Hot-swappable SFP ports support 1 Gbps connect  ons. If you use a copper Ethernet
module (example: UF-RJ45-1G), power off the EdgeSw  tch before  nsert  on;
otherw  se there may be a dev  ce reboot.
To reset to factory defaults:
1. D  sconnect power from the EdgeSw  tch.
2. Reconnect power wh  le hold  ng the Reset button. The port LEDs w  ll l  ght up  n
sequent  al order (th  s takes approx  mately f  ve seconds).
3. When the port 1 LED ashes aga  n, release the Reset button.
Connect the  ncluded Power Adapter to the Power port.

Access  ng the Conf  gurat  on Interface
The EdgeSw  tch  s set to DHCP by default, so  t w  ll try to automat  cally obta  n an IP
address. If that fa  ls, then  t w  ll use the default fallback IP address, 192.168.1.20.
Proceed to the appropr  ate sect  on, DHCP or “Fallback IP Address” :

Use one of the follow  ng methods:
Set up the DHCP server to prov  de a spec  f  c IP address to the EdgeSw  tch based on
 ts MAC address (on the label).
Let the EdgeSw  tch obta  n an IP address and then check the DHCP server to see
wh  ch IP address was ass  gned.
To log  n, follow these steps:
1. Launch your web browser. Type the appropr  ate IP address  n the address f  eld. Press
enter (PC) or return (Mac).
2. Enter ubnt  n the Username and Password f  elds. Cl  ck S  gn In.

Fallback IP Address
1. Ensure that your computer (or other host system)  s connected to the EdgeSw  tch.
2. Conf  gure the Ethernet adapter on your host system w  th a stat  c IP address on the
192.168.1.x subnet.
3. Launch your web browser. Type the appropr  ate IP address  n the address f  eld
(192.168.1.20  s the default fallback IP address). Press enter (PC) or return (Mac).
4. Enter ubnt  n the Username and Password f  elds. Cl  ck S  gn In.
5. The EdgeSw  tch Conf  gurat  on Interface w  ll appear. Cl  ck the System Sett  ngs tab.
