2. DESIGNATED USE:
The DC200 Liquid dispenser series can be delivered with different options, which can
have a little technical difference. Because of this, in the following user manual is only
spoken about the DC200 controller.
The liquid dispenser DC200 is used for precise controlling of pneumatic controlled dis-
pensing, for example dispensing out of 3 – 55cc cartridges.
With the integrated air pressure regulator, the air pressure on the material can be set
very exactly.
3. FOR YOUR SAFETY:
WARNING:
If the DC200 is used for other functions as in this manual described, it could come

to personal or material damage. Use the DC200 controller only to the functions,
which are explained in this user manual. VIEWEG GmbH is not responsible for per-
sonal or material damages, which happen because of incorrect using and no desig-
nated use.
No designated uses are:
•
Modifications at the DC200, which are not recommended in this user manual. •
Using of defective or not compatible spare parts. •
Using of not allowed accessoires. •
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
The DC200 works with 100 – 240V AC voltage. By touching the 100 – 240V AC
•
voltage, there exists danger of life !! Because of this, the DC200 must be discon-
nected from the AC input cable, before opening the housing. It is only allowed for
authorized electrical experts to open the housing.
Use the DC200 only with the max. described and allowed power / settings.
•
Always wear useful protection clothing. •
More details for using the dispensing material, please see the safety data sheets •
of the dispensing material.
No smoking or fire by using flammable material.
•
The DC200 is only allowed for using inhouse. •

6. Start & Operation
• ConnectthepowerinletcabletothePowerinletconnectoronthebackside.
• ConnecttheAirInlettubefromthecompressortotheAirInletatthebacksideof
the DC200.
• ConnecttheFootswitch(opt.:–C-0040)orthedispensecableofthedispense
robot to the foot switch connector in the backside of the DC200.
• SwitchONtheliquiddispenser.ThegreenPOWER-LEDlights.Thedeviceisnow
ready for work.
• Connectthecartridgetotheadapterlikefollowingdiagram:
• Connecttheairtubeofthecartridgeadaptertotheairpressureoutputofthe
DC200 and adjust the pressure fur the cartridge on the front side with the pres-
sure controller.
• AdjusttheVacuumtoreducematerialdripping.

• SelectMODEontheswitchonthefrontside:
Timer OFF: The DC200 dispenses as long as the foot switch is applied.
Timer ON: The DC200 dispenses as long as the timer is adjusted.
A short apply on the foot switch is enough.
• SettingthedispensetimeinTimermode:
With the potentiometer on the front plate (Scale 0 – 10), the dispensing time can
be adjusted. 4 timing ranges are available, which can be selected with the DIP-
switch at the bottom of the controller housing:
4 time ranges:
#1 ON = 0,02 - 20,0 sec
#2 ON = 0,1 - 10,0 sec
#3 ON = 0,01 - 1,0 sec
#1,2,3 ON = 0,3 - 31,0 sec
#1,2,3 OFF = 0,05 - 0,4 sec
#4 Initiate Mode

OFF = momentary

7. Electrical Connections
7.1 Foot switch:
pins: connection between Pin 1 + 3 starts dispensing
Foot switch:
The Foot switch input gets activated if the input is set to GND. It is NOT Allowed to
input a Voltage. This may damage the control input !
8. Maintenance and cleaning
The DC200 is maintenance free
Repairs should only be done by the manufacturer.
Clean the DC200 liquid dispenser only with a clean, smooth and dry cloth.
Do not use dissolver material to clean the DC200 controller. The foil at the front- or
back plate or the housing paintings can be destroyed.
9. Disposal
Dispose the product after the economic life-time according to the legal
requirements.
