Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für ein Qualitätsprodukt von Bitron Home, einer Handelsmarke der Urmet Gruppe,
entschieden haben. Bitron Home Produkte wurden speziell für die Verwendung mit der QIVICON Plattform
entwickelt und für diese freigegeben. Mit QIVICON steuern und kontrollieren Sie Ihr Smart Home auf ganz
einfache Art mit einer Applikation auf Ihrem PC, Tablet oder Smartphone und verschaffen sich immer und überall
Zugriff auf alle angeschlossenen Geräte.
FUNKTION
Dieser Smart Plug ermöglicht es Ihnen, elektrische Verbraucher (Lampen, Elektrogeräte, ...) ein- und
auszuschalten und deren Energieverbrauch zu messen. Die Maximallast beträgt 16A (3.680W bei 230V).
Aufgrund europäischer Bestimmungen und zu Ihrer Sicherheit, löst bei erheblicher Überlast ein
Schutzschalter aus. Das Produkt ist dann nicht mehr verwendbar.
Ist die Steckdose des Smart Plugs eingeschaltet, leuchtet die Funktionstaste (Abb. 3) rot. Sie können die
Steckdose durch Drücken der Funktionstaste oder über Applikationen für die QIVICON Plattform ein- und
ausschalten.
Der Smart Plug arbeitet als Funkverstärker für das ZigBee Funknetz. Das bedeutet, dass beliebige mit
Ihrem Hausautomatisierungssystem verbundene ZigBee Geräte mit der Home Base / Gateway über ein
oder mehrere Smart Plugs kommunizieren können. Auf diese Weise können Sie die Funkreichweite Ihres
ZigBee Netzes zu Hause nahezu beliebig erweitern. Diese Funktion ist automatisch aktiviert und vom
Schaltzustand des Smart Plug unabhängig.
INBETRIEBNAHME
Dieser Schritt setzt voraus, dass Sie über eine mit einem QIVICON ZigBee Funkstick ausgestattete
QIVICON Home Base verfügen.
1. Stecken Sie den Smart Plug in eine Steckdose, um ihn mit Strom zu versorgen (Abb. 1).
2. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen des Verbindungsassistenten zum Hinzufügen neuer Geräte, der sich in
der App oder Weboberfläche Ihres QIVICON Systems befindet. Weitere Informationen zum
Registrierungsprozess finden Sie unter http://support.bitronhome.eu.
Zur Verwendung des Smart Plugs an einer anderen Home Base ist es ausreichend, den Vorgang zum
Hinzufügen neuer Geräte Ihres Systems zu befolgen. Sobald der Installationsprozess erfolgreich
abgeschlossen wurde, wird sich der Sensor nicht mehr mit dem System, an dem er zuvor registriert war,
verbinden.

QIVICON enables you to manage and control you smart phone in a really easy way: applications for PC,
tablet and smartphone let you manage all connected devise, at any time and from anywhere.
OPERATION
This smart plug allows you to switch on and off electrical devices and to measure their consumption. The
maximum load is 16A (3,860W at 230V). In compliance with European standards and for your safety, a
protection inside the device will release if you significantly exceed the maximum load. The device will not
work anymore.
If the smart plug is on, the function key lights up red. You can switch the plug on and off by pressing the
function key (Fig. 3) or through the QIVICON platform.
This smart plug operates as a ZigBee radio signal repeater. This means that any ZigBee devices registered
at your home automation system can communicate with the home base / gateway through one or more
smart plugs. This allows you to increase the radio coverage of your residential ZigBee radio network in an
almost unlimited way. This automatically enabled function is independent from the switch status of the start
plug.
SET-UP
This step requires that you have a QIVICON Home Base equipped with a QIVICON ZigBee radio dongle.
1. Insert the smart plug into a power socket in order to supply it with energy (fig. 1).
2. Follow for the addition of new devices of the installation wizard, which can be found in the app or in
the web interface of your QIVICON system. For further information on the registration process, please
consult http://support.bitronhome.eu.
If you wish to associate the device to a different home base, it is sufficient to repeat the procedure of your
system for the addition of new devices. Once successfully concluded the installation process, the sensor
will not communicate with the system, to which it has been previously registered, anymore.
