INTRODUCTION
This super cute unicorn comes in its very own play set handbag that
opens and transforms into a unicorn bed! Care for your unicorn with
the included nappy, bottle and teddy bear. Light up horn glows &
projects light patterns in bed mode for soothing play.

WARNING:
All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks,
removable tags, cable ties, cords and packaging screws are not part
of this toy and should be discarded for your child’s safety.
NOTE:
Please save this Instruction Manual as it contains important information.
Cleaning suggestion:
The unicorn can be wiped clean only. The fabric accessories can
be washed.
GETTING STARTED
The unicorn is in try-me mode in the packaging. To exit try-me mode, just
slide the Off/Low/High Volume Selector from OFF to either of the Low/
High Volume positions to turn the unit on.
BATTERY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the back of
the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen the
screw and then open the battery cover.
3. If used batteries are present, remove
these batteries from the unit by pulling
up on one end of each battery.

4. Install 2 new AAA (AM-4/LR03) batteries following the diagram
inside the battery box. (For best performance, alkaline batteries or
fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended.)
5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
WARNING:
Adult assembly required for battery installation.
Keep batteries out of reach of children.
WARNING:
Not suitable for children under 36 months. Small parts and long cord.
Choking and strangulation hazards.
IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
batteries.
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended
are to be used.
• Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
• Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
• Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES:
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult
supervision.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.

Disposal of batteries and product
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on products and
batteries, or on their respective packaging, indicates they
must not be disposed of in domestic waste as they contain
substances that can be damaging to the environment and
human health
The chemical symbols Hg, Cd or Pb, where marked,
indicate that the battery contains more than the specified
value of mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb) set out
in Battery Directive (2006/66/EC).
The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on the
market after 13th August, 2005.
Help protect the environment by disposing of your product
or batteries responsibly.

Product Features
1. Off/Low/High Volume Selector
To turn the unit On, slide the Off/Low/
High Volume Selector to the Low
Volume or High Volume position. To
turn the unit Off, slide the Off/Low/High
Volume Selector to the Off position.
2. Light Up Horn Button
Press the Light Up Horn Button to sing
adorable songs and hear the sweet
child-friendly melodies with the unicorn while
sitting. Listen to soothing lullabies while lying
down.
3. Mouth Button
Trigger fun sound effects with the dummy &
milk bottle.
4. Tummy Button
Press the Tummy Button to hear sweet
phrases & feelings.
5. Seat and Pillow
The unicorn likes to sit properly in the seat in the handbag and will
say “ Comfy chair!”. She feels relaxed when she is lying on the
pillow properly and will say “ Comfy bed!”
6. Colour Projection Light
The Colour Pojection Light will flash
or slowly fade in and out with the music
to enhance the interactive play. It will be
projected into the handbag when the unicorn
is lying on the bed.

7. Motion Sensor
When the is sitting or lying down the sensors
will trigger different reactions and play.
8. Light Sensor
In a low-light environment, open or close the
hangbag and if the unicorn is sitting on the
seat she will interact with you.
Note:
The light sensor function requires a low-light
environment. It is recommended to operate indoors or in
dim light environments.
9. Automatic Shut-Off
To preserve battery life, the Sparkle & Shine Unicorn will
automatically power down after several seconds without input.
But in Sleeping Bed Mode, it will automatically power down after
playing lullabies for about 20 minutes. The unit can be turned on
again by pressing any button.
Note:
If the unit repeatedly powers down while playing, please insert
new batteries and try switching it on again.
ACTIVIES
1. Hangbag Mode
The unicorn would like to go for a walk with you. Close the
hangbag and carry your bag along. Press the Horn Button and she
will sing a variety of fun songs for you.

2. Playhouse Mode
Enjoy adorable songs and melodies with your unicorn by pressing
the Horn Button when the unicorn is sitting in the seat. Use the
dummy and milk bottle to play nurturing games. Press the Tummy
Button to hear sweet phrases and feelings.
3. Sleeping Bed Mode
Lay the Sparkle & Shine Unicorn down on the pillow of the bed,
press the Horn Button and various soothing lullabies will play
continuously for about 20 minutes to soothe her to sleep. The
magical colour projection light will slowly fade in and out with the
lullabies and be displayed on the handbag.
4. Out of the Sleeping Bed Mode
Sparkle & Shine Unicorn needs you to cuddle & care for her.
Pick her up from the seat, press the Horn, Mouth and Tummy
button and enjoy interactive time with her. Hug her, help to soothe
and rock her to sleep with a relaxing lullaby by pressing the Horn
Button. Use the dummy or milk bottle to soothe her, she will tell
you what she likes when you press the Tummy Button.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct
heat source.
3. Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an extended
period of time.
4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit
to moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working, please follow
these steps:
1. Please turn the unit OFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play with
again.
5. If the product still does not work, please install a brand new set
of batteries.
