ASSEMBLY
1. Insert casters into legs on underside of five-star base.
Turn base upright. Insert gas lift into center of base
and place dust cover over gas lift. (See Figure 1)
2. Align mechanism with holes on bottom of seat
cushion. Use four 6 x 24 mm mechanism screws
to secure. (See Figure 2)
NOTE: Use Allen wrench to tighten all screws.
For H-9727, continue to step 3 to attach
armrests. For H-9726, skip to step 5.
3. Align armrest brackets with holes on bottom of seat
cushion. Use four 6 x 24 mm armrest bracket screws
to attach. Repeat on opposite side. (See Figure 3)
NOTE: Arrow on bracket should face outside
of seat.

4. Insert armrests into armrest brackets and secure
using one armrest knob, one locking washerand
one flat washer. Repeat on opposite side.
(See Figure 4)
5. Insert backrest post into bottom of back cushion
lining up the holes. Secure using one 8 x 16 mm
backrest post screw. (See Figure 5)
6. Position backrest post in slot between bottom of
seat cushion and mechanism. Align holes and use
three 8 x 20 mm backrest bolts and three backrest
washers to attach back cushion to mechanism.
(See Figure 6)

7. Click backrest cover into place by inserting tabs into
bottom of back cushion. (See Figure 7)
8. Slowly lower chair assembly onto the gas lift.
Press down onto seat cushion to secure in place.

1. Seat Height Adjustment – To raise seat height, lift
lever up with little to no weight on the seat. To lower
seat height, lift lever up while sitting.
2. Upright Tilt Lock – To lock chair in an upright position,
push the lever in toward the center of the seat.
To restore tilt, pull lever out. Chair has synchro tilt:
the back tilts at a two-to-one ratio to the seat angle.
3. Tilt Tension – To increase tilt tension, turn knob
clockwise. To decrease tilt tension, turn knob
counterclockwise.
4. Back Height – To raise the back, lift the back until it
clicks into the desired height. To lower the back, lift
the seat back to its tallest height to release ratchet
mechanism. Then, push it down to the lowest height
setting.
5. Armrest Adjustment
a. Height – To adjust armrest height, press the
button on the side of each armrest and move
the armrest up or down.
b. Width – To adjust arm width, turn knob under
seat counterclockwise and move armrest in or
out. Turn knob clockwise to tighten.

ENSAMBLE
1. Inserte las ruedas en las patas debajo de la base
estrella. Enderece la base. Inserte el pistón de gas
en el centro de la base y coloque la cubierta para
polvo sobre este. (Vea Diagrama 1)
2. Alinee el mecanismo con los orificios en la parte
inferior del asiento. Use cuatro tornillos para
mecanismo de 6 x 24 mm para asegurarlo.
(Vea Diagrama 2)
NOTA: Utilice la llave Allen para apretar todos
los tornillos.
Para el H-9727 vaya al paso 3 para fijar los
descansabrazos. Para el H-9726 vaya al paso 5.
3. Alinee los soportes para descansabrazos con los
orificios en la parte inferior del asiento. Use cuatro
tornillos del soporte para descansabrazos de
6 x 24 mm para asegurarlo. Repita la operación
con el lado opuesto. (Vea Diagrama 3)
NOTA: La flecha del soporte debe apuntar
hacia el exterior del asiento.

4. Inserte los descansabrazos en los soportes y
asegúrelos usando una perilla, una rondana
de seguridad y una rondana plana. Repita la
operación con el lado opuesto. (Vea Diagrama 4)
5. Inserte el poste en la parte inferior del respaldo
alineándolo con los orificios. Asegúrelo usando un
tornillo para poste del respaldo de 8 x 16 mm.
(Vea Diagrama 5)
6. Coloque el poste del respaldo en la ranura
que está entre la parte inferior del asiento y el
mecanismo. Alinee los orificios y use tres pernos de
8 x 20 mm y tres rondanas para respaldo para fijar
el respaldo al mecanismo. (Vea Diagrama 6)

7. Ajuste la cubierta para respaldo en su lugar
insertando las pestañas en la parte inferior
del respaldo. (Vea Diagrama 7)
8. Baje lentamente el ensamble de la silla sobre el
pistón de gas. Presione el asiento para asegurarlo
en su lugar.

AJUSTES DE LA SILLA

1. Ajuste de la Altura del Asiento – Para subir el asiento,
levante la palanca sin o con poco peso en el
asiento. Para bajar el asiento, levante la palanca
mientras está sentado.
2. Bloqueo de la Inclinación del Poste – Para bloquear
la silla en una posición vertical, empuje la palanca
hacia el centro del asiento. Para restaurar la
inclinación, jale la palanca hacia afuera. La silla
cuenta con inclinación sincronizada: el respaldo
se inclina en una proporción de dos a uno con
respecto al ángulo del asiento.
3. Tensión de Inclinación – Para aumentar la tensión
de la inclinación, gire la perilla en el sentido de las
manecillas del reloj. Para disminuir la tensión de la
inclinación, gire la perilla en el sentido contrario de
las manecillas del reloj.
4. Altura del Respaldo – Para subir el respaldo,
levante el asiento hasta que haga clic en la altura
deseada. Para bajar el respaldo, levante el asiento
a su posición más alta para liberar el mecanismo
de trinquete. Luego, presiónelo hasta el ajuste a la
altura más baja.
5. Ajuste de los Descansabrazos
a. Altura – Para ajustar la altura de los
descansabrazos presione el botón al lado de
cada uno de ellos y muévalos hacia arriba o
hacia abajo.
b. Ancho – Para ajustar el ancho del
descansabrazos gire la perilla debajo del
asiento en el sentido contrario a las manecillas
del reloj y muévalo hacia adentro o hacia
afuera. Gire la perilla en el sentido de las
manecillas del reloj para apretarlo.
