Please read the instruction sheets completely before assembly. Examine all packaging
material before discarding carton. Remove any remaining staples from the carton before
discarding. Remove all parts from carton and separate into groups as indicated on part
list. Please ensure all parts are included prior to assembly. Use of power tools to
complete assembly is not recommended.

Important
Before you begin: Open, identify and count all parts prior to assembly. Lay out parts on a flat and non-
abrasive surface. You will need the parts identified on page 4 and 5 of this instruction manual.
NOTE: IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO USE GLUE WITH DOWELS. EXCESS GLUE CAN BE WIPED OFF
WITH DAMP CLOTH.
Insert Dowel at least half way by tapping lightly with a rubber mallet, IF NECESSARY.
CAM LOCK SYSTEM OPERATION
HOW THE KNOCK DOWN (KD) ASSEMBLY SYSTEM WORKS
1. Screw the Cam Bolt into the threaded inserts on the panel. Connect both panels together; making sure Cam
Bolt goes into the pre-drilled hole on the end of panel for Cam Lock.
2. Insert the Cam Lock into the pre-drilled large hole on the panel. Make sure the arrow on the face of Cam
Lock faces out and points towards Cam Bolt.
3. Take a Phillips screwdriver and rotate the Cam Lock clockwise to lock the Cam Bolt in place.
4. Plug the Cam Lock Cover into the cross slot of the Cam Lock to conceal the Cam.
You are now ready to assemble the KD unit.

Drawer Assembling
1. Unpack the unit and confirm that you have all the hardware and required parts. Assemble the unit on a
carpeted floor or the empty carton to avoid any scratch.
2. Pick up the 16” Ball Bearing Slides (P) and separate the Slide Runners for the following steps. Extend
the Slide Runner all the way forward. Press the plastic release lever of the ball bearing slides up and
pull the Slide Runner complete out.
3. Attach the separated Slide Runners (P) to the Drawer Side Panels (I and J) respectively, using three
12 mm Screws (6) per slide runner. As shown. Make sure that the slide opening points towards the edge
with two vertical through holes in a line running against.
4. Align and attach the Caster Support (M) to the bottom side of the Drawer Bottom Support (L) by using four
25 mm Screws (8) through the countersunk holes and screw into place, as shown.
5. Proceed to fasten the Swivel Caster (12) onto the Caster Support (M) with four 15 mm Pan Head Screws
(7), using the pilot holes as a guide. Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver.

Drawer Assembling
6. Locate the Drawer Front (G) on a carpeted floor with the holes facing up. Securely screw four Small
Cam Bolts (3) into the designated small holes as shown in the illustration.
7. Attach the Drawer Side Panels (I and J) to the Drawer Front (G) by engaging four Small Cam Locks (1)
(Refer to page 3 on Cam Lock system operation supplement). Make sure that the grooves face inward
and line up with each other.
8. Attach the Drawer Bottom Support (L) between the Drawer Side Panels (I and J) with the installed
Caster (12) facing out, using four 32 mm Wood Screws (9). As shown.

Drawer Assembling
9. Slide the Drawer Bottom Panel (K) into the grooves between the Drawer Side Panels (I and J) until fully
inserted into the Drawer Front (G). Make sure the finished surface will face up. As shown.
10. Fasten the Drawer Back Panel (H) to Drawer Side Panels (I and J) using four 32 mm Wood Screws (9).
Make sure that Drawer Bottom Panel (K) fits securely into the groove of the Drawer Back Panel (H).
Tighten all the screws with a Phillips screwdriver.

Assembly Instructions
11. Turn the assembled drawer upright. Fit 2 Guide Rails (N) onto the Drawer Side Panels (I and J) with the
high side facing inward. As shown.
12. Hook 2 File Hangers (O) onto the high edge of the Guide Rails (N). Slide the File Hangers front and
back to accommodate letter or legal-sized folders.
13. Attach the Handle (10) to the outside of Drawer Front (G) using the provided Handle Bolt (11).
14. With the pilot holes as a guide, attach the separated Slide Tracks (P) to the slide supports on the Left
and Right Side Frames (A and B) respectively, using three 12 mm Screws (6) per slide track. As shown.
Make sure that the slide opening faces the front of the unit.

Assembly Instructions
15. Securely screw the Large Cam Bolts (4) into the designated small holes on the Side Frames (A and B)
and the Top Panel (C), as shown in the illustration.
16. Attach the Fixed Shelf (D) to the Back Panel (F) with two Wood Dowels (5). As shown. Make sure that
the molding of Fixed Shelf (D) will face the bottom of the unit.
