Barrier Screen
A Barrier Screen is being provided to you to install on the Cast Arch Fronts
539, 549 and 550 Series. The barrier screen is designed specifically to
prevent any contact with the glass of the fireplace which becomes hot during
operation and remains hot when cooling.
Install the barrier screen to the Cast Arch Fronts
Snap the barrier screen’s top part to the inner arch. Then slide the screen up
slightly under the hood, snap the bottom of the screen to the inner arch and
slide the screen back down so it rests on the cast fender’s upper edge.
To remove the barrier screen for maintenance, push it up and pull out the
bottom then the top. Use a soft brush to clean the screen.
To clean the fireplace black matte cast front, use a soft brush. To clean the
polished cast front, use mild soap and water.
If the barrier becomes damaged, the barrier shall be replaced with the
manufacturer’s barrier for this appliance.
To clean the stove glass window, refer to the owner’s manual supplied with
the appliance. DO NOT clean with ammonia.

Grille de protection
Une Grille de protection est fournie pour installer sur les Arches de fonte 539,
549 et 550. La grille de protection est conçue spécialement pour prévenir tout
contact avec la vitre du foyer qui devient chaude lorsqu’il est allumé et qui de-
meure chaude lorsqu’il refroidit, une fois éteint.
Installez la grille de protection aux Arches de fonte
Insérez les crochets du haut de la grille en premier. Puis, glissez la grille vers
le haut légèrement sous la voûte, insérez les crochets du bas et glissez la grille
vers le bas pour qu’elle repose sur le dessus du garde-cendres.
Pour enlever la grille pour la nettoyer, glissez-la vers le haut, tirez le bas et en-
suite le haut. Utilisez une brosse souple pour la nettoyer.
Pour nettoyer l’arche de fonte au fini noir mat, utilisez une brosse souple. Pour
nettoyer l’arche de fonte polie, utilisez une solution d’eau et savon doux.
Si la grille est endommagée, elle doit être remplacée par la grille conçue par
le manufacturier pour cet appareil.
Pour nettoyer la vitre de la fenêtre, consultez le guide du consommateur fourni
avec le foyer. NE PAS nettoyer la vitre avec un produit à base d’ammoniaque.
