Bediening en onderhoud NL
Verwijder alle verpakkingen van het apparaat.
Controleer of de spanning van het apparaat overeenkomt met de netspanning van uw huis.
Voltage 220V-240V 50Hz.
Plaats het apparaat altijd op een vlakke stabiele ondergrond en zorg voor minimaal 10 cm.

Gebruik
Gebruik de waterkoker uitsluitend voor het aan de kook brengen van water, niet voor
andere vloeistoffen en andere ingrediënten.
Kook voor het eerste gebruik eerst een volle kan water om de kan te reinigen. Gooi dit water
weg. Om de kan te openen drukt u op de ontgrendeling deksel (nr. 1).
Bij het vullen, de kan altijd van de basis (nr. 6) nemen, zodat er geen gemorst water in de
basis kan lopen. Vul de kan altijd met een hoeveelheid water die tussen de minimum- en
maximumstrepen ligt. De hoeveelheid water kan worden afgelezen op de waterniveau
aanduiding (nr. 3).
Bij te weinig water zal de kan snel uitschakelen, bij te veel kan het water overkoken.
Schakel de kan in door op de
I van de aan-/uitschakelaar (nr. 2) te drukken. Het
controlelampje (nr. 5) gaat dan branden. Zodra het water kookt, springt de Aan/Uit schakelaar
automatisch terug in de uitstand. Als de kan per abuis droog ingeschakeld wordt, schakelt de
droogkookbeveiliging het apparaat automatisch uit. Door de kan daarna met koud water te
vullen, koelt de droogkookbeveiliging weer af en kunt u de waterkoker op normale wijze
gebruiken.
Let op:
•Neem de kan pas van de basis nadat deze automatisch uitgeschakeld is of schakel deze
eerst met hand uit.
•De stoom die uit de kan van het apparaat komt is zeer heet, vermijd ieder lichamelijk
contact, u kunt zich ernstig verbranden.
•Vul de kan niet verder dan tot het maatstreepje “MAX”, anders kan er kokend water
uitgestoten worden.
•Gebruik de waterkoker alleen met de bijbehorende basis.
•Rol het snoer volledig uit, laat dit niet om de basis (nr. 6) gerold wanneer u de waterkoker
gaat gebruiken.
Schoonmaken van het apparaat
Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat volledig afkoelen.
De buitenkant van het apparaat kan met een vochtige doek worden afgenomen.
Gebruik nooit schuurmiddelen.
De basis dient altijd droog gereinigd te worden.
Dompel de waterkoker en de basis nooit onder in water of andere vloeistof.
Ontkalken van het apparaat
Gebruik een ontkalkingsmiddel dat geschikt is voor huishoudelijke apparaten.
Gebruik het middel volgens de aanwijzingen op de verpakking.
Spoel na het ontkalken de kan enige malen om met schoon water.

Belangrijke veiligheidsvoorschriften
•Lees alle instructies voor gebruik.
•Raak geen hete oppervlakken aan. Gebruik handvatten of knoppen.
•Om u te beschermen tegen een elektrische schok; snoer, stekker of het apparaat
niet onderdompelen in water of een andere vloeistof.
•Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact indien het apparaat niet in gebruik is of voor
reiniging.
•Laat het apparaat afkoelen alvorens onderdelen te verwijderen of te monteren.
•Het apparaat niet gebruiken met een beschadigd snoer of stekker of indien het
toestel beschadigd is op enigerlei wijze.
•Het gebruik van accessoires die niet zijn aanbevolen door de fabrikant van het
apparaat kan schade veroorzaken en beëindigt iedere garantie die u heeft.
•Gebruik het apparaat niet buitenshuis of op of in de buurt van directe
warmtebronnen.
•Laat geen snoer over de rand van de tafel hangen tegen hete oppervlakken of in
contact komen met het apparaat. Plaats het product niet onder of dicht bij de
gordijnen, raambekleding enz.
•Dit apparaat is alleen voor huishoudelijk gebruik en voor het doel waar het voor
bestemd is.
•Het apparaat moet worden geplaatst op een stabiele, vlakke ondergrond.
•Dit apparaat mag alleen worden gebruikt onder toezicht van volwassenen.
•Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld om gebruikt te worden door personen (waaronder
kinderen) met verminderde fysieke, zintuiglijke of mentale capaciteiten of een gebrek
aan ervaring en kennis, tenzij zij onder toezicht staan of aanwijzingen hebben
gekregen m.b.t. het gebruik van dit apparaat door iemand die verantwoordelijk is
voor hun veiligheid.
•Om kinderen te beschermen tegen de gevaren van elektrische apparatuur mag u ze
nooit zonder toezicht bij het apparaat laten. Selecteer daarom een plek voor uw
apparaat op dusdanige wijze dat kinderen er niet bij kunnen. Zorg er voor dat de
kabel niet naar beneden hangt.
BEWAAR DEZE INSTRUCTIES VOOR LATERE RAADPLEGING
Garantievoorwaarden en service
•Bij schade veroorzaakt door het niet opvolgen van de gebruiksaanwijzing, vervalt het
recht op garantie! Voor vervolgschade die hieruit ontstaat, zijn wij niet aansprakelijk.
•Voor materiële schade of persoonlijk letsel veroorzaakt door ondeskundig gebruik of
het niet opvolgen van de veiligheidsvoorschriften zijn wij niet aansprakelijk. In
dergelijke gevallen vervalt elke aanspraak op garantie.
•Anders dan het schoonmaken, zoals genoemd in deze handleiding, is aan dit
apparaat geen ander onderhoud noodzakelijk.
•Indien er reparaties moeten worden uitgevoerd, mag dit uitsluitend door een
geautoriseerd bedrijf gebeuren.
•Dit apparaat is alleen bedoeld voor HUISHOUDELIJK gebruik en niet voor
commercieel of industrieel gebruik.
•Het product mag niet worden gewijzigd of veranderd.

•Indien zich problemen zouden voordoen gedurende 2 jaar na aankoopdatum, welke
gedekt zijn door de fabrieksgarantie, zal TRISTAR het apparaat repareren of
vervangen.
•Uitsluitend materiaal- en/of fabricagefouten zijn voorbegrepen in deze garantie.
TRISTAR is niet verantwoordelijk voor schade:
1) Ten gevolge van een val of ongeluk.
2) Indien het apparaat technisch is gewijzigd door gebruiker of derden.
3) Door oneigenlijk gebruik van het apparaat.
4) Door normale gebruiksslijtage.
•Door eventuele reparatie wordt de oorspronkelijke garantieperiode van 2 jaar niet
verlengd. Deze garantie is slechts geldig op Europees grondgebied. Deze garantie
heft de gebruikersrechten volgens Europese richtlijn 1944/44CE niet op.
•Voor vragen of klachten kunt zich melden bij uw verkooppunt.
•Bewaar altijd uw aankoopbewijs, zonder dit aankoopbewijs kunt u geen aanspraak
maken op enige vorm van garantie.
Aanwijzingen ter bescherming van het milieu
Dit product mag aan het einde van zijn levensduur niet bij het normale huisafval
worden gedeponeerd, maar dient bij een speciaal inzamelpunt voor het
hergebruik van elektrische en elektronische apparaten te worden aangeboden.
Het symbool op artikel, gebruiksaanwijzing en verpakking attendeert u hier op. De
gebruikte grondstoffen zijn geschikt voor hergebruik. Met het hergebruik van
gebruikte apparaten of grondstoffen levert u een belangrijke bijdrage voor de

Operation and maintenance UK
Remove all packaging of the device.
Check if the voltage of the appliance corresponds to the main voltage of your home.
Rated voltage : AC220-240V 50Hz.
Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free space around
the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
Use
The kettle should be used exclusively for boiling water; never use it with other liquids or
ingredients. Before the first use boil a full kettle of water to clean the kettle and discard this
water. You can open the lid by pressing the button (no. 1).
Always remove the kettle from the base (no. 6) when filling it, this to avoid water dripping into
the base. Always fill the kettle between the minimum and maximum level markers, see the
water gauge (no. 3). If insufficient water is used, the kettle will switch off, with too much water it
may boil over.
Switch the device on by pushing down the
I symbol at the On/Off switch (no. 2).
The indicator lamp (no. 5) will be illuminated. Once the water has boiled, the On/Off switch
returns automatically to the off position.
If the appliance is accidentally switched on when empty, the boil-dry protection will
automatically switch it off. Adding cool water will cool the boil-dry protection mechanism which
enables you to use the kettle as normal.
Note:
•Do not pickup the kettle from its base until it has switched off automatically or you have
switched it off yourself first.
•The steam from the device is very hot, avoid any contact, you may seriously burn yourself.
•Do not fill the pot higher than the MAX level indicator or boiling water may spray out.
•The kettle may only be used with the accompanying base.
•The cord should be completely unrolled and not left rolled around the base when the
appliance is on.
Cleaning
Remove the plug from the outlet
Allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning.
The outside of the kettle can be wiped down with a damp cloth. Never use metal polish.
The base should always be cleaned without water.
Never immerse the kettle and base in water or other liquid.
Descaling
Use a descaling product which is suitable for household appliances. Follow the instructions on
the packaging. Rinse the kettle several times with clean water after descaling.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
•Read all instructions before use.
•Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
•To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug or appliance in water or
any other liquid.
•Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the device to cool
before putting on or taking off parts. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged
cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any
manner.
•The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may cause injuries and invalidate any warranty you may have.
•Do not use outdoors, or on or near direct heat sources
•Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces or come
into contact with the hot parts or allow the product to be situated underneath or close
to curtains, window coverings etc.
•This appliance is for household use only and only for the purpose it is made for.
•The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
•This appliance is an attended appliance, and as such should never be left ON or
whilst hot without adult supervision.
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical,sensory or mental capabilities,or lack of experience and knowledge,unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
Guarantee
•The device supplied by our Company is covered by 24 month guarantee starting on
the date of purchase (receipt).
•During the life of the guarantee any fault of the device or its accessories to material
or manufacturing defects will be eliminated free of charge by repairing or, at our
discretion, by replacing it. The guarantee services do not entail an extension of the
life of the guarantee nor do they give rise to any right to a new guarantee!
•Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase. Without proof of
purchase no free replacement or repair will be carried out.
•If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee please return the entire machine in
the original packaging to your dealer together with the receipt.
•Damage to accessories does not mean automatic free replacement of the whole
machine. In such cases please contact our hotline. Broken glass or breakage of
plastic parts are always subject to a charge.
•Defects to consumables or parts subject to wearing , as well as cleaning,
maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the guarantee and
hence are to be paid!
•The guarantee lapses in case of unauthorized tampering.
•After the expiry of the guarantee repairs can be carried by the competent dealer or
repair service against the payment of the ensuing costs.

Fonctionnement et entretien FR
Retirez l’appareil de l’emballage.
Vérifiez si la tension de l’appareil correspond à la tension de votre domicile.
Tension nominale : AC220-240V 50Hz.
Installez l’appareil sur une surface plane et stable et veillez à laisser un espace libre d’au
moins 10 cm autour de l’appareil. Cet appareil n'est pas conçu pour être installé dans une
armoire et pour une utilisation extérieure
Utilisation
La bouilloire sert uniquement à faire bouillir de l’eau ; ne l’utilisez jamais pour un autre liquide
ou ingrédient. Lors d’une première utilisation, faites bouillir une pleine bouilloire pour la
nettoyer, puis jeter cette eau. Vous pouvez ouvrir le couvercle en appuyant sur le bouton (n°.
1).
Retirez toujours la bouilloire de son socle (n°. 6) lors du remplissage, pour éviter tout contact
entre l’eau et le socle. Remplissez toujours la bouilloire afin que le niveau d’eau se situe entre
les traits minimum et maximum, voir la jauge du niveau d’eau (n°. 3). S’il n’y a pas
suffisamment d’eau, la bouilloire s’éteindra, s’il y en a trop, l’eau débordera.
Allumez l’appareil en appuyant sur le symbole
I de l’interrupteur Marche/Arrêt (n°. 2).
Le témoin (n°. 5) s’allume. Lorsque l’eau bout, l’interrupteur Marche/Arrêt reviendra
automatiquement en position arrêt.
Si par inadvertance vous allumez l’appareil lorsqu’il est vide, le système de sécurité qui
empêche une utilisation à vide l’éteindra automatiquement. Remplissez la bouilloire d’eau pour
refroidir le mécanisme de sécurité : ceci vous permettra d’utiliser à nouveau la bouilloire
normalement .
Remarque :
•N’ôtez la bouilloire de son socle qu’après l’arrêt automatique ou après l’avoir d’abord
éteinte à la main.
•La vapeur qui sort de l’appareil est très chaude, évitez tout contact et ainsi tout risque de
brûlure sérieuse.
•Ne remplissez jamais la bouilloire au-delà du niveau MAX sinon l’eau bouillante déborderait.
•Utilisez uniquement la bouilloire avec le socle fourni.
•Le cordon doit être entièrement déroulé ; ne le laissez pas enroulé sur le socle lorsque
l’appareil est allumé.
ENTRETIEN
Enlevez la fiche de la prise électrique
Laissez refroidir toute la bouilloire avant d’effectuer l’entretien.
L’extérieur de la bouilloire peut être essuyé avec un chiffon humide. N’utilisez jamais de
produits d’entretien pour les métaux.
Le socle doit toujours être nettoyé sans eau.
Ne plongez jamais la bouilloire et son socle dans l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide.
Détartrage
Utilisez un produit détartrant qui convient aux appareils ménagers. Suivez les instructions
indiquées sur le paquet. Rincez la bouilloire plusieurs fois avec de l’eau propre après le
détartrage.
