Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
• Dieses Gerät ist zur Befeuchtung der Gesichtshaut durch Dampf bestimmt.
• Das Gerät ist für den privaten Hausgebrauch, nicht für eine gewerbliche Nutzung
bestimmt.
• Das Gerät nur wie in der Anleitung beschrieben nutzen. Jede weitere Verwendung
gilt als bestimmungswidrig.
• Von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen sind alle Mängel, die durch unsachgemäße
Behandlung, Beschädigung oder Reparaturversuche entstehen. Dies gilt auch für
den normalen Verschleiß.

■Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Perso-
nen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen

des Gerätes.

■Wenn der Haartrockner in einem Badezimmer verwendet wird,
ist nach Gebrauch der Stecker zu ziehen, da die Nähe von Was-
ser eine Gefahr darstellt, auch wenn der Haartrockner ausge-
schaltet ist. Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird die Installation einer
Fehlerstromschutzeinrichtung (RCD) mit einem Bemessungs-
auslösestrom von nicht mehr als 30 mA im Badezimmerstrom-
kreis empfohlen. Fragen Sie Ihren Installateur um Rat.
■Das Gerät ist nach jedem Gebrauch zu reinigen, um die An-
sammlung von Fett und anderen Rückständen zu vermeiden.
■Das Gerät ist bei nicht vorhandener Aufsicht, vor dem Zusam-
menbauen, Auseinandernehmen und Reinigen stets vom Netz
zu trennen.
■Wenn das Gerät oder die Anschlussleitung beschädigt sind,
muss dieses durch den Hersteller oder Kundenservice oder eine
Fachwerkstatt ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

Bei Unsicherheit, ob das Gerät benutzt werden darf, Rücksprache mit einem Arzt
halten.
■Personen, die gegen Hitze unempfindlich sind, dürfen das Gerät nicht werden.
■Schwangere, frisch Entbundene und Frauen während ihrer Periode können durch
den veränderten Hormonhaushalt negativ auf eine Behandlung mit dem Gerät re-
agieren.
■Treten während der Benutzung des Gerätes ein unangenehmes Gefühl oder
Schmerzen auf, die Behandlung umgehend abbrechen!

GEFAHR – Stromschlaggefahr
■Das Gerät nur in geschlossenen Räumen verwenden und lagern. Das Gerät nicht in
Räumen mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit betreiben.
■Das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten eintauchen! Sicherstellen,
dass das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker nicht ins Wasser fallen oder
nass werden können.
■Sollte das Gerät ins Wasser fallen, sofort die Stromzufuhr unterbrechen. Nicht ver-
suchen, das Gerät aus dem Wasser zu ziehen, während es am Stromnetz ange-
schlossen ist!
■Die Haupteinheit, das Netzkabel und den Netzstecker niemals mit feuchten Händen
berühren, wenn diese Komponenten an das Stromnetz angeschlossen sind.
■Das Gerät nicht verwenden, wenn es eine Fehlfunktion hatte, heruntergefallen oder
ins Wasser gefallen ist. Vor erneuter Inbetriebnahme in einer Fachwerkstatt über-
prüfen lassen.
WARNUNG – Verletzungsgefahr
■Erstickungsgefahr! Kinder und Tiere vom Verpackungsmaterial fernhalten.
■Strangulationsgefahr! Sicherstellen, dass das Netzkabel stets außer Reichweite
von Kleinkindern und Tieren ist.
■Verbrennungsgefahr! Das Gerät wird während des Gebrauchs heiß! Vorsicht im
Umgang mit dem Gerät.
■Das Gerät nur außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern und Tieren benutzen und
lagern. Auch das Netzkabel darf für Kinder und Tiere nicht erreichbar sein. Sie
könnten das Gerät daran herunterziehen.
■Sturzgefahr! Darauf achten, dass das angeschlossene Netzkabel keine Stolper-
gefahr darstellt.
WARNUNG – Brandgefahr
■Das Gerät nicht in Räumen benutzen, in denen sich leichtentzündliche oder explo-
sive Substanzen (z. B. Haarspray) befinden.
■Das Gerät während des Betriebs nicht abdecken, um einen Gerätebrand zu ver-
meiden. Nichts in die Öffnungen des Gerätes stecken und darauf achten, dass diese
nicht verstopft sind.
HINWEIS – Risiko von Material- und Sachschäden
■Das Netzkabel vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes vollständig auseinanderwickeln.
■Das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose mit Schutzkontakten
anschließen. Die Steckdose muss auch nach dem Anschließen gut zugänglich sein,
damit die Netzverbindung schnell getrennt werden kann. Die Netzspannung muss
mit dem Typenschild des Gerätes übereinstimmen.
■Nur ordnungsgemäße Verlängerungskabel verwenden, deren technische Daten mit
denen des Gerätes übereinstimmen.
■Das Gerät muss ausgeschaltet sein, wenn der Netzstecker gezogen oder in die
Steckdose gesteckt wird.

■Darauf achten, dass das Netzkabel nicht gequetscht, geknickt oder über scharfe
Kanten gelegt wird und nicht mit heißen Flächen in Berührung kommt (dies gilt auch
für die heißen Flächen des Gerätes!).
■Das Gerät ausschalten und den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen, wenn wäh-
rend des Betriebes ein Fehler auftritt oder vor einem Gewitter.
■Wenn der Netzstecker aus der Steckdose gezogen wird, immer am Netzstecker und
nie am Netzkabel ziehen.
■Das Gerät muss ausgeschaltet sein, wenn der Netzstecker gezogen oder in die
Steckdose gesteckt wird.
■Das Gerät nicht am Netzkabel ziehen oder tragen. Das Netzkabel nie um das Gerät
wickeln.
■Das Gerät nicht ohne Wasser verwenden.
■Das Gerät vor anderen Wärmequellen, offenem Feuer, Minustemperaturen und
Stößen schützen. Die Anschlussleitung vor Nässe schützen.

Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
BEACHTEN!
■Das Gerät kann mit möglichen Produktionsrückständen behaftet sein. Das Gerät vor
dem ersten Gebrauch reinigen.
■Niemals das Typenschild und eventuelle Warnhinweise entfernen!
1. Eventuelle Folien bzw. Aufkleber vom Gerät abziehen.
2. Das Gerät reinigen(siehe Kapitel „Reinigung und Aufbewahrung“).
3. Das Gerät auf einen trockenen, ebenen, festen, feuchtigkeits- und hitzebeständigen
Untergrund stellen.
4. Den Netzstecker in eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose stecken.
5. Einen Vorgang wie in Kapitel „Benutzung“ beschrieben durchführen, um mögliche
Produktionsrückstände zu entfernen. Wichtig! Das Gesicht nicht vor die Dampfaus-
trittsöffnung (1) halten!
Nun ist das Gerät betriebsbereit!
Sicherheitsvorrichtungen
Das Gerät verfügt über einen Trockenlauf- und Überhitzungsschutz. Ist kein Wasser
mehr im Wassertank vorhanden oder wird das Gerät zu heiß, schaltet es sich automa-
tisch ab. In diesem Fall das Gerät abkühlen lassen, bevor kaltes Wasser eingefüllt und
das Gerät erneut verwendet wird.
Tipps
• Die Anwendung des Gerätes erleichtert das Entfernen von Make-up.
• Wir empfehlen das Gerät bei normaler Haut max. zwei- bis dreimal wöchentlich, bei
empfindlicher Haut max. einmal wöchentlich zu benutzen. Zu häufige Benutzung
kann sich negativ auf die Haut auswirken.
• Die Haut nach der Behandlung pflegen und eincremen, damit die Haut nicht aus-
trocknet.
Benutzung
BEACHTEN!
■VORSICHT – Verbrühungsgefahr! Das Gesicht bzw. andere Körperteile nicht zu
nah an die Dampfaustrittsöffnung führen.
■Eine Behandlung sollte max. 10 Minuten, d. h. ca. eine Wassertankfüllung, andauern!
■Niemals Zusätze wie Pflegeprodukte, Aromaöle o. Ä. in den Wassertank füllen.
Dadurch kann das Gerät zerstört werden und ein sicheres Arbeiten ist nicht mehr
garantiert.
■Den Wassertank nicht überfüllen (MAX-Markierung beachten!).

• Wir empfehlen kaltes destilliertes Wasser in den Wassertank zu füllen, um
Verkalkungen vorzubeugen.
• Wasserrückstände im Wassertank sind auf Qualitätsprüfungen vor der Aus-
lieferung zurückzuführen und stellen keinen Mangel dar.
1. Das Gerät auf einen trockenen, ebenen, festen, feuchtigkeits- und hitzebeständigen
Untergrund stellen.
2. Den Wassertank (2) nach oben aus dem Gerät ziehen.
3. Den Wassertankdeckel (3) aufdrehen und abnehmen.
4. Den Wassertank bis zur MAX-Markierung mit Wasser füllen.
5. Den Wassertankdeckel aufsetzen und zudrehen.
6. Den Wassertank in das Gerät einsetzen. Er muss hör- und spürbar einrasten.
7. Den Netzstecker in eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose stecken.
8. Den Ein- / Ausschalter (4) auf die Position I(An) stellen. Das Gerät wird eingeschal-
tet. Nach ca. 30 – 40 Sekunden beginnt die Dampfproduktion.
9. Das Gesicht vor die Dampfaustrittsöffnung (1) halten. Dabei
einen Mindestabstand
von 20 cm einhalten.
10. Das Gerät ausschalten, sobald kein Dampf mehr austritt. Dafür den Ein / Ausschal-
ter auf die Position 0(Aus) stellen.
11. Den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen und das Gerät vollständig abkühlen
lassen.
Reinigung und Aufbewahrung
BEACHTEN!
■VORSICHT – Verbrennungsgefahr! Das Gerät vor dem Reinigen vollständig
abkühlen lassen.
■Zum Reinigen keine ätzenden oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden. Diese
können die Oberfläche beschädigen.
1. Vergewissern, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet und der Netzstecker aus der Steck-
dose gezogen ist!
2. Das Restwasser aus dem Wassertank und aus der Dampfaustrittsöffnung ent-
fernen. Vorsicht! Das Wasser kann heiß sein!
3. Frisches Wasser in den Wassertank füllen und diesen in das Gerät einsetzen (siehe
Kapitel „Benutzung“).
4. Das Gerät vorsichtig hin- und herschütteln, ohne es zu kippen.
5. Das Wasser aus dem Wassertank und aus der Dampfaustrittsöffnung entfernen.
6. Schritte 3 und 4 ggf. wiederholen.
7. Das Gehäuse bei Bedarf mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch abwischen.
8. Alle Teile vollständig trocknen lassen, bevor das Gerät zusammengebaut / verstaut
wird.
9. Das Gerät an einem sauberen, trockenen, vor Staub und Sonne geschützten sowie
für Kinder und Tiere unzugänglichen Ort aufbewahren.

Fehlerbehebung
Sollte das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß funktionieren, überprüfen, ob ein Problem selbst
behoben werden kann. Lässt sich mit den genannten Schritten das Problem nicht lösen,
den Kundenservice kontaktieren.
Nicht versuchen, ein defektes elektrisches Gerät eigenständig zu reparieren!

nachfüllen und erneut versuchen.
Das Gerät produziert
keinen Dampf.
• Ist der Wassertank leer? Wassertank auffüllen.
• Ist der Trockenlauf- bzw. Überhitzungsschutz ausgelöst?

• This device is intended to be used for moistening facial skin with steam.
• The device is for personal domestic use only and is not intended for commercial
applications.
• The device should only be used as described in these instructions. Any other use is
deemed to be improper.
• The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused by improper han-
dling, damage or unauthorised attempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear
and tear.
Safety Instructions

■If the hairdryer is used in the bathroom, it should be unplugged
after use because the proximity of water represents a risk, even
if the hairdryer is switched off. As additional protection, the in-
stallation of a residual current device (RCD) with a rated tripping
current of no more than 30 mA in the bathroom electrical circuit
is recommended. Ask your fitter for advice.
■The device must be cleaned after each use to prevent any
grease and other residues from accumulating.
■The device must always be disconnected from the mains pow-
er when it is left unattended, before assembling, disassembling
and cleaning the device.
■If the device or the connecting cable are damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, customer service department or
a specialist workshop in order to avoid any hazards.

■If you experience an unpleasant sensation or pain while you are using the device,
stop the treatment immediately!

DANGER – Risk of Electric Shock
■Use and store the device only in closed rooms. Do not operate the device in rooms
with high humidity.
■Never immerse the device in water or other liquids! Ensure that the device, the mains
cable and the mains plug cannot fall into water or become wet.
■Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not at-
tempt to pull the device out of the water while it is still connected to the mains power!
■Never touch the main unit, mains cable or mains plug with wet hands when these
components are connected to the mains power.
■Do not use the device if it has malfunctioned, fallen or been dropped in water. Have
it checked in a specialist workshop before using it again.
WARNING – Danger of Injury
■Danger of suffocation! Keep children and animals away from the packaging material.
■Danger of strangulation! Make sure that the mains cable is always kept out of the
reach of small children and animals.
■Danger of burns! The device will become hot during use! Be careful when handling
the device.
■The device should only be used and stored out of the reach of children and animals.
The mains cable must also be kept out of the reach of children and animals. Other-
wise they might use the cable to pull the device down on themselves.
■Danger of tripping! Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a
trip hazard.
WARNING – Danger of Fire
■Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable or explosive substances
(e. g. hairspray).
■Do not cover the device during operation in order to prevent it from catching fire. Do
not insert anything into the openings of the device and make sure that these do not
become clogged.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
■Unwind the mains cable fully before connecting up the device.
■The device should only be connected to a properly installed socket with safety con-
tacts. The socket must also be readily accessible after connection so that the con-
nection to the mains can quickly be isolated. The mains voltage must match the rating
plate of the device.
■Only use suitable extension cables whose technical data is the same as that of the
device.
■The device must be switched off when inserting or removing the mains plug.
■Make sure that the mains cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and
does not come into contact with hot surfaces (this also applies to the hot surfaces of
the device!).

■Switch off the device and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket if an error occurs
during operation or before a thunderstorm.
■When the mains plug is removed from the plug socket, always pull on the mains plug
and never the mains cable.
■The device must be switched off when inserting or removing the mains plug.
■Do not pull or carry the device by the mains cable. Never wrap the mains cable
around the device.
■Do not use the device without water.
■Protect the device from other heat sources, naked flames, sub-zero temperatures
and impacts. Protect the connecting cable from wet conditions.

Before Initial Use
PLEASE NOTE!
■There may still be some production residues on the device. The device should be
cleaned before you use it for the first time.
■Never remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
1. Peel any films or stickers that may be present off the device.
2. Clean the device (see the “Cleaning and Storage” chapter).
3. Place the device on a dry, level, firm, moisture-resistant and heat-resistant surface.
4. The mains plug should be connected to a socket that has been properly installed.
5. Carry out an operation as described in the “Use” chapter to remove possible
production residues. Important! Do not hold your face in front of the steam outlet
opening (1)!
The device is now ready for operation!

The device has dry-running and overheating protection. If there is no more water in the
water tank or if the device becomes too hot, it switches off automatically. In this case,
allow the device to cool down before cold water is poured in and the device is used again.
Tips
• Using the device makes it easier to remove make-up.
• We recommend that with normal skin the device should be used no more than two to
three times a week; with sensitive skin it should be used no more than once a week.
Excessive use can have a negative effect on the skin.
• Care for and apply cream to the skin after treatment so that the skin does not dry out.
Use
PLEASE NOTE!
■CAUTION – Danger of Scalding! Do not place the face or other parts of the body too
close to the steam outlet opening.
■A treatment should last for no more than 10 minutes, i.e. approx. one full tank of water!
■Never pour additives such as care products, aromatic oils or similar products into the
water tank. This may destroy the device and safe working is no longer guaranteed.
■Do not overfill the water tank (note the MAX marking!).
• We recommend pouring cold distilled water into the water tank to prevent
calcification.
• Water residues in the water tank are attributable to quality checks performed
prior to delivery and do not constitute a defect.

1. Place the device on a dry, level, firm, moisture-resistant and heat-resistant surface.
2. Pull the water tank (2) up out of the device.
3. Unscrew and remove the water tank lid (3).
4. Fill the water tank up to the MAX marking with water.
5. Place on the water tank lid and screw it shut.
6. Insert the water tank into the device. You must hear and feel it engage.
7. The mains plug should be connected to a socket that has been properly installed.
8. Move the On / Off switch (4) to the I(On) position. The device is switched on. The
production of steam starts after approx. 30 – 40 seconds.
9. Do not hold your face in front of the steam outlet opening (1).
Maintain a minimum
gap of 20 cm.
10. Switch off the device as soon as no more steam emerges. To do this, move the On /
Off switch to the 0 (Off) position.
11. Pull the mains plug out of the socket and allow the device to cool down completely.
Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!
■CAUTION – Danger of Burns! Allow the device to cool completely before cleaning it.
■Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning. These can damage
the surface.
1. Make sure that the device is switched off and the mains plug has been removed from
the plug socket!
2. Remove the residual water from the water tank and from the steam outlet opening.
Caution! The water may be hot!
3. Pour fresh water into the water tank and insert it into the device (see the “Use” chapter).
4. Shake the device carefully back and forth without tipping it over.
5. Remove the water from the water tank and from the steam outlet opening.
6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 if necessary.
7. Wipe down the housing with a slightly damp cloth if necessary.
8. Allow all parts to dry completely before the device is assembled / stored away.
9. Store the device in a clean, dry place that is protected from dust and sunlight and is
not accessible to children and animals.

Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the cus-
tomer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
