This fine piece of furniture will make a handsome
addition to your home. For the best results, start by
reading both the Assembly Instructions and
Finishing Hints before you begin your project.
Do not climb, sit or stand on this piece of
furniture.
Unload items from this unit prior to moving.
Do not overload the drawers on this unit.
For maximum stability, attach unit to the wall using
the enclosed hardware as per instructions.
Production Code:
Read both the Assembly Instructions and Finishing
Hints completely before beginning.
Store the parts: 1) in their box; 2) in a dry place; 3) in
temperatures ranging from 40° to 90°. (Not on a cold,
possibly damp, cement floor.)
Inspect your furniture periodically for any loose glue
joints or screws, or any other problem which may
be affecting the stability of your furniture. Tighten or
repair as needed.

which are defective, missing or damaged

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
If a top or panel should become cupped, do not be alarmed. The panel was flat when it was
manufactured. It is a natural characteristic of wood in an unfinished state to cup from
uneven moisture conditions. The figure at the right shows an exaggerated view of what
could happen. This only means that the convex side has absorbed moisture, or
the concave side has dried out.
Usually a cupped panel will equalize and straighten out if both sides are
exposed to similar conditions for a day or so.

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO OPERATE CAM LOCK SYSTEM ON THE
ENCLOSED SHEET AT THIS TIME.
1) Install three Drawer Slides (Cabinet Side Left) (V2) using #6x5/8" Undercut (type 17) Screws (R) in
the three sets of pre-punched holes in the Left Side (Gb). The slides should be flush with front edge
of the sides. Insert a third screw in one of the center holes in each of the slides. See FIGURE 1A.
Repeat for the Right Side (Hb) with Drawer Slides (Cabinet Side Right) (V1).
Hammer Tack Glides (Q) into the bottom edges of both sides about one inch from the back edge.
See FIGURE 1A.
Insert a Cam Connector (M) into each of the four holes in the bottom of the Top (J). See FIGURE 1B.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
TOOLS REQUIRED: Phillips Head Screwdriver, Tape Measure, Hammer, Wood Glue, 3/16" Drill Bit and Drill.
IMPORTANT:
We recommend finishing the unit before final assembly.Before finishing, read enclosed finishing hints.
NOTE: Due to the fact that more than one type of hardwood is used, we recommend testing for desired color.
To test for desired color on:
a) Veneer parts—apply stain to unexposed portion of side panel. See FIGURE 1A.
b) Alder pieces—apply stain to back of base. See FIGURE 6.

The side panels have a
compression stamp on the
bottom edge:
“L” for left, “R” for right.
The drawer slides will be stamped with an “L” for left or
an “R” for right in the center of the wheels. Or they will be
stamped about 3" from the wheel with: “CL” for cabinet
Left; “DL” for drawer left; “CR” for cabinet right; “DR” for
drawer right.

2) Attach three Drawer Slides (Cabinet Side Left) (V2) to the front Vertical Support (X) and the Back
Vertical Support (Y) with #6x5/8" Undercut (type 17) Screws (R) into the pre-punched holes in the
supports. The notches in the vertical supports must be toward the bottom and face away from each
other. The slides should be flush with the outer edge of the vertical supports, with the wheels to the
front. See FIGURE 2.
Repeattheabovesteps onthe oppositeside ofthe verticalsupports withthe DrawerSlides (Cabinet
Side Right) (V1).
3) Attach a Sleeper (I) to the top edge of each Vertical Support (X & Y) using a #8x15/8" Black Screw
(Z) in the center hole of the sleepers. There is a hole in the end of the supports for the screw. The
notches in the sleepers must face each other and the outer edges must be flush with the front and
back edges of the vertical supports. See FIGURE 3A.
Turn the assembly over and attach the lower sleepers in the notches of the vertical supports with
#8x15/8" Black Screws (Z). Use the center holes in the sleepers and the pre-punched hole in the
notch on the supports. The notches on these sleepers must face toward the bottom of the unit. See
FIGURE 3B.
