Hinweise für den sicheren Umgang mit Ihrem neuen Produkt. Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung auf. Bei
Weitergabe des Gerätes an Dritte muss auch die Bedienungsanleitung mit ausgehändigt werden.

2 ALLGEMEINE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Beachten und befolgen Sie die Sicherheitshinweise in diesem Kapitel.

» Eine Nutzung des Geräts ist durch Kinder und Personen mit eingeschränkten
physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangelnder Erfahrung
und Wissen nicht bestimmt. Es sollte immer eine Aufsichtsperson vor Ort sein.

Gehörschädigung durch Schalldruck. Um etwaigen Gehörschädigungen durch
den Schall entgegenzuwirken, ist während der direkten Verwendung des
Geräts und bei Betreten des Wirkungsbereichs ein Gehörschutz zu tragen.
Halten Sie das Gerät während des Betriebs fern vom Gehörgang. Halten Sie
das Gerät fern von Kindern oder Jugendlichen.

Lagern und betreiben Sie das Gerät so, dass ein Missbrauch von Kindern,
Jugendlichen und Dritten auszuschließen ist.

Setzen Sie Gerät und Batterien keinem hohen Druck oder hohen Temperaturen

ausgelaufenen Batterien aus dem Gerät entfernen. Reinigen Sie anschließend
die Kontakte am Gerät mit einem weichen Tuch.

entfernen Sie alle alten Batterien und ersetzen Sie diese durch neue Batterien.

des Gehörs stattnden. Unter bestimmen Bedingungen können hierbei
Kopfschmerzen, ein Druckgefühl im Kopf oder ein Tinnitus ausgelöst werden.
Sollten Sie o.g. Symptome verspüren, konsultieren Sie bitte direkt einen Arzt.
Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, sobald Sie sich für längere Zeit in der Nähe des
Gerätes benden.

3 BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSER GEBRAUCH
Der VOSS.sonic MoleEx 800 dient zur Abwehr und Vertreibung von Maulwürfen. Das Gerät ist für
den Außenbetrieb geeignet. Eine andere Anwendung ist nicht gestattet. Verwenden Sie das Gerät
nicht in Wohnräumen oder Räumen in denen sich Personen aufhalten.
Der VOSS.sonic MoleEx 800 ist ausschließlich für private und nicht für gewerbliche Nutzung
bestimmt.

Es gibt keine 100%tige Garantie, dass alle Tiere erfolgreich vertrieben werden, weil jedes
Tier unterschiedlich auf die Schallsignale reagiert.

1. Drehen Sie den Deckel des Batteriefachs vom Stab ab (Abb. 1)
2. Legen Sie die Batterien (1,5 V Mignon AA-Batterien, 4 Stk) ein (Abb. 2a/b), legen Sie sie mit dem
positiven Pol zuerst ein.
WARNUNG
Achten Sie auf die richtige Polarität der Batterien, um ein Auslaufen oder Explodieren
der Batterien und eventuelle Schäden an Personen oder dem Gerät zu vermeiden.
3. Drehen Sie den Deckel wieder zu (Abb. 3).
Das Gerät fängt nun sofort an Geräusche von sich zu geben.
4. Stecken Sie den Stab in die Erde. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Stab 1-2 cm über die Erde hinausragt
(Abb. 4). Bei starkem Regen ist das Gerät so vor Wasserschäden geschützt. Wenden Sie nicht
zu viel Kraft auf, um das Gerät nicht zu beschädigen.

Das Gerät darf nicht direkt in den Maulwurfshügel gesteckt werden.

6.2 FUNKTIONSWEISE
Durch die ausgesendeten Schallsignale werden die unterirdisch aktiven Maulwürfe verscheucht. Die
Schallwellen irritieren die Maulwürfe, simulieren Gefahr und vertreiben sie aus dem Wirkungskreis
der Schallwellen. Dieser Bereich beträgt bei optimalen Bedingungen ca. 750 m², wobei Signale
in alle Richtungen gesendet werden. Versuchen Sie Hindernisse zu vermeiden, damit sich die
Schallwellen ungehindert ausbreiten können. Bei einer großen, von Maulwürfen befallenen
Grundfläche empfehlen wir Ihnen mehrere Geräte im Abstand von 20-30 Metern aufzustellen.
7 INBETRIEBNAHME
Der VOSS.sonic MoleEx 800 wird mit 1,5 V Mignon AA-Batterien (4 Stk.) betrieben.
VORSICHT
Verwenden Sie nur Batterien des gleichen Typs. Bei Austausch leerer Batterien,
entfernen Sie alle alten Batterien und ersetzen Sie diese durch neue Batterien.
Mischen Sie keine alten Batterien mit neuen Batterien.
Info
Ein Dauerbetrieb des Gerätes ist nicht möglich. Um eine möglichst lange Betriebszeit zu
erreichen, empfehlen wir, Batterien und keine Akkus zu verwenden.

»
Überprüfen Sie vor dem Gebrauch die Beschaffenheit des Bodens. Gefrorene, bewässerte
oder mit Wasser vollgesaugte Erde ist ungeeignet. Je dichter/fester die Erde, umso besser
funktioniert das Gerät. Die effektivsten Ergebnisse erreichen Sie, wenn das VOSS.sonic
MoleEx 800 in der Nähe eines Maulwurfhügels aufgestellt wird. Da der Stab jedoch nicht
einfach in feste Erde gedrückt werden kann, empfehlen wir die Erde vorab mit einem
Spaten/Gartenschaufel aufzulockern und nach dem Einsetzen wieder fest zu drücken.
»Lassen Sie das VOSS.sonic MoleEx 800 dauerhaft in Betrieb. Es können bis zu 2 Wochen
vergehen, bis der Erfolg eintritt.
7.1 PRAKTISCHE TIPPS
∙
Achten Sie bei Platzierung der Geräte darauf, den Maulwurf nicht durch die Schallwellen
„einzufangen.“ Platzieren Sie die Geräte bspw. nicht in alle vier Grundstücksecken.
∙Vertreiben Sie den Maulwurf vom Haus in Richtung der Grundstücksgrenze. Dafür platzieren
Sie den Maulwurfvertreiber vor dem ersten Maulwurfshügel in der Nähe der Hauswand.
∙
Ca. alle 2 bis 3 Wochen versetzen Sie das VOSS.sonic MoleEx 800 in Richtung Grundstücksgrenze.
Die Maulwurfshügel sollten weiter in diese Richtung wandern.
8 REINIGUNG
HINWEIS
»Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine aggressiven Lösungs-/Reinigungsmittel,
Bürsten, scharfe Gegenstände o. ä. Diese können die Oberäche beschädigen.
»Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten. Es besteht
die Gefahr eines Kurzschlusses.
Reinigen Sie das Gerät bei Verschmutzungen mit einem feuchten Tuch.
9 WARTUNG
Das Gerät arbeitet wartungsarm. Dennoch sollten Sie regelmäßig Sichtkontrollen durchführen.
Prüfen Sie das Gerät vor jeder Verwendung auf Beschädigungen. Prüfen Sie regelmäßig die
verwendeten Batterien auf Beschädigungen.
HINWEIS
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht, sobald dieses sichtbare Schäden aufweist.

HINWEIS
»Verpacken Sie das Gerät für den Transport sicher. Für längere Transportwege
ist zu empfehlen, das Gerät in der Originalverpackung zu transportieren.
»Entfernen Sie vor der Lagerung die Batterien.
12 ENTSORGUNG
Das Symbol der durchgekreuzten Mülltonne auf dem Produkt oder seiner Verpackung
weist darauf hin, dass das Produkt nicht über den normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden
darf. Endnutzer sind verpflichtet, die Altgeräte an einer Rücknahmestelle für Elektro-
und Elektronik-Altgeräte abzugeben.
Beinhaltet das Produkt eine Batterie oder einen Akkumulator sind diese, wenn möglich,
getrennt vom Produkt zu entsorgen. Sie sind zur Rückgabe gebrauchter Batterien als Endnutzer
gesetzlich verpflichtet. Sie können Altbatterien, die wir als Neubatterien im Sortiment führen
oder geführt haben, unentgeltlich an unserem Versandlager (Versandadresse) oder an einem
Wertstoffhof/Recyclinghof in Ihrer Nähe zurückgeben. Sofern die Batterie oder der Akkumulator
mehr als 0,0005 Masseprozent Quecksilber, mehr als 0,002 Masseprozent Cadmium oder mehr als
0,004 Masseprozent Blei enthält, ist dies durch das jeweilige chemische Zeichen (Hg Cd, oder Pb)
unterhalb des Symbols der durchgekreuzten Mülltonne auf der Batterie oder dem Akkumulator
vermerkt. In Batterien und Akkus sind Wertstoffe wie zum Beispiel Zink, Eisen, Aluminium, Lithium
und Silber wiederzufinden. Des Weiteren können Inhaltsstoffe wie Quecksilber, Cadmium und Blei
enthalten sein. Diese sind giftig und gefährden bei einer unsachgemäßen Entsorgung die Umwelt.
Schwermetalle können gesundheitsschädigende Wirkungen auf Menschen, Tiere und Pflanzen
haben und sich in der in der Umwelt anreichern.
Die getrennte Sammlung und ordnungsgemäße Entsorgung Ihrer Altgeräte und Altbatterien-/
akkumulatoren trägt zur Erhaltung der natürlichen Ressourcen bei und garantiert eine
Wiederverwertung, die die Gesundheit des Menschen schützt und die Umwelt schont. Informationen,
wo Sie Rücknahmestellen für Ihre Altgeräte oder Altbatterien/-akkumulatoren finden, erhalten
Sie bei Ihrer Stadt- bzw. Gemeindeverwaltung, den örtlichen Müllentsorgungsbetrieben oder bei
der VOSS GmbH & Co. KG.

5 GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read and follow the safety instructions in this chapter.

The device is not intended for use by children or anyone with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge. A
supervisor should always be present.
» Hearing damage due to sound pressure. To counteract any hearing damage
caused by the sound, ear protection must be worn during direct use of the
device and when entering their effective area. Keep the device away from the
ear canal during operation. Keep the device away from children or teenagers.

Store and operate the device in such a way that misuse by children, teenagers
and third parties can be ruled out.
»
Do not expose the device and batteries to high pressure or high temperatures.
Do not operate the device at temperatures higher than +40°C.
CAUTION
» Battery acid burns. Wear protective gloves when removing leaking batteries
from the device. Then clean the contacts on the device with a soft cloth.
» Use only batteries of the same type. When replacing dead batteries, remove
all old batteries and replace them with new ones. Do not mix old batteries
with new batteries.

Risk of tripping. Position the device so that it does not pose a tripping hazard
to persons and animals. Do not place the device in walkways.

Headache, pressure sensation and tinnitus. Do not place the device inside living
areas unless your device is designed for that purpose. Prolonged exposure to
the sound may negatively affect hearing. Under certain conditions, headaches,
a feeling of pressure in the head or tinnitus can be triggered. If you experience
any of the above symptoms, please consult a physician directly. Switch off
the device if you spend prolonged periods of time in its vicinity.

2 INTENDED USE
The VOSS.sonic MoleEx 800 is used to repel and drive away unwanted moles. The device is suitable
for outdoor use. No other use is permitted. Do not use the device in living spaces or spaces where
people are present.
The unit is intended for private use only and not for commercial use.

1. Unscrew the cover of the battery compartment (g. 1).
2. Insert the batteries (4x AA batteries) (g. 2a/b), inserting them with the positive pole rst.
WARNING
Pay attention to the correct polarity of the batteries to avoid battery leakage or
explosion and possible damage to persons or the device.
3. Close the cover (g. 3).
The device will immediately start emitting sound.
4. Insert the device into the ground. Make sure that the rod protrudes 1-2 cm above the ground
(g. 4). This protects the unit from water damage in heavy rain. Do not use too much force to
avoid damaging the unit.
NOTICE
The device must not be placed directly into the molehill.

»Please check the ground condition before use. Frozen, irrigated or soaked with water
earth is unsuitable. The denser the earth, the better the device works. Best results are
achieved if VOSS.sonic MoleEx 800 is installed near a molehill. However, as the rod cannot
simply be pressed into solid earth, we recommend loosening the earth beforehand with
a spade/garden shovel and pressing it rmly again after insertion.

Leave the VOSS.sonic MoleEx 800 in continuous operation. It can take up to 2 weeks
before results become visible.
7 FIRST TIME OPERATION
The VOSS.sonic MoleEx 800 is powered by 1.5 V mignon AA batteries (4 pcs.)
CAUTION
Use only batteries of the same type. When replacing dead batteries, remove
all old batteries and replace them with new ones. Do not mix old batteries with
new batteries.

Continuous operation of the device is not possible. To achieve the longest possible operating
time, we recommend using batteries and not rechargeable batteries.
6.2 OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The emitted sound signals scare away the moles that are active underground. They are designed
to irritate the moles, simulate danger and drive them out of their habitat. This device has an
effective area of app. 750 m² under ideal conditions, with signals being sent in all directions.
Try to avoid obstacles so that the sound waves can travel unhindered. If you have a large area
infested by moles, we recommend that you place several units at a distance of 20-30 metres
from one another.

7.1 PRACTICAL TIPS
∙When placing the device, be careful not to „catch“ the mole between the sound waves. For
example, do not place the devices in all four corners of the property.
∙Drive the mole away from the house in the direction of the property line. To do this, place the
mole repellent in front of the first molehill near the house wall.
∙Approx. every 2 to 3 weeks, move the VOSS.sonic MoleEx 800 towards the property boundary.
The molehills should continue to move in that direction.
8 CLEANING
NOTICE

Do not use aggressive solvents/cleaning agents, brushes, sharp objects or
similar for cleaning. These can damage the surface.

Do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids. There is a risk of a short circuit.
Clean the unit with a damp cloth if it is dirty.

The unit requires little maintenance. However, you should carry out regular visual inspections.
Check the unit for damage before each use.

12 DISPOSAL
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that the
product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. End users are required
to hand in the appliance at a collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment.
If the product contains a battery or a rechargeable battery, these should be disposed of
separately from the product if possible. As an end user you are legally obliged to return
used batteries. You can return used batteries that we supply or have supplied as new batteries
free of charge to our warehouse (shipping address) or to a recycling centre in your area. If the
battery or the rechargeable battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury by weight, more than
0.002% cadmium by weight or more than 0.004% lead by weight, this will be clearly indicated by
the respective chemical symbol (Hg Cd, or Pb) below the symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin
on the battery or the rechargeable battery. Recyclable materials such as zinc, iron, aluminium,
lithium and silver can be found in batteries and rechargeable batteries. They may also contain
substances such as mercury, cadmium and lead. These are poisonous and dangerous to the
environment if not disposed of properly. Heavy metals can have harmful effects on human, animal
and plant health and accumulate in the environment.
The separate collection and proper disposal of your old appliances and used batteries/rechargeable
batteries contributes to the conservation of natural resources and guarantees recycling that
protects human health and preserves the environment. Information on where to find collection
points for your old appliances or used batteries/rechargeable batteries can be obtained from your
town or council administration, the local waste disposal companies or from VOSS GmbH & Co. KG.

AVERTISSEMENT
» L’appareil n’est pas destiné à être utilisé par des enfants et des personnes
ayant des capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites, manquant
d'expérience et de connaissances. Une personne responsable doit toujours
être présente.

Dommages auditifs dus à la pression acoustique. Pour éviter toute lésion
auditive causée par les sons, il faut porter une protection auditive lors de
l'utilisation directe de l'appareil et lorsqu’on pénètre dans la zone d’action.
Tenez l'appareil éloigné du canal auditif pendant le fonctionnement. Tenir
l'appareil hors de portée des enfants ou des adolescents.
» Stockez et utilisez l'appareil de manière à exclure toute utilisation abusive
par des enfants, des adolescents et des tierces personnes.

Brûlures dues à l'acide des batteries. Portez des gants de protection lorsque
vous retirez de l’appareil des piles qui fuient. Ensuite, nettoyez les contacts
de l'appareil avec un chiffon doux.

N'utilisez que des piles du même type. Lorsque vous remplacez des piles
usées, retirez toutes les piles usagées et remplacez-les par des piles neuves.
Ne mélangez pas des piles usagées avec des piles neuves.

1. Dévissez le couvercle du compartiment des piles du piquet (g. 1).
2. Insérez les piles (4 unités mignon AA) (g. 2a/b), en les insérant avec le pôle positif en premier.
AVERTISSEMENT
Veillez à ce que la polarité des piles soit correcte pour éviter les fuites ou les
explosions et des dommages éventuels aux personnes ou à l’appareil.
3. Refermer le couvercle (g. 3).
L‘appareil commence alors immédiatement à faire du bruit.
4. Enfoncer le piquet dans le sol. Veillez à ce que le piquet dépasse de 1 à 2 cm au-dessus du sol.
(g.4). Cela permet de protéger l‘appareil contre les dégâts des eaux en cas de forte pluie.
N’utilisez pas la force pour éviter d’endommager l‘appareil.
REMARQUE
L‘appareil ne doit pas être mis directement dans la taupinière.
6.2 FONCTIONNEMENT
Les signaux sonores émis effraient d’une manière efficace les taupes qui sont actives sous
terre. Ces ondes sonores irritent les taupes, simulent le danger et les chassent de la zone de
rayonnement. Dans des conditions optimales, cette zone a une surface d‘environ 750 m², les
signaux étant envoyés dans toutes les directions. Essayez d‘éviter les obstacles afin que les ondes
sonores puissent se propager sans obstacle. Si vous avez une grande surface avec beaucoup de
taupes, nous vous recommandons de placer plusieurs appareils à un intervalle de 20 à 30 mètres.
7 MISE EN SERVICE
Le VOSS.sonic MoleEx 800 est alimenté par piles 1,5 V Mignon AA, (4 pcs).
PRUDENCE
N'utilisez que des piles du même type. Lorsque vous remplacez des piles usées,

7.1 CONSEILS PRATIQUES
∙Lorsque vous installez l’appareil, veillez à ne pas „attraper“ la taupe avec les ondes sonores.
Par exemple, ne placez pas les appareils aux quatre coins du terrain.
∙Éloignez la taupe de la maison en direction de la limite de votre terrain. Pour cela, placez le
répulsif devant la première taupinière à proximité du mur de la maison.
∙Toutes les 2 ou 3 semaines environ, déplacez le VOSS.sonic MoleEx 800 vers la limite de la
propriété. Les taupinières devraient continuer alors à “se déplacer” dans cette direction.
8 NETTOYAGE
REMARQUE
»
N'utilisez pas de solvants/nettoyants agressifs, de brosses, d'objets pointus ou
similaires pour le nettoyage. Ceux-ci peuvent endommager la surface.
»Ne pas immerger l'appareil dans l'eau ou dans d'autres liquides. Il y a un risque
de court-circuit.
Nettoyez l'appareil avec un chiffon humide s'il est sale.
9 ENTRETIEN
L'appareil nécessite peu de maintenance. Néanmoins, vous devez procéder à des contrôles
visuels réguliers. Avant chaque utilisation, vérifiez que l'appareil n'est pas endommagé. Vérifiez
régulièrement que les piles utilisées ne sont pas endommagées.

N'utilisez pas l'appareil s'il présente des dommages visibles.

Avant l’utilisation veuillez vérier l‘état du sol. Un sol gelé, irrigué ou trempé est inadapté.
Plus la terre est dense/solide, mieux l‘appareil fonctionne. Vous obtiendrez les meilleurs
résultats si le VOSS.sonic MoleEx 800 est installé à proximité d’une taupinière. Comme le
piquet de terre ne peut pas être simplement enfoncé dans un sol ferme, nous recommandons
d‘ameublir le sol au préalable avec une bêche/pelle de jardin et de le presser à nouveau
fermement après avoir placé l’appareil.
»Laissez le VOSS.sonic MoleEx 800 fonctionner en permanence. Il peut s‘écouler jusqu‘à
deux semaines avant qu’il ne fasse de l’effet.

11 TRANSPORT ET STOCKAGE
REMARQUE

Emballez bien l'appareil pour le transport. Pour les longues distances de transport,
il est recommandé de transporter l'appareil dans son emballage d'origine.
»Retirez les piles avant le stockage.
12 ÉLIMINATION
Le symbole de la poubelle barrée sur le produit ou son emballage indique que le produit
ne doit pas être éliminé avec les déchets ménagers normaux. Les usagers finaux sont
tenus de déposer les équipements usagés dans un point de collecte des déchets
d‘équipements électriques et électroniques.
Si le produit contient une pile ou un accumulateur, ceux-ci doivent être éliminés, si
possible, séparément du produit. En tant qu‘usager final, vous êtes légalement tenu de rapporter
les piles usagées. Vous pouvez rapporter gratuitement les piles usagées que nous proposons/
ou avons proposées dans notre gamme de produits en tant que piles neuves à notre magasin
d‘expédition (adresse d‘expédition) ou dans un centre de matériaux recyclables à proximité
de chez vous. Si la pile ou l‘accumulateur contient plus de 0,0005% de mercure en poids, plus
de 0,002% de cadmium en poids ou plus de 0,004% de plomb en poids, cela est indiqué par le
symbole chimique correspondant (Hg Cd, ou Pb) sous le symbole de la poubelle barrée sur la pile
