Quick Start Manual for Assistina 3x3 / 3x2
This Quick Start Manual is NOT a substitute for the instructions for use Assistina!
If you have any questions or queries please always pull the instructions for use for help.
1. Insert / take out cartridge.
The cartridges must be at room temperature
when they are inserted.
The cartridge spike is sharp.
Be careful not to injure yourself on the
projecting spike.
a)Insert the cartridge.
> Slide in the cartridge.
> You should hear the
cartridge engage.
b)Take out the cartridge.
> Press the button for
releasing the cartridge.
> Pull out the cartridge.
4. Carry out initial filling after cartridge change.
a)Close the cover. Press
the Start button
for approx. 5 sec..
The initial filling
process will take
approx. 2 minutes.
If the Assistina unit has been out of use for an extended
period of time (approx. 14 days), repeat the initial filling
process.
The Start LED light
up green. The
device is ready for
use.
a)Firmly tighten the
union nut anti-
clockwise by hand
(leak tightness).

3. Insertion / removal of the external cleaning ring
(Assistina 3x3)
a)Insertion of the
external cleaning ring.
> Push the connecting
hoses parallel onto the
connection bushes.
> Clamp the connection
hoses into the hose
guides.
b)Removal of the
external cleaning ring.
> Take out the
connecting hoses from
the hose guides.
2. Open the cover.
a)Open the cover.

Overview error messages
> Standby mode:
Press the Start button.
> Device not connected to the
mains supply:
Connect the power supply.
> Electronics defective:
Send to an authorized W&H
service partner.
> Rotate the care attachment
manually.
> Cartridge
W&H Service Oil F1, MD-200
or
W&H Activefluid, MC- 1100
empty or not in the unit:
a) Replace / insert the
cartridge.
b) Press the Start button
1x.
c) Carry out the initial filling.
> Electronics defective:
Send to an authorized W&H
service partner.
> Air supply fails.
a) Re-establish the
main air supply.
b) Press the Start button 1x.
c) Carry out the initial filling
> Cover opened during the
preparation process:
a) Close the cover.
b) Press the Start button 2x.
> Waste drawer full:
Empty the waste drawer
Press the Start button 1x.
> Waste drawer open or not in
the unit:
Close or insert the waste
drawer.
> Waste drawer opened
during the preparation
process:
a) Close the waste drawer.
b) Press the Start button 2x.
> Preparation process not
correctly completed:
Press the Start button 2x.
> Start button pressed during
the preparation process:
Press the Start button 2x.
Sensor dirty or covered:
> Wipe-disinfect the sensor.
> Check position of hose
external cleaning ring and
clip in place if necessary.
> Press the »Start« button 2x,
the preparation process will
then start.
