Thank you for purchasing the AmpliFi™
MeshPoint. To get started, download and
install the AmpliFi app from the App Store®
or Google Play™store.

LED States

The three middle LEDs will continually
ash on and o indicating a
MeshPoint is ready for conguration.
Booting Up
Once congured, the LEDs will
indicate the device is booting up with
a looping motion of the LEDs lighting
up from bottom to top.
Searching for Network
The LEDs will indicate the MeshPoint
is searching for the network by
lighting up from the middle outwards.
Connected
Once the MeshPoint is connected,
the LEDs will represent the signal
strength.

Installing the MeshPoints
For best performance, the MeshPoints
should be placed in dierent directions
between the Router and the areas
farthest from the Router. Mesh multi-hop
should only be used when necessary as
performance will degrade with each hop.

outlet.

Add state with the three middle LEDs
ashing on and o.

3 Launch the app and follow the
instructions for the router you are
connecting to.

Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled
on your smartphone.

Connect to an AmpliFi Router
1 If your AmpliFi Router is already up
and running, once you launch the
app the new MeshPoint should be
displayed. Tap Add to Network.

2 Edit the name of the MeshPoint if
desired. Tap Continue.

3 After about a minute, the LEDs on the
MeshPoint will reect signal strength
once connected to the Router. The
Overview screen in the app will appear
and show the MeshPoint connected.

Connect to a Third-Party Router
1 Select the device that needs to
be congured (if more than one
MeshPoint is being installed).

2 The app will display a list of available
Wi-Fi networks. Select the network
associated with your Router.

3 Enter the password associated
with the wireless network and tap
Continue.
An audible tone will indicate successful
conguration. After about a minute,
LEDs will reect signal strength once the
MeshPoint is connected to the Router.

Adjusting the Antenna
The MeshPoint antenna can be adjusted to
provide optimal signal coverage for your
location.

Resetting to Factory Defaults
Factory default settings can be restored
by using an object such as a straightened
paper clip or pin to press the MeshPoint
Reset for approximately 10 seconds until
the LED turns o and an audible tone is
heard.

Limited Warranty
UBIQUITI NETWORKS, Inc (“UBIQUITI NETWORKS”) warrants that the product(s)
furnished hereunder (the “Product(s)”) shall be free from defects in material
and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment by
UBIQUITI NETWORKS under normal use and operation. UBIQUITI NETWORKS’
sole and exclusive obligation and liability under the foregoing warranty shall
be for UBIQUITI NETWORKS, at its discretion, to repair or replace any Product
that fails to conform to the above warranty during the above warranty period.
The expense of removal and reinstallation of any Product is not included in this
warranty. The warranty period of any repaired or replaced Product shall not
extend beyond its original term.

Warranty Conditions
The above warranty does not apply if the Product:
(I) has been modied and/or altered, or an addition made thereto, except
by Ubiquiti Networks, or Ubiquiti Networks’authorized representatives,
or as approved by Ubiquiti Networks in writing;
(II) has been painted, rebranded or physically modied in any way;
(III) has been damaged due to errors or defects in cabling;
(IV) has been subjected to misuse, abuse, negligence, abnormal physical,
electromagnetic or electrical stress, including lightning strikes, or
accident;
(V) has been damaged or impaired as a result of using third party rmware;
(VI) has no original Ubiquiti MAC label, or is missing any other original
Ubiquiti label(s); or
(VII) has not been received by Ubiquiti within 30 days of issuance of the
RMA.
In addition, the above warranty shall apply only if: the product has been
properly installed and used at all times in accordance, and in all material
respects, with the applicable Product documentation; all Ethernet cabling runs
use CAT5 (or above), and for outdoor installations, shielded Ethernet cabling is
used, and for indoor installations, indoor cabling requirements are followed.
Returns
No Products will be accepted for replacement or repair without obtaining a
Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number from UBIQUITI NETWORKS
during the warranty period, and the Products being received at UBIQUITI
NETWORKS’ facility freight prepaid in accordance with the RMA process
of UBIQUITI NETWORKS. Products returned without an RMA number will
not be processed and will be returned freight collect or subject to disposal.

Changes or modications not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the
following two conditions.
1 This device may not cause harmful interference, and

To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and
its gain should be so chosen that the equivalent isotropically radiated power

This device complies with Industry Canada licence-exempt RSS standard(s).
Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
1 This device may not cause interference, and
2 This device must accept any interference, including interference that may

The AmpliFi MeshPoint has been approved by Industry Canada under IC:
6545A-AFPHD. The device for the band 5150-5250 MHz is only for indoor
usage to reduce potential for harmful interference to co-channel mobile
satellite systems.
