Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To minimize the risk of injury by means of fire or
electric shock we urge that our clients take some basic safety precautions when using this
device Please read the operation instructions carefully and make sure you have understood its
content
Always use a grounded power connection with the appropriate mains voltage. You can find the
corresponding mains voltage on the type plate. If you have any doubts about the connection being
grounded, have it checked by a qualified professional. Never use a faulty electric cable.
Do not inspect the electrical part of the pressure pond filter in a wet or damp environment or when you
are wet yourself and protect it from direct sunlight. Install this device in a safe location so that nobody
can step on the cable, fall over or damage it. Disconnect the power plug before cleaning it and use
only a damp cloth for cleaning. Avoid using cleaning agents and make sure that no liquid enters the
electrical part of the pump.
The electric part of the device contains no parts that can be inspected or serviced by the user. Leave
the maintenance, adjustment and repair to qualified technical personnel. In case of unauthorised
intervention the 2-year warranty is no longer valid! Keep these operation instructions safe.

Safety guideline
BEWARE:
The use of this device is allowed on standing bodies of water, garden ponds’ water or swimming ponds
and their surrounding areas only with fault current protection-switch with a triggering nominal current
up to 30mA (according to VDE 0100 article 702 and 738).
The device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with impaired or limited physical,
sensory and mental abilities or lack of experience and/or real knowledge, unless they are supervised
by a person responsible for their safety or you follow the instructions made by this person how to use
the device correctly.
Children should be supervised to make sure that they do not play with the device.
ATTENTION:
Run a visual inspection of the device before every use. Do not use the device if the safety ap-
pliances are damaged or worn out. Never override safety regulations.
Use the device exclusively according to the intended purpose stated in the instructions for
use.
You are responsible for the safety of the working environment.
If the cable or the plug is damaged due to external influences the cable must not be repaired!
It has to be replaced with a new one. This work can be carried out only by an electrician.
The voltage indicated on the type plate of the device of 230 Volt alternating voltage has to cor-
respond to the existent mains voltage.
 Never lift, carry or fixate the device by using the power cable.
Make sure that the electrical plug connection is placed in a flood-proof area and is protected
from moisture.
Before working on the pond filter disconnect the appliance by taking the plug out of the socket.
Avoid exposing the appliance to a direct water jet or rain.
The user is responsible for the compliance with location specific safety and installing regula-
tions. (Ask an electrician).
Consequential damage arising from flooded rooms caused by disfunctions of the appliance
must be avoided by means of the appropriate measures.(installing an alarm system, reserve
pump).
In case of malfunction the repair work can be carried out only by a qualified electricial or the
WilTec-service.
The appliance must not run dry or with a completely closed intake port. The manufacturer’s
warrantyis no longer valid if the damage is caused by dry running.
The appliance must not be used for swimming pools.
The appliance must not be used for drinking water circuits.
The device has to be installed out of water.
You have to make sure that the filter cannot fall into the water.
You have to make sure that the filter is not exposed directly to sunlight.
The pond pressure filter has to be horizontally fixed with screws on a suitable mounting place.
The universal-hose stepped tails can be shortened according to the hose diameter if neces-
sary.
Attach hoses and hose clamps.

Operate the tubes only if the housing is closed and not cracked.

Sand Filtration system working principle
Incoming water from the piping system is automatically directed by the Multiport Valve to the top of the
filter bed. As the water is pumped through the filter sand, dirt and debris are trapped by the filter bed,
and filtered out. The filtered water is returned from the bottom of the filter tank, through the Multiport
Valve and back through the piping system.
Preparation before installation
1. Position the filter as close to the wimming Pool/ pa as possible.
2. The filter should be placed on a level concrete slab, very firm ground, or equivalent. Ensure
that the ground will not subside, preventing any strain from the attached plumbing.
3. Position the filter under consideration of the piping connections, so that it is convenient for op-
erating and servicing.
4. Ensure that the compliance label is facing the front to allow easy identification in the case of
service difficulties.
How to install the filter tank
1. Mount the sand tank to sand filter support according to the below instruction.

INSTALLATION NOTES:
1. Make sure the filter is worked under the work pressure, and using a pressure control valve
when the system using a booster pump.
2. If the pump position is higher than the water level, it requires to install the back water control
valve.
3. If the pump position is lower than the water level, it requires installing an isolation valve. It
could stop the water return back when people do the general inspection.
4. Reducing the connect adaptors and hose connecting bending as less as possible. Decreasing
the water flow scrub, it could reach the maximum effective.
5. Ensure solvents are not excessively applied to fittings as this could run into O-ring and create-
sealing problems.
6. Do not over tighten fittings or adapters
HOW TO USE
1. Inspect all the connections have been made correct and are secure.
2. Depress top mount valve handle and rotate to BACKWA H position.
3. Prime and start pump according to pump instructions.

MAKE URE THE FILTER VE EL ARE FULL FILL THE WATER BEFORE TART UP THE
PUMP. OR IT WILL CAU E THE PUMP DAMAGED.
4. Once water flow is steady out the waste line, run the pump for at least 2 minutes. The intial
back-washing of the filer is recommended to remove any impurities of fine sand particles in
the sand media.
5. Turn pump off and set valve to RIN E position. tart pump and operate until water in sight
glass is clearabout 1/2 to 1 minute. Turn pump off, set valve to FILTER position and restart
pump. Your filter is now operating in the normal filter mode, filtering particles from the pool wa-
ter.

NOTES:
1. Note the initial pressure gauge reading when the filter is clean. (it will vary from pool depend-
ing upon the pump and general piping system). As the filter removes dirt and impurities from
the pool water, the accumulation in the filter will cause the pressure to rise and flow to dimin-
ish. When the pressure gauge reading is 8-10 P I(0.55-0.69 BAR) higher than the initial
“clean” pressure you noted, it is the time to backwash (clean) the filter
2. IMPORTANT: To prevent unnecessary strain on piping system and valving, always shut off
pump before switching filter control valve position.
3. To prevent damage to the pump and filter and for proper operation of the system, clean pump
strainer and skimmer baskets regularly.
FILTER CONTROL VALVE FUNCTIONS
FILTER et valve to FILTER for normal filtering. Also use for regular vacuuming.
BACKWASH For cleaning filter. When filter pressure gauge rises 8-10 P I (0.55-0.69 BAR) aboves-
tart-up (clean pressure) top the pump, set valve to BACKWA H. tart pump and
backwash until water in sight glass is clear Approximately 2 minutes or less depending
on dirt accumulation. Proceed to RIN E.
RINSE After backwashing, with pump off, set valve to RIN E. tart pump and operate for
about 1/2 to 1minute. This ensures that all dirty water from backwashing is rinsed out
of the filter to waste, preventing possible return to the pool. top pump, set valve to
FILTER and start pump for normal filtering.
WASTE To bypass filter for draining or lowering water level and for vacuuming heavy debris di-
rectly to waste.

TROUBLESHOOTING AND TECHNICAL SERVICE
This filter and its instructions are designed for domestic use, with no need for professional supervision,
except for exceptional cases. Here we shall describe the problems and causes which may arise after
years of service of the filter that you can repair yourself. If you cannot solve the problem, contact the
pool manufacturer at the telephone indicated in the instructions.

Disposal regulations
EU guidelines regarding the disposal of scrap electric appliances (WEEE, 2002/96/EC) were
implemented in the law related to electrical and electronic equipment and appliances.
