For Homecare Use:
Do Not Use Vinegar. Do not reprocess, boil or microwave as high temperatures may
melt some of the plastic parts. Only the VixOne™ Nebulizer is top shelf dishwasher
safe.
1. Wash and dry your hands.
2. Set Variable Expiratory Resistor to
full open position.
3. Fill the Nebulizer with prescribed
medication. Use a Mouthpiece. If a
mask is needed, your medical provider
or respiratory home care company will
supply a special mask for use with the
Circulaire® II Hybrid System.
4. Connect one end of the Oxygen
Supply Tubing to the Nebulizer and
the other end to the oxygen outlet
valve located either on the wall (hospital)
or on the Nebulizer Compressor (home).
5. Set the flow meter for the outlet valve
on the wall to 8 L/minute. Note:
Nebulizer Compressors usually do not
have flow meters. If you are using a
Nebulizer Compressor, turn it on.
6. As soon as the gas flow starts, place
Mouthpiece into your mouth and
breathe in and out normally.
7. Adjust the opening on the Variable
Expiratory Resistor to a setting that
feels comfortable to you. If the
Elastomeric Reservoir fully collapses
during inhalation, you are receiving
maximum medication administration.
A small valve will open automatically
to give room air for the remainder of
your inspired breath
8. The treatment should take approximately
5-7 minutes for 3 mL of medication,
depending on the gas source.
1. Washand dry your hands.
2. Detach the Nebulizer from the Manifold.
3. Twist the purple cap counterclockwise
until it releases and detaches from the

4. Set the cap and bowl upright on a clean
surface and add medication.
5. Reattach the cap to the bowl by twisting
clockwise until the cap firmly engages.
6. Reattach the Nebulizer assembly to the
Manifold ensuring a snug fit.
