The V Te ch®PJ Masks Time to Be a Hero Learning Tablet features
six exciting activities that help to reinforce learning of letters, phonics,
rhyming, matching and problem solving! With fun animations, cool sound

GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom
of the unit. Use a coin or screwdriver to
loosen the screw.
3. Install 2 new AA (LR6/AM-3) batteries into
the compartment as illustrated. (The use
of new alkaline batteries is recommended
for maximum performance.)
4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the
screw to secure.
Rotate the packaging lock 90
degrees anticlockwise.
Pull out the packaging lock.

PRODUCT FEATURES
1. ON/OFF BUTTON
To turn the unit on, press the On/Off Button. Press the On/Off Button
again to turn the unit off.
2. 6 ACTIVITY BUTTONS
Press one of the Activity Buttons to choose any of the 6 activities.
3. LETTER BUTTONS
Press the Letter Buttons to learn letters or to answer letter-related
questions.
4. ARROW BUTTONS
Press the Arrow Buttons to navigate on the screen or to select an option.

6. 3 CHARACTER BUTTONS
Press the 3 Character Buttons (Catboy, Owlette, Gekko) on the tablet
to play an animation of that character with a brief introduction or to play
some fun phrases related to the characters in each game.
7. SETTINGS BUTTON
Press this button to adjust screen contrast and sound volume. There are
3 steps to adjust the screen contrast and 3 steps to adjust the volume
level. Use the Left Arrow button to reduce the volume level or contrast,
or use the Right Arrow button to increase the volume level or contrast
and then press the OK Buttontoconrm.
8. MUSIC ON/OFF BUTTON
Press this button to turn the background music on or off.
9. AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF
To preserve battery life, the PJ Masks Time to Be a Hero Learning
Tablet will automatically turn off after several minutes of inactivity. The
unit can be turned on again by pressing the On/Off button. The unit will
also automatically turn off when the batteries are very low. A warning will
be displayed on screen as a reminder to change the batteries.
TO BEGIN PLAY
• Press the On/Off button to turn the unit On. A short animation will
play and you will be asked to select an activity.
• Press an activity button to play. Alternatively press one of the
Character Buttons on the tablet to play an animation or to play a
fun phrase related to that character.

1. Letter Fun
Let’sexplorethePicturePlayertogether.Pressany
letter button to learn about letters, phonics and
words.
Press one of the 3 character buttons to play an
animation of that character with a brief introduction.
2. Matching Phonics
Ohno!LunaGirl’smothshavemessedwiththe
Picture Player and the data is not displaying properly.
OwletteneedsyourhelptoxthePicturePlayerby
matching the letters with their letter sounds. Press
a letter to answer.
There are 3 levels of play with varying degrees of
interference hiding the letters.
Press the 3 character buttons to hear phrases related
to phonic sounds.
3. Letter Eggs
Watch out! Romeo is launching spoiled eggs all over
thecity.HelpthePJMasksdefendthecityfromthe
stinky rotten eggs. Type the letters to destroy the
eggs before they hit the PJ Masks.
There are 3 levels of moving speed for the letters.
Press one of the 3 character buttons to change to
that character.
4. Rhyming Words
NightNinjahashiddenMasterFang’sswordinthe
park.HelpCatboyndthesword.
A word will be shown at the bottom of the screen.
Press the Left or Right Arrow Button to choose a tree
withanotherwordthatrhymeswiththerstword.

There are 3 levels of difficulty for the pairs of
rhyming words.
Press one of the 3 character buttons to show a
related rhyming phrase on the screen.
5. Super Gekko Camouflage
GekkoishidingfromNightNinja.Helphimmatch
the pattern on the wall to hide.
Press the Left or Right Arrow Button to choose the
matchingpattern,thenpressOKtoconrm.
Thereare3levelsofdifcultyforthepatternsthat
need to be matched.
Press the 3 character buttons to hear fun phrases
related to the game.
6. Shapes Maze
Oh, no! Romeo has captured Owlette & Gekko and
Catboy needs your help to rescue them.
There are a series of doors with different patterns
shownonthescreen.Doorswithmatchingpatterns
are linked to one another.
Press the Left or Right Arrow Button to move
Catboy. Then, press the OK button to enter a door.
For example, if Catboy enters a door with a circle,
he will exit from another door with a circle on it.
Continue to move Catboy until he reaches the cage
where he will release Owlette & Gekko.
There are 3 levels of difficulty from simple to
complex shaped patterns on the doors.
Press the 3 character buttons to hear their phrases
and to play animations related to the game.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat
sources.
3. Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an extended
period of time.
4. Donotdroptheunitonahardsurfaceanddonotexposetheunitto
excess moisture.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working, then please
followthesesteps:
1. Turn the unit OFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.
5. If the product still does not work, replace with a new set of batteries.
