Introduction
The Call Recorder Single Digital is a digital audio recorder for two-wire
(Up0) or four-wire (S0) telephon .

The Call Recorder Single Digital has an SD Card interface and a network
interface. The SD Card interface ma be activated ‘off factor ’, if not, it
is possible to activate it an time, using the activation card, which is part
of the SD option. The SD option also contains the actual SD card and the
Quick SD access software.
This manual is written for the Call Recorder Single Digital with the SD
card option activated. If ou purchased a Single Digital without SD card
option, the ‘Cop to SD’ button will not work and the option SD-CARD
will not be visible in the displa .
1.1 Basic Functions
The Call Recorder Single Digital is designed for continuous unattended
recording. All recordings are stored digitall on the internal Compact
Flash Card (Solid-State Drive). The large storage capacit of the Compact
Flash Card ensures the abilit of long term unattended recording.
Recordings are randoml accessible. The capacit of a (16GB) Compact
Flash Card is in recording time at least 500 hours uncompressed and
2500 hours with compression, and therefore it takes a long time before
existing recordings are wiped out b new recordings. When the drive is
getting full, the oldest recordings will be overwritten b the newest
(first in first out archive).
The available space on the drive is shown in the Information menu.
Stored recordings can also be accessed on PC’s via the LAN using the
optional Call Recorder Access S stem software. Using the LAN and this
software is the best wa to backup all our recordings.
If ou have a Call Recorder Single Digital with an activated SD interface,
ou can cop recordings from the internal drive to a removable SD card.
Cop ing recordings to SD card is ment to be used in the case one or
more important recordings must be transferred in a fast and eas wa . It
is possible to cop single recordings or cop a selection of recordings.
The Single Digital allows the user to listen to ongoing calls through the
internal speaker; this is called the Monitor function. The volume of the
internal speaker can be adjusted. The Single Digital also allows for the
connection of a headset. The headset can be used to monitor ongoing
calls and to listen to stored recordings.
