glass is provided with this appliance and shall be installed
for the protection of children and other at-risk individuals.
LEGEND G3
The 741SFB Contemporary Steel Front in black or 741SVI
Contemporary Steel Front in vintage iron are designed
to be used along with an outer surround trim (supplied
separately) on the Valor Legend G3 heaters 738 or 739
or Retrofire RF24XB when installed in the RA24ZC Zero
Clearance Kit.
The Contemporary Front fits within the outer surround trim
and clips onto the standard mounting brackets supplied
with the heaters and ZC kit.
The Contemporary Front is compatible with all outer
surround trims and cast iron surrounds available for use
with the heaters 738 and 739 and RF24XB in RA24ZC.
The Contemporary Front is equipped with a barrier screen.
The barrier screen is designed specifically to prevent any
contact with the glass of the fireplace which becomes hot
during operation and remains hot when cooling.

Installation
1. Install the 738 or 739 engine as per instructions
supplied with the engine. Install the RF24XB
engine and the RA24ZC zero clearance box as per
instructions supplied with each.
2. Install the trim to the engine as per instructions
supplied with engine or trim.
3. Hook the Contemporary Front with the barrier
screen attached to the engine trim.

To clean the front and trim, use mild soap and water.
You can dust the screen with a soft brush. To brush the
back of the screen, simply unhook the front.
If the barrier becomes damaged, the barrier shall
be replaced with the manufacturer’s barrier for this
appliance.
To clean the window and ceramics inside the firebox,
consult the Owner’s Information section of the
Installation and Owner’s Manual supplied with the
fireplace.

La Devanture Contemporaine en acier noir 741SFB et la
Devanture Contemporaine en acier fini fer antique 741SVI
sont conçues pour être utilisées avec une bordure (vendue
séparément) sur les foyers Valor Legend G3 738, 739
ou Retrofire RF24XB lorsqu’installé dans une Caisse à
dégagement zéro RA24ZC.
La devanture s’installe à l’intérieur de la bordure et se fixe à
l’aide des supports de montage fournis avec les foyers 738
et 739 et la caisse à dégagement zéro RA24ZC.
La devanture est compatible avec toutes les bordures de
métal ou de fonte utilisées avec les foyers 738 ou 739 ou la
caisse à dégagement zéro RA24ZC.
La Devanture Contemporaine inclut une grille de protection.
La grille de protection est conçue particulièrement pour
prévenir tout contact avec la vitre du foyer qui devient très
chaude lorsque le foyer est allumé et qui demeure chaude
pour une période de temps après que le foyer soit éteint.
Note : Cette devanture doit être installée par un installateur qualifiée, une agence de service
certifiée ou un fournisseur de gaz. Ces instructions doivent être utilisées conjointement avec les

1. Installez le foyer 738 ou 739 selon les directives

la caisse à dégagement zéro RA24ZC selon les

2. Installez la bordure choisie au foyer selon les
directives fournies avec la bordure.
3. Accrochez la Devanture Contemporaine munie de
la grille de protection aux supports de montage de
la bordure du foyer.
