5. Hardware installation
1.
Choose a location for the camera. Keep the following guidelines
in mind:
oDo not install the camera in locations where extremely high or
lowtemperatures or excessive vibrations may occur. Do not
install near heating or cooling devices.
oAvoid mounting the camera near high electro-magne tic fields.
oDo not aim the camera at the sun or other extremely bright
objects or reflections (e.g. metal doors). This maydamage the
image sensor.
2. Use the mounting bracket [2] to determine the location of the
mounting holes. Drill the holes and secure the bracket.
Wiring
1.
Connect the power connector [B] to a 12 VDC power supply (not
incl.).
2. Connect the BNC connector[A] to a monitor (not incl.).
Note: foroptimum image quality, keep the power and video
cables as short as possible.
Lens
The zoom and focus of the lens are adjustable, as follows:
1. Use a hex key to gently loosen the screwon the lens.
2. Point the camera towards the field of interest and adjust the
lens.
3. Gently tighte n the s cre w.
6. Operation
The joystick allows adjusting settings in the camera's on screen
display (OSD).

General use
•
Press the jo ys ti ck button to display the OSD on
the monitor.
•
Move the joystick up or down to select a
setting.
•Move the joystick to the left or right to change
a setting.
•If a setting has a submenu, press the button to
access it.
Menu
The OSD menu contains the following items:

Lens Sets the lens to DC, video or manual,
with specific settings for each mode.

shutter speed)
Brightness
Sets image brightness.
AGC
Sets the auto gain control level (off,
low, middle, high). AGC increases
image intensity.
WDR Sets wide dynamic range on or off.

Motion Turns motion detection on or off and
defines motion detection settings.

Privacy Use this function to block a part of
the image where you do not want to
view activity. For example, if part of
the image shows a public area where
recording may be illegal.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance
•There are no user-serviceable parts.

1. Inleiding

toestel in gebruik neemt. Werd het toestel beschadigd tijdens het
transport, installeer het dan niet en raadpleeg uw dealer.
2. Veiligheidsinstructies
Dit toestel is nietgeschikt voor gebruik doorpersonen
(kinderen inbegrepen) met verminderde fysieke,
zintuiglijke of geestelijke capaciteiten of gebrek aan
ervaring en kennis, tenzij zijonder toez icht sta an of
instructie hebben gekregen overhetgebruik van het
toestel van een persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor hun
veiligheid.
Houd toezicht op kinderen om te voorkomen dat ze met
het apparaat gaan spelen.
Elektrocutiegevaar bij het openen van
het toestel. Raak
geen kabels aan die onder stroom staan, om dodelijke
elektroschokken te vermijden. Open de behuizing niet
zelf. Laat hetonderhoud van hettoestel overaan een
geschoolde vakman.
Zorg ervoor dat het stroomsnoer niet gekneld of geplooid
is en bescherm het tegen beschadiging.
Waarschuwing! Indien de voedingskabel beschadigd is,
dan moet deze door de fabrikant, diens servicedienst, of
een gelijkwaardig bekwaam persoon vervangen worden
om gevaar te voorkomen.
Er zijn geen door de gebruiker
vervangbare onderdelen in
dit toestel. Vooronderhoud en/of reserveonderdelen,
contacteer uwdealer.

Gebruik het toestel enkel binnenshuis.
Bescher
m het toestel tegen regen, vochtigheid
en opspattende vloeistoffen.
Bescherm tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht
tijdens de bediening.
•Leer eerstde functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat
gebruiken.
•Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen.
Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeftaangebracht aan
het toestel valt niet onder de garantie.
•Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. De garantie
vervalt automatisch bij ongeoorloofd gebruik.
•De garantie geldtniet voorschade door het negeren van bepaalde
richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uwdealer zal de
verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier
rechtstreeks verband mee houden.
•Respecteer de technische specificaties in deze handleiding.
•Gebruik een bliksembeveiligingssysteem of ontkoppel de
stroomkabel van de camera bij onweer.
•Installeer en gebruik deze camera NIET voor illegale
praktijken en respecteer ieders privacy.

5. Hardware-installatie
1. Kies een geschikte montageplaats voor de camera. Houd
rekeningmetvolgende punten:

oMonteer de camera nooit op een plaats onderhevig aan
extreme temperaturen en trillingen.Installeer de camera nooit
in de buurt van verwarmings- of koelapparatuur.
oMonteer de camera nooit in de buurt van elektromagnetische
velden.
o
Richtde camera niet naar de zon of naar een lichtweerkaatsend
voorwerp (bv. een metalen deur). Dit kan de beeldsensor
beschadigen.
2. Gebruik de beugel [2] om de plaats van de montagegaten te
bepalen. Boor de gaten en bevestig de beugel.
Aansluit ing
1. Koppel de voedingsaansluiting [B] aan de 12 VDC-voeding (niet
meegeleverd).
2. Koppel de BNC-stek ker [A] aan een monitor (niet meegeleverd).
Opmerking: voor een optimale beeldkwaliteit, houd de stroom-
en videokabels zo kort mogelijk.
Lens
U kunt de zoom en de focus instellen als volgt:
1. Gebruik een inbussleutel om de schroeven op de lens voorzichtig
los te draaien.
2. Richt de camera en stel de lens in.
3. Draai de schroef voorzichtig vast.
6. Gebruik
Metde joystick kunt u de camera-instellingen via een instelmenu
(OSD) regelen.
Algemeen gebruik
•Druk op knop van de joyckstick om het
instelmenu (OSD) weer te geven.
•Beweeg de joystick naar omhoog of omlaag om
een instelling te selecteren.
•
Beweeg de joystick naar links of rechts om een
instelling te wijzigen.
•
Is de instelling voorzien van een submenu, druk
op de knop om deze weer te geven.

7. Reiniging en onderhoud
•Er zijn geen door de gebruiker te vervangen onderdelen.

5. Installation de la caméra
1. Choisir un endroit de montage pour la caméra. S'assurer :

refroidissement ou de chauffage.

capteur d'images.
2. Utiliser le support de montage [2] pourdéterminer
l'emplacement des trous de montage. Percer les trous et fixer le
support.
Câblage
1. Connecter la fiche d’entrée [B] à l’a limentation 12 VCC (non
incl.).
2. Connecter la fiche BNC [A] à un moniteur (non incl.).
Remarque : Pour une qua lité d'im age optimale, garder les câbles
d'alim entation et le s câble s de vidéo aussi courts que possible.
Objectif
Pour régler le zoom et la mise au point, procéder comme suit :
1. Utiliser une clé Allen pour desserrer soigneusement les vis de
l'objectif.
2. Pointer la caméra et régler l'objectif.
3. Serrer légèrement la vis.
6. Emploi
La manette de contrôle vous permetde configurer la caméra par le
menu à l'écran (OSD).
Emploi général
•Appuyer sur le bouton de la manette pour
afficher le menu à l'écran (OSD).
•
Déplacer la manette vers le hautou le bas pour
sélectionner un réglage.
•
Déplacer la manette vers la gauche ou la droite
pour ajusterun réglage.
•Si un réglage contient un sous-menu, enfoncer
le bouton pour l'afficher.
