Bitte lesen Sie die folgenden Anweisungen und bewahren
Sie diese auf.
1. Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Perso-
nen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt
werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren
Gebrauchs des Geräts unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resul-
tierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.
2. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
3. Reinigung und benutzerseitige Wartung dürfen nicht von Kin-
dern durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind älter als 8 Jahre
und werden beaufsichtigt.

Dieses Symbol kennzeichnet eventuelle Gefahren, die Verletzungen
nach sich ziehen können oder zu Schäden am Gerät führen.

4. Bewahren Sie das Gerät und das Kabel außerhalb der Reich-
weite von Kindern unter 8 Jahren auf.
5. VORSICHT - Teile dieses Produkts können sehr heiß werden und
Verbrennungen verursachen! In Anwesenheit von Kindern und
gefährdeten Personen ist besondere Vorsicht geboten.
6. Das Gerät ist ausschließlich für den Haushaltsgebrauch oder
ähnliche Verwendungszwecke bestimmt, z. B.
Teeküchen in Geschäften, Büros oder sonstigen Arbeitsstätten,
landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben,
zur Verwendung durch Gäste in Hotels, Motels oder sonstigen
Beherbergungsbetrieben,
in Privatpensionen oder Ferienhäusern.
7. Gerät nur an Wechselstrom mit Spannung gemäß Typenschild
anschließen.
8. Dieses Gerät darf nicht mit einer externen Zeitschaltuhr oder
einem Fernbedienungssystem betrieben werden.
9. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in gut gelüfteten Räumen.
10. Tauchen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in Wasser ein. Das Gerät darf
nicht mit Wasser in Kontakt kommen. Falls dies doch einmal
geschehen sollte, müssen vor erneuter Benutzung alle Teile voll-
kommen trocken sein. Zum Reinigen kann das Gerät mit einem
feuchten Tuch abgewischt werden.
11. Stellen Sie das Gerät niemals auf heiße Oberflächen oder ein
Metalltablett.
12. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur auf einer festen, ebenen, trockenen
und wärmebeständigen Arbeitsplatte.
13. Halten Sie ausreichend Abstand zu Wänden und brennbaren
Gegenständen wie z.B. Vorhängen.
14. Ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel, um das Gerät zu bewegen, und
wickeln Sie das Kabel während des Betriebs nicht um das Gerät.
15. Decken Sie das Gerät niemals ab.
16. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Zuleitung nicht über den Rand der
Arbeitsfläche hängt, da dies zu Unfällen führen kann, wenn z.B.
Kleinkinder daran ziehen.
17. Die Oberfläche des Geräts wird während des Betriebs heiß.
Berühren Sie keine heißen Kochplatten oder Oberflächen.
Benutzen Sie ggf. Topflappen.
18. Schalten die das Gerät nie ein, ohne einen gefüllten Kochtopf
auf die betreffende Platte zu stellen. Verwenden Sie nach Mög-

lichkeit nur Töpfe mit ebenem Boden und einem der Platten-
größe entsprechenden Durchmesser.
19. Bei Überhitzung kann sich das Kochgut eventuell entzünden.
Lassen Sie daher das Gerät während des Betriebs nie unbeauf-
sichtigt.
20. Drehen Sie nach dem Kochen den Temperaturregler stets auf die
Position 0und ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose.
21. Nach dem Ausschalten bleibt die Platte noch einige Zeit heiß.
Berühren Sie niemals die heiße Kochplatte.
22. Lassen Sie das Gerät komplett abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen
und verstauen.
23. Prüfen Sie regelmäßig Stecker und Zuleitung auf Verschleiß oder
Beschädigungen. Bei Beschädigung der Zuleitung oder anderer
Teile senden Sie das Gerät bitte zur Überprüfung und Reparatur an
unseren Kundendienst. Unsachgemäße Reparaturen können zu
erheblichen Gefahren für den Benutzer und zum Ausschluss der
Garantie führen.
VORSICHT:
Das Gerät wird während des Betriebs sehr heiß!
Öffnen Sie auf keinen Fall das Gehäuse des Gerätes. Es besteht
die Gefahr eines Stromschlages.
Der Hersteller übernimmt keine Haftung bei fehlerhafter Montage, bei unsachgemäßer oder fehlerhafter
Verwendung oder nach Durchführung von Reparaturen durch nicht autorisierte Dritte.
IN BETRIEB NEHMEN
1. Entfernen Sie alle Verpackungsmaterialien Halten Sie diese von Kindern
fern - Erstickungsgefahr.
2. Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine trockene, feste und ebene Oberfläche in
einem gut belüfteten Raum.
3. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Temperaturregler auf 0stehen.
4. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Spannung Ihrer Steckdose mit den Angaben
auf dem Typenschild übereinstimmt.

BEDIENEN
REINIGEN UND PFLEGEN
1. Schalten Sie die gewünschte Kochplatte ein, indem Sie den dazugehörigen
Temperaturregler auf die gewünschte Einstellung (1–5) stellen.
2. Verwenden Sie zum Kochen stets Töpfe mit einem ebenen Boden, damit ein
guter Kontakt zur Kochplatte besteht. Nach Möglichkeit sollte der Topfboden
den gleichen Durchmesser wie die Kochplatte haben.
3. Drehen Sie nach Gebrauch den Temperaturregler sofort wieder auf 0und
ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose.
4. Nach dem Ausschalten bleibt die Kochplatte noch einige Zeit heiß. Sie kön-
nen diese Restwärme z.B. zum Warmhalten der Speisen nutzen.
Achtung: Auch nach dem Gebrauch ist das Gerät noch längere Zeit sehr
heiß!
Stellen Sie vor dem Reinigen alle Temperaturregler auf 0 und
ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose.
Lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen.
1. Das Gerät darf auf keinen Fall in Wasser eingetaucht werden.
2. Wischen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch und etwas Spülmittel ab.
Verwenden Sie keine scharfen Scheuermittel oder Stahlwolle.
3. Trocknen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen Tuch ab.
4. Alle Teile des Gerätes müssen vollkommen trocken sein, bevor das Gerät
wieder benutzt oder verstaut werden kann.
5. Stecken Sie den Stecker in eine Steckdose gemäß Typenschild.
6. Vor dem ersten Kochvorgang empfehlen wir, die Kochplatten unter Aufsicht
ca. 15 Minuten auf höchster Stufe aufzuheizen. Hierbei kann etwas Rauch
auftreten, da eventuelle Produktionsrückstände auf den Platten verbrennen.
7. Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler auf 0, ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der
Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen.
8. Nun ist Ihr Gerät einsatzbereit.

ENTSORGUNG / UMWELTSCHUTZ
Unsere Geräte werden auf hohem Qualitätsniveau für eine lange Nutzungsdauer her-
gestellt. Regelmäßige Wartung und fachgerechte Reparaturen durch unseren Kunden-
dienst können die Nutzungsdauer des Gerätes verlängern. Wenn ein Gerät defekt und
nicht mehr zu reparieren ist, beachten Sie bitte: Dieses Produkt darf nicht zusammen
mit dem normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Sie müssen dieses Produkt an einer aus-
gewiesenen Sammelstelle zum Recycling von elektrischen oder elektronischen Geräten
abliefern. Durch das separate Sammeln und Recyceln von Abfallprodukten helfen Sie
mit, die natürlichen Ressourcen zu schonen und stellen sicher, dass das Produkt in
gesundheits- und umweltverträglicher Weise entsorgt wird.
Wir gewähren auf unsere Geräte eine Garantie von 24 Monaten, bei gewerblichem Gebrauch 12
Monate, ab dem Kaufdatum für Schäden, die bei bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch nachweislich
auf Werksfehler zurückzuführen sind. Innerhalb der Garantiezeit beheben wir Material- und Herstel-
lungsfehler nach unserem Ermessen durch Reparatur oder Umtausch. Unsere Garantieleistungen
gelten ausschließlich für in Deutschland und Österreich verkaufte Geräte. Bei anderen Ländern
wenden Sie sich bitte an den zuständigen Importeur. Geräte, für die eine Mängelbeseitigung bean-
sprucht wird, senden Sie bitte zusammen mit einer Kopie des maschinell erstellten Kaufbelegs, aus
dem das Kaufdatum ersichtlich sein muss, sowie einer Fehlerbeschreibung gut verpackt an unseren
Kundendienst. Auf unserer Internetseite www.unold.de/ruecksendung können Sie sich einen Rück-
sendeschein ausdrucken. (nur für Einsendungen aus Deutschland und Österreich). Von der Garantie
ausgeschlossen sind Schäden durch Verschleiß, unsachgemäße Handhabung und Nichteinhaltung
der Wartungs- und Pflegeanweisungen. Der Garantieanspruch erlischt, wenn Reparaturen oder Ein-
griffe am Gerät von dritter Stelle vorgenommen werden. Eventuelle Ansprüche des Endverbrauchers
gegenüber dem Verkäufer oder Händler werden durch diese Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.
INFORMATIONEN FÜR DEN FACHHANDEL
Hiermit erklärt die UNOLD AG, dass sich die Kochplatte 58430 in Übereinstimmung mit
den grundlegenden Anforderungen der europäischen Richtlinie für elektromagnetische
Verträglichkeit (2014/30/EU) und der Niederspannungsrichtlinie (2014/35/EC) bendet.
Die Übereinstimmung mit den Regularien bezieht sich auf den Tag der Erstellung dieser
Erklärung.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Please read the following instructions and keep them on
hand for later reference.
1. This appliance can be used by children 8 years and older, as
well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities or with lack of experience and/or knowledge, if they are
supervised or if they have been instructed with regard to safe
use of the appliance and have understood the dangers that can
result from use of the appliance.
2. Children must not play with the appliance.
3. Children are not allowed to perform cleaning and user
maintenance, unless they are 8 years of age or older and are
supervised.
4. Keep the appliance and the power cord out of the reach of
children under 8 years of age.

5. CAUTION – parts of this product can become very hot and
cause burn injuries! Particular caution is required if children or
persons at risk are present.
6. Connect the appliance to alternating current only, in accordance
with the rating plate.
7. This appliance is intended for domestic and similar use such as:
staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environ-
ments;
agricultural enterprises;
by clients in hotels, motels and other accommodation facilities;
bed and breakfast accommodations and holiday homes.
8. Appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an exter-
nal timer or separate remote-control system.
9. Provide good room ventilation during use.
10. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. Avoid
any contact with water. If this should happen, all parts of the
compliance are completely dry before using it again. Only for
cleaning the appliance can be wiped with a soft damp cloth.
11. Never place the base on a hot surface or a metal tray.
12. Always place the appliance of a flat, solid, dry and heat-resist-
ing surface.
13. Keep a sufficient distance to walls and inflammable materials
such as curtains etc.
14. Do not pull at the cord to move the appliance and do not wind
the cord around the appliance during use.
15. Never cover the appliance during or directly after use, when it
is still hot.
16. Ensure, that the power cord does not hang down from the work-
top as children can pull the lead and thereby cause a serious
accident.
17. The surface of the appliance becomes very hot during use, so do
not touch hot surfaces or cooking plates. If necessary use oven
gants.
18. Never switch on the appliance without placing a filled saucepan
on the respective cooking plate. Ideally you should use flat bot-
tomed saucepans with the same diameter as the cooking plate.
19. The cooking plate becomes very hot during use. Food may catch
fire if overheated. Be extremely careful not to leave the appli-
ance in use.

20. Do not forget to switch off the appliance by turning the dial into
the O position once your preparation is ready and the appliance
is no longer in use. Pull the plug out of the socket.
21. After switching off the cooking plates still remain hot for some
time. Do not touch the hot cooking plates.
22. Wait until the appliance is cooled completely before cleaning it.
23. Check the plug and power cord regularly for wear and damage. In
case of a fault, please send the appliance for inspection/repair to
our after sales service. Inadequate repair may constitute a risk
for the user and result in the loss of guarantee.
CAUTION:
The appliance becomes very hot during operation!
Never open the housing of the appliance. This can result in electric
shock.
The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if
repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties.
BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
1. Remove the product form the packaging. Keep packaging materials away
from children– danger of suffocation!
2. Before using the appliance, check that the voltage marked on the product is
the same as your supply voltage.
3. Place the appliance on a dry flat level surface in a well ventilated room close
to an electric wall socket.
4. Ensure that the controls are set to O.
5. Connect the plug to the wall socket as per rating label.
6. When using the appliance for the first time, it is advisable to heat the appli-
ance once by turning the thermostat control dials to 5/MAX. Leave the unit
heating for around 15 minutes. Some smoke may develop during this pro-
cess.

USING YOUR COOKING PLATE
1. Select the desired cooking temperature of the cooking plate you are using
by turning the dial to the required setting (1–5).
2. When cooking, always use flat bottomed saucepans, which make good con-
tact with the cooking plate. Ideally, the saucepan bases should be of the
same size as the cooking plates.
3. After use, switch off the appliance by turning the temperature dial to Oand
remove the plug from the mains socket.
4. Due to cooking plates’ construction, residual heat will remain after switch-
ing off. This may be used to keep food warm for a short period.
Attention: After disconnecting, the appliance is still very hot for some time!
CLEANING AND CARE
Turn all dials into the O position, unplug the appliance and wait
until it is completely cool before cleaning.
Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning it.
1. Do not immerse any part of this appliance in water or any other liquid.
2. Clean the surface of the appliance by wiping it with a soft damp cloth. Do
not use strong detergents of abrasive cloths/liquid, as this will damage the
surface.
3. Then, thoroughly dry the surface with a clean dry cloth.
4. All parts of the appliance must be completely dry before using it again or
before storing it.
7. Afterwards, switch off the unit by turning the knob to Oand allow it to cool
completely.
8. Now your cooking plates are ready for use.

WASTE DISPOSAL / ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Our appliances are produced on a high quality level for a long lifetime. Regular maintenance
and expert repairs by our after-sales service can extend the useful life of the appliance. If an
appliance is defective and repair is not possible we ask you to follow the following instructions
for disposal. Do not dispose this appliance together with your standard household waste. Please
bring this product to an approved collection point for recycling of electric and electronic prod-
ucts. By separate collection and disposal of waste products you help to protect natural resources
and ensure, that the product is disposed in an adequate way to protect health and environment.
GUARANTEE CONDITIONS
We grant a 24 months guarantee, and in case of commercial use a 12 months guarantee, starting from the
date of purchase for any damage demonstrably due to manufacturing defects and when the appliance has been
used according to its intended use. Within the warranty period we will remedy defective materials or workman-
ship through repair or replacement, at our option. Our warranty terms apply only to appliances sold in Germany
and Austria. For other countries, please contact the responsible importer. In the event of a claim for remedy of
defects, please send the appliance to our after sales service, properly packaged, together with a copy of the
automatically generated sales receipt, which must show the date of purchase, and a description of the defect.
You can print out a return receipt on our website www.unold.de/ruecksendung. (only for entries from Germany
and Austria). The warranty does not cover damage from normal wear, improper handling and failure to comply
with the maintenance and care instructions. The warranty is void if repairs or modifications are made to the
appliance by third parties. Any claims of the end consumer vis-à-vis the retailer are not limited by this warranty.

5. ATTENTION : certaines parties de ce produit peuvent devenir
très chaudes et occasionner des brûlures ! Une prudence parti-
culière est requise en présence d’enfants et de personnes mena-
cées.
6. L’appareil est exclusivement destiné à un usage domestique ou
similaire comme par ex. :
espaces thé et café (boutiques), coins cuisine (bureaux et autres
lieux de travail),
exploitations agricoles,
mis à la disposition des clients séjournant dans un hôtel, motel
ou autre type d’hébergement,
dans des chambres d’hôtes ou maisons de vacances.
7. Branchez cet appareil sur une prise de courant alternatif confor-
mément à la plaque signalétique.
8. Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour être opéré par une minuterie
ou un interrupteur à distance.
9. Assurer une bonne ventilation de la salle pendant l’usage.
10. Ne plongez jamais l‘appareil dans l‘eau. L’appareil ne doit jamais
entrer en contact avec de l’eau. Si cela arrive malgré tout, lais-
sez-les sécher avant de réutiliser la chaudière. Sauf pour le net-
toyer on peut essuyer l’appareil avec un chiffon humide.
11. Ne posez jamais l’appareil sur une surface chaude ou sur un pla-
teau en métal.
12. Posez l’appareil sur une surface solide, plate, sèche et résistante
à la chaleur.
13. Tenez assez de distance aux murs et aux objets inflammables
comme les rideaux.
14. Ne tirez pas au cordon pour déplacer l’appareil et ne jamais rou-
lez le cordon autour de l’appareil pendant l’opération.
15. Ne jamais couvrir l’appareil.
16. Veillez à ce que le cordon ne déborde pas du plan de travail; cela
risque de provoquer des accidents notamment chez les enfants
qui tirent dessus.
17. La surface de l’appareil devient très chaude pendant l’opération.
Ne touchez pas les surfaces ou les plaques chaudes. Utilisez des
poignées à plat.
18. Ne mettez jamais l’appareil en marche sans placer une casserole
remplie sur la plaque en marche. Nous recommandons d’utili-
ser les casseroles avec fond plan et avec le même diamètre que
la plaque.

Prudence :
L’appareil est très chaud pendant son fonctionnement !
N’ouvrez en aucun cas la coque de l’appareil. Risque
d‘électrocution.
Le fabricant n’est nullement responsable en cas de montage non conforme, d‘utilisation irrégulière ou non
conforme ou suite à l’exécution de réparations par des tiers non autorisés.
AVANT D’UTILISER L’APPAREIL
1. Enlevez tous matériaux d’emballage. Conservez les éléments d’emballage hors de portée des
enfants - Risque d’asphyxie !
2. Assurez-vous, que la tension de la plaque signalétique correspond à votre prise de courant.
3. Posez l’appareil sur une surface sèche, solide et plane dans un espace bien ventilé.
4. Assurez-vous que les régulateurs de température se trouvent dans la position 0.
5. Mettez la fiche dans la prise de courant.
6. Avant d’utiliser l’appareil pour la première fois, nous recommandons de le chauffer env.
15 minutes à la température maximale. Pendant ce temps de la fumée peut apparaître.
7. Après mettez l’appareil hors marche en tournant le régulateur à Oet laissez-le refroidir complè-
tement.
8. Maintenant votre réchaud est prêt pour être utilisé.
19. En cas de surchauffe les aliments puissent s’enflammer. Donc il
faut toujours bien surveiller l’appareil pendant l’opération.
20. Après l’utilisation, mettez l’appareil hors marche en tournant le
régulateur à O et tirez la fiche de la prise de courant.
21. Après la mise hors marche les plaques restent chaudes pour un
certain temps. Ne pas touchez les plaques chaudes.
22. Laisser refroidir l’appareil complètement avant de le nettoyer et
ranger.
23. Contrôlez régulièrement la prise et le cordon d’alimentation en
regard de défauts. En cas de défauts veuillez envoyer l’appareil
à notre service après-vente pour le faire contrôler/réparer. La
garantie s’éteint en cas de réparations par des tiers non autorisés.

UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL
1. Mettez la plaque en question à la température désirée en tournant le régulateur correspondant
(1-5).
2. Nous recommandons d’utiliser des casseroles avec fond plan pour établir un bon contact entre
la plaque et la casserole. Il est idéal si le fond de la casserole a un diamètre identique avec la
plaque de cuisson.
3. Après la cuisson mettez l’appareil hors marche en tournant le régulateur à O et en tirant la fiche
de la prise de courant.
4. Après la mise hors marche, les plaques restent chaudes pour un certain temps. Profitez de cette
chaleur pour tenir vos plats au chaud.
Attention : après son utilisation, l’appareil reste très chaud un long moment !
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Avant de nettoyer l’appareil assurez-vous que les régulateurs se trouvent dans la
position O et que la fiche est tirée de la prise de courant.
Laissez refroidir l’appareil complètement.
1. Ne jamais immerger l’appareil dans l’eau.
2. Essuyez l’appareil avec un chiffon humide et un peu de lessive. N’utilisez pas de produits à écu-
rer agressifs ou de la paille de fer.
3. Séchez bien l’appareil avec un chiffon doux.
4. Avant d’utiliser l’appareil de nouveau et avant le le ranger, assurez-vous que tous les compo-
sants sont séchés.

réparé, veuillez suivre les instructions suivantes. Ne jamais disposer ce produit avec les dégâts
de ménage. Apportez ce produit à une station de collection pour récupération de produits élec-
triques et électroniques. Par la collection séparée vous aidez à protéger les ressources naturelles
et prenez soin, que le produit est démonté sans risque pour la santé et l’environnement.
CONDITIONS DE GARANTIE
En cas d’utilisation conforme et lors de dégâts manifestement dus à des défauts de fabrication, nos appareils
sont garantis 24 mois, lors d’utilisation professionnelles 12 mois, à dater de l’achat pour les dommages qui
sont manifestement attribuables à des défauts d’usine lorsqu’ils sont utilisés comme prévu. Pendant la période
de garantie, nous réparerons les défauts de matériaux et de fabrication à notre discrétion en les réparant ou en
les échangeant. Notre garantie n’est valide que pour les appareils vendus en Allemagne et en Autriche. Dans
tout autre pays veuillez contacter l’importateur. Veuillez envoyer à notre adresse les appareils, pour lesquels
vous réclamez une suppression de défauts, avec le bon d’achat montrant la date d’achat. Vous pouvez impri-
