleding enz.
* Bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst: after-sales dienst van de fabrikant of de
invoerder, die erkend en bevoegd is om dergelijke herstellingen te doen
zodat elk gevaar vermeden wordt. Gelieve het toestel bij problemen naar

VOOR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK
• Haal het apparaat en de accessoires uit de doos. Verwijder eventuele
stickers, beschermfolie of plastic van het apparaat.
• Sluit de voedingskabel aan op het stopcontact. (Let op: controleer of
het voltage dat wordt aangegeven op het apparaat, overeenkomt met
de plaatselijke netspanning voordat u het apparaat aansluit. Voltage
220V-240V 50/60Hz)
• Plaats het apparaat altijd op een vlakke stabiele ondergrond en zorg
voor minimaal 10 cm. vrije ruimte rondom het apparaat. Dit apparaat is
niet geschikt voor inbouw of buitengebruik.
• Kook voor het eerste gebruik eerst een volle kan water om de kan te
reinigen. Gooi dit water weg.
GEBRUIK
• Haal de kan altijd van de basis wanneer u deze vult. Zo voorkomt u dat
er water in de basis loopt.
• Zorg ervoor dat het maximale waterniveau niet wordt overschreden.
• Bij te weinig water zal de kan uitschakelen, bij te veel water kan het
water overkoken. Schakel de kan in door op de aan-/uitschakelaar te
drukken. Het controlelampje gaat branden. Zodra het water kookt,
springt de aan/uit schakelaar automatisch terug in de uitstand.
• Als de kan per abuis zonder water ingeschakeld wordt, schakelt de
droogkookbeveiliging het apparaat automatisch uit. Door de kan
daarna met koud water te vullen, koelt de droogkookbeveiliging weer
af en kunt u de waterkoker op normale wijze gebruiken.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
• Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact na het gebruik of als u het apparaat
wilt reinigen. Laat het apparaat eerst afkoelen, alvorens u begint met
het schoonmaken.
• Reinig het apparaat met een vochtige doek. Gebruik nooit agressieve
en schurende schoonmaakmiddelen, een schuurspons of staalwol; dit
beschadigt het apparaat.
• Gebruik een zachte vochtige doek om de behuizing van het apparaat
schoon te maken.
• De basis dient altijd droog gereinigd te worden. Dompel de waterkoker
en de basis nooit onder in water of een andere vloeistof.
• Het apparaat dient regelmatig ontkalkt te worden. Gebruik een
ontkalkmiddel dat geschikt is voor huishoudelijke apparaten.
• Spoel na het ontkalken de kan enige malen om met schoon water.
GARANTIEVOORWAARDEN
• Op dit product wordt een garantie van 24 maanden verleend. Uw
garantie is geldig wanneer het product is gebruikt in overeenstemming
met de gebruiksaanwijzing en voor het doel waarvoor het gemaakt is.
Tevens dient de originele aankoopbon (factuur, kassabon of kwitantie)
overlegd te worden met daarop de aankoopdatum, de naam van de

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION
• Retirer l’appareil et les accessoires du carton. Retirer les autocollants, le
film ou le plastique protecteur de l’appareil.
• Branchez le cordon d’alimentation à la prise. (NB : Veillez à ce que la
tension indiquée sur l’appareil corresponde à la la tension du secteur
local avant lew branchement. (Tension : 220V-240V 50Hz)
• Posez l’appareil sur une surface plate et stable en laissant 10 cm
d’espace libre de chaque côté. Cet appareil ne convient pas à une
installation intégrée ou en extérieur.
• Faites bouillir une bouilloire d’eau avant la première utilisation pour
nettoyer la bouilloire et jetez cette eau.
UTILISATION
• Retirez toujours la bouilloire du socle (no. 5) pour la remplir, ceci
évitera l’eau de s’égoutter sur le socle.
• Veillez à ne jamais dépasser le niveau d’eau au-delà du repère
maximum d’eau.
• Si la quantité d’eau est insuffisante, la bouilloire s’arrêtera, avec trop

VOR DEM ERSTEN VERWENDUNG
• Nehmen Sie das Gerät und das Zubehör aus der Kiste. Entfernen Sie die
Aufkleber, die Schutzfolie oder Plastik vom Gerät.
• Stromkabel einstecken. (Hinweis: Vor Inbetriebnahme sicherstellen,
dass die auf dem Gerät angegebene Netzspannung mit der örtlichen

• Das Gerät immer auf eine ebene und feste Fläche stellen und einen

• Vor Erstinbetriebnahme füllen Sie den Wasserkocher vollständig

ANWENDUNG

der Trockengehschutz automatisch aus. Das Einfüllen von kaltem
Wasser kühlt den Trockengehschutz-Mechanismus ab, so dass Sie den
Wasserkocher normal benutzen können.
REINIGUNG UND WARTUNG
• Vor der Reinigung Netzstecker ziehen und warten, bis das Gerät
abgekühlt ist.
• Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch. Verwenden
