SystemInformation
TheTelematicsSystemisacellphoneGSMcommunicationandGPScommunicationfrom
GPSsatellitestothevehicle.ItincludesaGPScommunicationECU,acombinedGPS/GSM
antennaandwiringharnesses.Thissystemallowscommunicationbetweenweb-based
softwareontheCustomerPortalandthevehicle.Thedrivercansendandreceiveshorttext
messages,whicharevisiblethroughtheDriverInformationDisplay(DID)inthevehicle
instrumentcluster.Theeetoperatorcancommunicatewiththedriverthroughweb-based
softwareontheCustomerPortal.TheTelematicsSystemalsoprovidesGPSdataintheDID
Gaugesmenu.Thisdataindicatesthelocationanddirectionthevehicleistravellingtothe
driverandeetoperator.
