Installation
The luminaire must be installed and maintained by a suit-
ably qualified person in compliance with latest construc-
tion and electrical regulations and relevant legislation.
The given information from the lamp manufacturer about
the correct lamp, operation and maintenance are strictly
to be observed.

Installation Procedure
It is recommended to incorporate the optional WE-EF
planted roots ESV4 300-0464 or ESV4 300-0586 to
facilitate a rigid installation.
1) Switch off the mains electrical supply.
2) A suitable recess to be provided for the planted root A.
Ensure that a solid foundation as well as sufficient
mains cable length are provided. Adjust the planted
root Aand fix it on the ground (the post can get
adjusted in 90° steps).
3) Replenish soil or fix the earth piece with site concrete
according to requirements.
4) Loosen screws Cand remove cover Bby sliding
upwards. Twist the locking screw Gand open the
door Hof the post and take it off.
5) Insert the connecting cable through the post Dand the
door opening. Adjust post with the cast base Eand fix
it with the screws Fon the planted root. Reposition
cover Band firmly tighten the screws.
6) Loosen screws Lfrom the earth cable connecting box
and take off cover M.
7) Cut connecting cable to the required length. Loosen
screws Iand take off the strain relief. Insert the con-
necting cable through the inserts Jand connect it
Montage
Montage und Wartung darf nur von geschultem Fachper-
sonal mit entsprechender beruflicher Qualifikation in Über-
einstimmung mit den neuesten elektrischen Installations-
und Sicherheitsvorschriften durchgeführt werden.
Die Hinweise der Leuchtmittelhersteller der eingesetzten
Lampe für Betrieb und Wartung sind unbedingt zu beachten.

Vorgehensweise
Um einen festen Stand der Leuchte zu gewährleisten,
sind die WE-EF Erdstücke ESV4 300-0464 bzw. ESV4
300-0586 zu verwenden.
1) Spannungsfreiheit der Anschlussleitung herstellen.
2) Das Erdstück Aausrichten und im Boden verankern
(das Standrohr kann in 90° Schritten ausgerichtet
werden).
3) Füllen Sie Erdreich an oder befestigen Sie das Erdstück
mit Ortbeton je nach Erfordernis.
4) Die Kaschierung Bdurch Lösen der Schrauben Cnach
oben schieben. Durch Drehen der Verriegelungs-
schraube Gdie Tür Him Standrohr öffnen und aus-
hängen.
5) Die Anschlussleitung durch das Standrohr Dund die
Türöffnung ziehen, Standrohr mit dem Gussfuß Eaus-
richten und mit den Schrauben Fauf dem Erdstück
befestigen. Kaschierung Baufsetzen und festziehen.
6) Dei Schraube Lvom Erdkabelübergangskasten lösen
und den Deckel Mabnehmen.
7) Die Anschlussleitung auf die gewünschte Länge kürzen.
Die Zugentlastung durch Lösen der Schrauben I
abnehmen, die Anschlussleitung durch die Einsätze J
führen und an die Anschlussklemme Kanschließen.

Nulleiter (N), Phase (L1) und Schutzleiteranschluss
an die entsprechend markierten Kontakte der
Anschlussklemme anschließen. Vergleichen Sie die ört-
liche Spannung und Frequenz mit den Daten auf dem
Leistungsschild.
8) Die Zugentlastung mit den Schrauben Iwieder fest
anziehen, Deckel Maufsetzen und die Schraube L
fest anziehen.
9) Die Tür Hwieder einhängen und durch Drehen der
Verriegelungsschraube Gbefestigen.
10) Die Schrauben Oam oberen Teil der Leuchte lösen und
Leuchtenkopf Nnach oben entfernen. Lampe sorgfältig
einstzen. Lampentyp, -leistung und -sockel müssen mit
den Angaben des Leistungsschildes übereinstimmen.
11) Den Leuchtenkopf aufsetzen und mit den Schrauben O
gleichmäßig festziehen (auf richtigen Sitz des
Leuchtenkopfes achten).
Lampenwechsel und Wartung
Leuchtengehäuse nicht während des Betriebes öffnen!
1) Spannungsfreiheit der Anschlussleitung herstellen.
2) Leuchtenkopf entfernen und mit geeignetem Reini-
gungsmittel säubern. Dichtungen auf Funktions-
fähigkeit überprüfen und gegebenenfalls austauschen.
3) Lampe wechseln.
4) Vorgehensweise für Montage und Demontage wie
unter Punkt 9) und 10) beschrieben.
Für die Entsorgung der Lampe sind die zur Zeit gültigen
Umweltgesetze zu beachten.

(N = neutral, L1 = phase, = earthing). Check that
rating shown on the luminaire label conforms with
the mains electrical supply.
8) Repositioin the strain relief and firmly tighten with
the screws I, reposition cover Mand firmly tighten
the screws L.
9) Reposition door Hand tighten the locking screw G.
10) Loosen the screws Oon the upper part of the luminaire
and take off luminaire head upwards. Fit the appropri-
ate lamp. (Compare the local voltage and frequency
with the data mentioned on the label of the luminaire.
11) Reposition luminaire head and evenly tighten with
screws O(ensure correct fit of the luminaire head).
Lamp Replacement and Maintenance
Do not open luminaire while in operation or while mains
supply is switched on!
1) Switch off the mains electrical supply.
2) Remove luminaire head. Clean all exterior surfaces, if
necessary by using a wet cloth with mild detergent.
3) Check gasket for damage and replace if necessary.
4) Replace lamp.
5) Follow item 9) and 10) for instructions to close
luminaire.
Protect our environment: Discard used lamps in compliance
with the most recent environmental legislation.
