Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise
Lesen und beachten Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise und bewah-
ren Sie diese auf!
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
· Nutzen Sie Glätteisen ausschließlich zum Glätten von menschlichem
Haupthaar.
· Dieses Gerät ist für den Gebrauch in gewerblichen Bereichen
konstruiert.
Anforderungen an den Anwender
· Lesen Sie vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme die Betriebsanleitung voll-
ständig durch und machen Sie sich mit dem Gerät vertraut.
· Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Personen
mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten
oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn
sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes
unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstan-
den haben. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und
Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder durchgeführt werden, es
sei denn, sie sind beaufsichtigt.
· Die Geräteverpackung nicht in die Hände von Kindern gelangen las-
sen, da hiervon Gefahren ausgehen können (Erstickungsgefahr!).
· Das Gerät außerhalb der Reichweite von Tieren und vor Witterungs-
einflüssen geschützt ablegen.

Gefahr! Stromschlag durch Schäden am Gerät/Netzkabel.
fDas Gerät nicht benutzen, wenn es nicht ordnungsgemäß
funktioniert, wenn es beschädigt ist, oder wenn es ins Wasser
gefallen ist. Reparaturen ausschließlich von einem autorisier-
ten Servicecenter unter Verwendung von Original-Ersatzteilen
durchführen lassen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
fDas Gerät niemals mit einem beschädigten Netzkabel verwen-
den. Ein beschädigtes Netzkabel darf nur von einem autorisier-
ten Servicecenter oder einer ähnlich qualifizierten Person ersetzt
werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
fElektrogeräte dürfen nur durch elektrotechnisch ausgebildete

fDieses Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Badewannen, Duschwannen
oder anderen Gefäßen benutzen, die Wasser enthalten. Eben-
falls nicht an Orten mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit benutzen. Nach
jedem Gebrauch den Netzstecker ziehen, da die Nähe von Was-
ser auch bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät eine Gefahr darstellt.
fElektrogeräte stets so ablegen bzw. aufbewahren, dass sie nicht
ins Wasser (z.B. Waschbecken) fallen können. Das Gerät von
Wasser und anderen Flüssigkeiten fernhalten.
fDas Gerät niemals mit feuchten Händen benutzen sowie den
Netzstecker ein- und ausstecken.
fEin ins Wasser gefallenes Elektrogerät auf keinen Fall berühren
oder ins Wasser fassen. Sofort den Netzstecker ziehen.
fSollte das Gerät ins Wasser gefallen sein, darf es danach nicht
wieder benutzt werden. Das Gerät vor erneuter Inbetriebnahme
im Servicecenter überprüfen lassen.
fDas Gerät nur in trockenen Räumen benutzen und
aufbewahren.
fFehlerhafte Elektroinstallation, zu hohe Netzspannung sowie
unsachgemäßer Umgang können zu Kurzschlüssen oder elektri-
schen Schlägen führen.
fAls zusätzliche Sicherheitsmaßnahme wird der Einbau einer
geprüften Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung (RCD) mit einem
Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr als 30 mA in den
Stromkreis empfohlen. Fragen Sie Ihren Elektroinstallateur um
Rat.
Warnung! Verbrennungs- und Brandgefahr.
fDie Heizplatten sind während und direkt nach Gebrauch sehr
heiß. Niemals mit der Haut, Kopfhaut oder Augen in Berührung
bringen!
fHalten Sie immer einen ausreichenden Abstand zu allen leicht
brennbaren Gegenständen, z. B. Gardinen oder Vorhängen.
fLegen Sie das Gerät nach der Verwendung auf eine feste und
hitzebeständige Fläche.
fLassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie es reini-
gen oder verstauen.
fLassen Sie das Gerät während sowie nach dem Gebrauch nicht
unbeaufsichtigt.

Vorbereitung
fKontrollieren Sie die Vollständigkeit des Lieferumfangs.

fBetreiben Sie das Gerät ausschließlich mit der
auf dem Typenschild angegebenen Spannung.
Betrieb
1. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in Steckdose. Ein zwei-
facher akustischer Signalton ertönt.
2. Schalten Sie mit dem Ein-/Aus-Taster(E) das Gerät
ein (Abb 2). Ein akustisches Signal ertönt. Die LCD-
Anzeige leuchtet blau und zeigt die aktuelle Temperatur
an. Die höchste Temperatur mit 230°C ist voreingestellt.
3. Stellen Sie die gewünschte Betriebstemperatur mit den
Temperatur-Tastern (D) ein.

Dabei ertönt ein akustischer Signalton.
Die Einstellung der Betriebstemperatur erfolgt über
einen Bereich von 80°C bis 230°C in 10°C-Schritten.
Nach Erreichen der eingestellten Betriebstemperatur
wird diese im Display angezeigt.
4. Schalten Sie nach Gebrauch das Gerät durch längeres
Drücken des Ein-/Aus-Taster aus (Abb. 2). Die LCD-
Anzeige erlischt.
5. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.
6. Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen.

Entsorgung
Vorsicht! Umweltschäden bei falscher
Entsorgung.
fDie ordnungsgemäße Entsorgung dient dem
Umweltschutz und verhindert mögliche schäd-
liche Auswirkungen auf Mensch und Umwelt.
Beachten Sie im Falle der Entsorgung des Geräts die
jeweiligen gesetzlichen Vorschriften.
Information zur Entsorgung von elektrischen und elek-
tronischen Geräten in der europäischen Gemeinschaft:
Innerhalb der Europäischen Gemeinschaft wird für
elektrisch betriebene Geräte die Entsorgung durch
nationale Regelungen vorgegeben, die auf der
EU-Richtlinie 2012/19/EU über Elektronik-Altge-
räte (WEEE) basieren. Danach darf das Gerät
nicht mehr mit dem kommunalen Müll oder Haus-
müll entsorgt werden. Das Gerät wird bei den
kommunalen Sammelstellen bzw. Wertstoffhöfen
kostenlos entgegengenommen. Die Produktverpa-
ckung besteht aus recyclingfähigen Materialien.
Entsorgen Sie diese umweltgerecht und führen
diese der Wiederverwertung zu.
Temperatur Tastensperre
· Durch zweimaliges kurzes Drücken des Ein-/Aus-
Tasters (E) werden die Temperatur-Taster deaktiviert.
Ein akustischer Signalton ertönt. Die eingestellte
Betriebstemperatur wird gegen unbeabsichtigtes
Verstellen während des Gebrauchs gesichert.
· Durch zweimaliges kurzes Drücken des Ein-/Aus-
Tasters (E) werden die Temperatur-Taster wieder
aktiviert.
Automatische Abschaltung
Wird kein Taster gedrückt, schaltet das Gerät nach
50 Minuten automatisch ab.
Bedienung
Hinweise für ein erfolgreiches Styling
1. Waschen und spülen Sie die Haare gut aus.
2. Trocknen Sie die Haare.
3. Bürsten oder kämmen Sie die Haare.
4. Teilen Sie einzelne Haarsträhnen ab.
5. Platzieren Sie eine abgeteilte Haarsträhne am Ansatz
zwischen den Heizplatten.
6. Halten Sie das Gerät gedrückt und ziehen Sie es ent-
lang der Strähne langsam vom Kopf weg.
fHaarsträhne nicht länger als einige Sekunden
im Gerät behalten, da dies sonst zu einer
Schädigung der Haare führen kann.
fErhöhen Sie die Temperatur nur schrittweise.
7. Öffnen Sie das Gerät und lassen Sie die Haarsträhne
heraus gleiten.
8. Wiederholen Sie diesen Vorgang bis das gewünschte
Ergebnis erreicht ist.

Negative Ionen wirken antistatisch und haarschonend.
Negative Ionen schließen die Schuppenschicht der Haare
und bewirken eine glatte, seidige Haaroberfläche. Sie
schließen die natürliche Feuchtigkeit der Haare ein und
sorgen damit für ultimativen Glanz.

fSchalten Sie das Gerät vor Beginn aller Rei-

Problembehebung
Gerät heizt nicht.
Ursache: Defekte Stromversorgung.
fÜberzeugen Sie sich von der einwandfreien Kontaktie-
rung zwischen Netzstecker und Steckdose. Überprüfen
Sie das Stromkabel auf eventuelle Beschädigungen.
Wenn Sie das Problem mit diesen Hinweisen nicht behe-
ben können, wenden Sie sich an unsere Servicecenter.
Versuchen Sie keinesfalls das Gerät selbst zu reparieren!

Intended use
· Only use the hair straightener to straighten human head hair.
· This appliance is designed for commercial use.
User requirements
· Read the operating manual in full and familiarise yourself with it before
the first use.
· This appliance can be used both by children aged 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and/or knowledge, if they have been given supervi-
sion or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out
by children, unless they are supervised by an adult.
· Keep packaging away from children because it can pose a danger
(danger of suffocation!).
· Keep the appliance out of reach of animals and protected against the
effects of the weather.
Hazards
Danger! Electric shock due to damage to appliance/mains
cable.
fDo not use the appliance if it is not working correctly, if it is
damaged or if it has fallen into water. Repairs may only be per-
formed at an authorised service centre using original spare parts
in order to avoid hazards.
fNever use the appliance if the mains cable is damaged. A dam-
aged mains cable may only be replaced by an authorised ser-
vice centre or another similarly qualified person in order to avoid

fDo not use the appliance near bathtubs, showers or other water-
filled containers. It should also not be used in areas of high
humidity. Always disconnect from the mains power supply after
use since water can pose a hazard, even when the appliance is
switched off.
fAlways position or store electrical equipment where it cannot
fall into water (e.g. washbasin). Keep the appliance away from
water and other liquids.
fIf you have wet hands, do not use the appliance and never con-
nect it to or disconnect it from the mains.
fNever touch electrical equipment that has fallen into water
or reach into water to retrieve it. Disconnect from the mains
immediately.
fIf the appliance is dropped into water, it may not be used again
subsequently. Have the appliance inspected at a service centre
before using it again.

Operation
1. Insert the mains plug into the socket. A double acoustic
signal will sound.
2. Switch on the appliance using the on/off switch (E)
(Fig. 2). An acoustic signal will sound. The LCD display
shines blue and shows the current temperature. The
highest temperature is preset at 230°C.
3. Set the desired operating temperature with the temper-
ature switch (D).

Information on the disposal of electrical and electronic
appliances in the European Community:
Within the European Community, national regula-
tions are specified for the disposal of electrical
appliances, based on EU Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment Directive 2012/19/EC
(WEEE). In accordance with this, the appliance
can no longer be disposed of with the local or
domestic waste.
The appliance will be accepted free of charge by
local collection points or recycling centres.
The packaging for this product is made from
recyclable materials. Dispose of this in an environ-
mentally friendly manner by recycling it.
The operating temperature can be set within a range of
80-210°C in 10°C increments. After the set operating
temperature has been reached, this will be shown in
the display.
4. After using the appliance, switch it off by holding down
the on/off switch (Fig. 2). The LCD display goes out.
5. Disconnect from the mains.
6. Allow the appliance to cool down.
Temperature switch lock
· The temperature switches will be deactivated by shortly
pressing the on/off switch (E) twice. An acoustic signal
will sound. The temperature setting is now fixed against
unintentional alteration during operation.
· The temperature switches will be reactivated by shortly
pressing the on/off switch (E) twice.
Automatic switch-off
The appliance switches itself off automatically within 50
minutes if no switch is pressed.
Operation
Tips for successful styling
1. Wash and rinse the hair well.
2. Dry the hair.
3. Brush or comb the hair.
4. Section off individual strands of hair.
5. At the hairline, place a section of hair between the
heating plates.
6. Keep the appliance pressed together and slowly pull it
down the section of hair and away from the head.
fDo not leave the sections of hair in the appli-
ance for more than a few seconds, otherwise
this could damage the hair.
fOnly increase temperature gradually.
7. Open the appliance and allow the section of hair to
slip out.
8. Repeat this process until the desired result has been
achieved.

Negative ions have an antistatic effect and are gentle to the
hair. They close the scale layer, creating a smooth, silky
hair surface. They lock in the natural moisture of the hair,
thereby creating the ultimate shine.

Fonctionnement
1. Branchez la fiche dans la prise. Un double signal
sonore retentit.
2. Allumez l’appareil en utilisant l’interrupteur marche/
arrêt (E) (Fig. 2). Un signal sonore retentit. L’écran LCD
s’allume en bleu et affiche la température actuelle. La
température maximale est préréglée à 230°C.
3. Réglez la température de service souhaitée, à l’aide
des interrupteurs de température (D).

Le réglage de la température de service s’effectue dans
une plage de 80°C à 230°C, par incréments de 10°C.
Une fois que la température de service réglée a été
atteinte, celle-ci s’affiche sur l’écran.
4. Après utilisation, éteignez l’appareil par un appui pro-
longé sur l’interrupteur marche/arrêt (Fig. 2). L’écran
LCD s’éteint.
5. Retirez la prise secteur.
6. Laissez l’appareil refroidir.

Blocage des touches Température

Utilisation
Conseils pour une mise en forme réussie
1. Lavez les cheveux et rincez-lez soigneusement.
2. Séchez les cheveux.
3. Brossez ou peignez les cheveux.
4. Séparez les cheveux en mèches.
5. Placez une mèche entre les plaques chauffantes en
partant de la racine.
6. Maintenez l’appareil fermé et tirez-le lentement le long
de la mèche en l’éloignant de la tête.
fNe laissez pas la mèche plus de quelques
secondes dans l’appareil, ceci pouvant abîmer
les cheveux.
fN’augmentez la température que
progressivement.
7. Ouvrez l’appareil et laissez la mèche de cheveux en
glisser.
8. Répétez le processus jusqu’à obtention du résultat
recherché.
Plaques chauffantes à revêtement CÉRAMIQUE et
TOURMALINE
Les ions négatifs ont un effet antistatique tout en proté-
geant les cheveux. Les ions négatifs referment la cuticule
et permettent d’obtenir un cheveu lisse et soyeux. Ils per-
mettent de retenir l’humidité naturelle du cheveu pour une
brillance maximale.
