INSTALLATION
1. Blockthewheelsandsupportthetrailer″A″
framesecurely.
2. Removetheexistingjack.
NOTE:Savetheoriginalnuts,bolts,andwashers
thatcamewiththejackyouarereplacingfor
installingthePhoenix5500ElectricTongueJack.
3. InstalltheElectricTongueJackusingoriginal
nutsandbolts.Dependingonuser’s
personalpreference,alignthemotorheadso
thatthemotorhousingisfacingthefrontof
the“A”frameorsothatthemotorhousingis
facingthedriversideofthetrailer.
4. TheElectricTongueJackwasdesignedto
replaceanexistingmanualjack.Thediameter
oftheoutertubeofyourchosenjack,will
needtomatchtheexistingholesize,oryou
willneedtomodifytheholediametertofit.
5. InstallFuseHolder.BycuttingtheREDwire
loop,theneithercrimpingorsolderingthe
connections,attachoneendtothepositive
postofthetrailerbattery.Theotherendof
thefuseholder’sREDwirewillbeconnected
totheREDwirefromthejack.ThisREDwire
provides12Vpowertojack.
6. ConnecttheREDpositiveleadtothepositive
terminalofthebattery.ConnecttheBLACK
groundwiretonegativeterminalofthe
battery.



3. Toextendjack,push&holdExtendButton.
4. Toretractjack,push&holdRetractButton.
5. TheGREENlightshouldturnonandremain

whilejackisinExtend/Retractoperation.
6. IfasteadyREDlightcomesonin
Extend/Retractoperation,alowvoltage
situationexitsandthebatteryneedstobe
fullycharged.
7. IftheREDlightflashesquicklyforthree(3)
seconds,ahighampsituationexitsandjack
willturnoffafterthree(3)seconds.Thejack
willresetitselfinfive(5)secondsandcanbe
usedagainuntilahighampsituationoccurs.

causedbytoomuchload.Reducethe
tongueweightofthetrailer.

newfeatures;Auto‐ExtendandAuto‐Retract.
AUTO‐EXTEND:Allowsusertoextendthejack
legtothegroundwithouthavingtocontinually
pressandholdtheExtendbutton.Thisis
especiallyhelpfulwhendetachingRVfromtow
vehicle.
1. InitiateAuto‐ExtendbypressingtheExtend
Buttonquicklytwotimes.Thejackwill
extendtothegroundandstop.
2. Forwhateverreason,theAuto‐Extendcanbe
cancelledbypressinganyotherbutton.
AUTO‐RETRACT:Allowsusertoretractjackleg
withouthavingtopressandholdtheRetract
button.Thisisespeciallyhelpfulwhenuser
wantstoattachRVtotowvehicle.
1. InitiateAuto‐RetractbypressingtheRetract
Buttonquicklytwotimes.Thejackwill
retracttothetoplimitandstop.
2. Forwhateverreason,theAuto‐Retractcanbe
cancelledbypressinganyotherbutton.


1. Disconnectthefuse.(unscrewandpullapart)
2. Removetwistplugintheaccesshole.(located
topcenterofthehousingcover)

retractandcounterclockwisetoextend.

CALIBRATIONMETHODTOSET

Thejackiscalibratedatthefactoryandisready
forusewhentakenoutofthebox.IFTHEJACK
HASBEENMANUALLYOPERATED,SERVICEDOR
IFTHEJACKISSUSPECTEDTOBEOUTOF
CALIBRATIONFORWHATEVERREASON,THEN
USERSHOULDRECALIBRATETHETRAVELLIMITS.
Tocalibratethetravellimitsofthejack,follow
thesesteps:
1. PressandholdExtend/Retractbuttonfor
three(3)secondsandGREENlightwillflash
three(3)timesindicatingbothbuttonsare
pushed.
2. Afterthree(3)secondstheWHITElightwill
flashindicatingthejackisincalibrationmode.
PressExtendorRetractbuttonsothatthe
endoftheoutertubeislocatedonthetop
edgeofthecalibrationhole(seepartslist
view).
3. PressandholdLIGHTbuttonuntilWHITElight
goesoffindicatingthatthejackisnow
calibrated.Afterthewhitelightgoesoff,the
jackwillimmediatelymove(upordown
aboutᶟ⁄₈”)tosetthelocationsensor.The
calibrationholeshouldnotbevisibleafterthe
locationsensorhasset.

Retractbuttons.










TWOMEMORYBUTTONS
(Mem1&Mem2)
Thesecanbeusedtoremembercertainheight
locationssuchashookingandunhookingfrom
towvehicleandasecondmemoryoptionto
rememberasecondheightlocationsuchas
heightrequiredtoattachchainsforaweight
distributinghitch.

Whileunhookingfromthetowvehicle,
Extend/Retractthejacktothedesiredlocation
thatallowsthecouplertoclearthehitchballand
unhookthetrailerfromthetowvehicle.Thisis
thepositionthatjackwillreturntowhilehooking
backuptothetowvehiclebyfollowingthese
steps:

1. PushandholdtheMem1MemoryButtonfor
three(3)secondsandtheGREENlightflashes
three(3)timestosetthememorizedposition
ofthejackatthedesiredheight.
2. OncetheMemorypositionhasbeenset,
pushingtheMem1buttonwilltakethejack
tothememorizedlocation.
3. Oncethejackistravelingtothememory
locationanduserwantstostopthejackfor
whateverreason,pressthememorybutton
againandthejackwillstop.Toresumethe
memoryfunction,pressthememorybutton
andthejackwillproceedtothememory
location.
4. Otherwise,usetheExtendandRetract
buttonstooperatethejack.Thememory
buttonshouldonlybeusedtosetthe
memorylocationandtotraveltothememory
location.
5. Tosetthesecondmemorypositionfollow
steps1through4usingtheMem2button
insteadoftheMem1button.



1. ThisWarrantyismadeonlytothefirstPurchaser(hereinaftercalledthe“OriginalPurchaser”)whoacquiresthisproductfortheirownuse.
2. ThisWarrantywillbeineffectfortwoyearsfromthedateofpurchasebytheOriginalPurchaser.ItissuggestedthattheOriginalPurchaser
retainacopyofthedatedbillofsaleasproofofthedateofpurchase.
3. ThisWarrantycoversonlyspecifiedpartswhichshallbefreefromdefectsinmaterialandworkmanshipundernormaluse.ThisWarrantydoes
notcoverconditionsunrelatedtothematerialandworkmanshipoftheproduct.Suchunrelatedconditionsinclude,butarenotlimitedto(a)
faultyinstallationandanydamageresultingfromsuch;(b)theneedfornormalmaintenanceandanydamageresultingfromthefailureto
providesuchmaintenance;(c)failuretofollowManufacturer’sinstructionsforuseofthisproduct,and(d)anyaccidentto,ormisuseof,anypart
ofthisproductandanyalterationbyanyoneotherthantheManufactureroritsauthorizedrepresentative.
4. InordertoobtainthebenefitsofthisWarranty,youshouldreturntheproductwhichyoufinddefectivetotheManufacturernamedbelow
duringtheperiodthatthisWarrantyisineffect.AllchargesincurredindeliveryoftheproducttotheManufacturer,andinpickingitupafter
theWarrantyservicehasbeencompleted,mustbepaidbytheOriginalPurchaser.
5. Anyitemreturnedinthemannerdescribedinparagraph4willbeexaminedbytheManufacturer.Ifitisfoundthatthereturneditemwas
defectiveinmaterialorworkmanship,theManufacturerwillrepairitwithoutchargeformaterialandlabor.
6. Ultra‐Fabwillpayfreightonreplacementpartsduringthefirst90daysofownershipbytheOriginalPurchaser.
7. TheManufacturerdoesnotauthorizeanypersonorcompanytocreateanyWarrantyobligationorliabilityontheirbehalf.
8. INNOEVENTSHALLTHEMANUFACTURERBELIABLEFORINCIDENTALORCONSEQUENTIALDAMAGES.SOMESTATESDONOTALLOWTHE
